Chapter 911: Sword God Inheritance Part 3
"You! I will just kill you myself!" Prince Kun drew his sword and was going to strike out at Bi Ling, but the little girl who was just standing in front of him had disappeared. The next thing he felt was the front side of his body, feeling a cold breeze. He looked down to see the young girl kneeling down in front of him with a strange look on her face. "How can this be!? Why are you not just some ugly girl!? I am scarred for life!"
"Sister Bi, why did you have to make me look at that!" Mei Ling cried out.
"Ahh! Sorry, Mei! Don't worry, I will make this pervert pay!" Bi Ling pursed her lips as she jumped up and grabbed Prince Kun by his face and, with a burst of strength, threw him towards the statues. "Dinners ready!"
Everyone stood there staring at the little girl in disbelief. They never thought that this innocent looking crazy girl was truly very strong. While they did notice her cultivation, the prince just now was an immortal King! They all watched as Prince Kun landed in between the two statues. The statues both moved and swung down at Prince Kun, who was trying to crawl up from the ground. It was right at the moment that the swords hit the ground that they saw a small figure suddenly flash by them all and was now standing on the bridge leading to the Palace. "Thank you, Princess Kun, for your sacrifice!"
"Mei, is that better? I got rid of the pervert and even used him to allow us to get on the bridge." Bi Ling asked.
"Mm… Thank you, Sister Bi." Mei Ling replied with a smile.
As Bi Ling made her way to the palace entrance, Kana suddenly appeared at the old man's side. "Thank you for protecting my daughter. You went out of your way to stand in front of someone who could use his status to harm you."
The old man looked at the young Lizard girl in surprise. He had no idea when this young woman had appeared at his side. Just now, she also said daughter. Taking a good look at the young woman, he noticed she did resemble the young girl just now. "No need to thank me. I just thought the girl reminded me of my granddaughter when she was young."
"Here, take this." Kana handed the old man a bottle. "It should help you break through. But just know there are not many people with such kind hearts in this world. For this, I hope you live a long life. You should also consume it now because I will be leaving soon to follow my daughter. I will protect you while you take it."
"Ah….." The old man looked at Kana and smiled warmly as he sat down. He could tell this young lizard girl was very extraordinary. So much so that her natural aura alone was enough to think of her as someone much more powerful than him. He took the bottle and opened it up. A dense smell of spiritual qi flooded out of the bottle, causing everyone to turn and look at the old man in envy.
No one dared to move because there seemed to be some kind of tyrannical force weighing down on them coming from the lizard girl at the old man's side. They could only watch as the old man fell into a meditative state.
Seeing the old man take the pill, Kana smiled as she turned toward the guards. "You should leave. If anyone asks, tell them Kana was the one who killed your prince. You can give them my details and tell them if they want trouble, come find me. I will not hide."
"Yes!" The lead guard replied before turning around and ordering everyone else to return. They all turned in formation and quickly left the mountain peak.
Bi Ling, meanwhile, had already reached the entrance of the palace and looked at all the swords engraved on the door. She had no idea why someone would spend so long engraving swords but she figured it must have taken a long time. "Mei, do you think there is a trap on the other side of this door?"
"Mm… probably not. I think there would be more trials inside. After all, it is supposed to be an inheritance, right?" Mei Ling replied.
"True…. I guess we can only find out." Bi Ling raised her little hands and pushed on the door.
*Bang!*
The door swung open with a big bang as Bi Ling stood there with her hand extended and flushed cheeks. "Hehe… I pushed too hard…"
"Bi!" Mei Ling yelled out. While she said that it might not be any traps, it was not one hundred percent!
"Sorry! Sorry I will be more careful from now on." Bi Ling replied as she walked into the palace.
The whole palace was well lit and looked very clean, but there were arrays that could protect things from dust and decay. Bi Ling walked to the middle of the entry when the door behind her slammed shut.
*Bang!*
"That wasn't me!" Bi ling yelled out as she turned around to see the door now firmly closed.
"Welcome! You are the first to pass the first trial and make it into my palace. I am the Sword God He Lin!"
"I am Bi Ling and Mei Ling. Nice to meet you." Bi Ling introduced both herself and Mei Ling. She would never leave her sister out of the fun! She did not seem bothered one bit to see the ghostly image in front of her. She had met her Grandmama Lysarith, and her big sister was the Ghost Empress. So dealing with the undead was nothing.
"Ummm, I do not see anyone else…. So who is Bi Ling, and who Is Mei Ling?" The sword god asked. He seemed very much confused.
"I am Bi and I am Mei." Bi and Me answered one after the other, but because they shared the same body, the sword god was getting even more confused by the second.
