Chapter 269: An Old Man Appears
After a day of rest, Kana and the six sisters were finally ready for the last boss. "We ready?" Kana asked.
"Ready!"
"Time to die!"
"Only you will die."
"Yeah, since I am going to push you."
"Haha, Sister Tu dies first!"
"All of you shut it!" Sister Fu yelled out an annoyance. She wondered when her sisters would finally grow up!
Kana chuckled and pushed on the door. The large doors with hundreds of skulls engraved on them slowly opened to reveal a pitch black room. The group walked inside but were confused when they saw that the room was quite small… "What is this?"
"Haha, well done!" A voice sounded boomed across the room, ringing everyone's ears. A column of light appeared in the center of the room, and within it, two figures slowly declined to the ground. An immense pressure weighed down on Kana and the six sisters, causing them to fall to their knees.
"What the hell is this!? The last boss!?" Kana yelled as she struggled to raise her head.
"Master! Your aura!" The girl next to the old man yelled.
"Huh? What about my aura!?" The old man yelled back. Not understanding what his disciple was talking about.
"Your aura is still on full blast. How can someone who hasn't even made it to godhood yet even withstand a fraction of your aura!?" The old man's disciple explained.
The old man looked over at Kana and the six sisters and saw them barely holding on and finally understood. "Hehe, my bad."
Shortly after his words fell, the pressure in the room disappeared, allowing Kana and the six sisters to breathe a sigh of relief. But when sister Fu raised her head and saw the old man, her mouth dropped to the floor as she shouted: "Master!? You bastard, you dare come back!?"
"Hmm? You know me?" The old man looked at Sister Fu, squinting his eyes, trying to remember who she was.
"Master, a few thousand years ago, you took them in and trained them and tasked them to train people who reached the ninety first floor. You have been watching them this entire time. How did you forget about them?" The old man's disciple asked, feeling exasperated.
"Oh! I did do that! But why is she so angry at me?" The old man asked, seemingly confused.
"Because you up and left without saying a word for thousands of years." The old man's disciple answered while rolling her eyes. Anyone would be mad if you just leave and do not return to check on them.
"Oh! I see. I am deeply sorry." The old man bowed but not to the girls or kana but to his disciple.
"Why are you bowing and apologizing to me!? Apologize to them!" The old man's disciple yelled. She reached out and whacked the old man on the head.
"Ah! Haha, you're right. Why should I apologize to you?" Stroking his beard, he faced the six sisters and bowed his head deeply. "I apologize for not returning. It is good to see that you six are all well..."
Sister Fu twisted with emotions. "You saved our lives back then, so we owed you a debt of gratitude. Our lives were yours to do as you see fit with, but I think we have paid off our debt. So we will now follow our disciple Kana on her journey."
"Mmm… That is a good idea. Once again, sorry and thank you for all your hard work." The old man smiled at the girls and then turned to Kana. "Young lady, you have really amazed me. You have really outdone yourself. As you can see, there is no boss in this room, and there never was. To those who clear my dungeons, I have personally come to meet them and reward them for their hard work. People call me Old Dan. My real name is... I have long forgotten. Next to me is my disciple Milie. You will get o….. "
"Wait! Master, please excuse me but first, let me say something to her." Milie spoke up and jogged over to Kana and whispered in her ear and then created a barrier around the two, blocking anyone seeing inside. "Quickly put this on. That old bastard has been watching you non stop, not caring if you were naked or not. I even caught him with the vision pool frozen on your naked body. I prepared these for you in advance. They add 10000 to defense and will not rip or tear. They are modeled after the clothes you normally wear."
[Defense]: 29250 -> 39250
As Kana put the clothes on, they form fitted to her body just right and did look like the clothes she preferred to wear: a leather strapless top and a pair of shorts. But when she put them on and thought about what Milie said, her face turned completely red. "He didn't watch me do that, did he!?"
"I am afraid he did..." Milie frowned as she answered.
"What are my chances of killing him or gouging his eyes out?" Kana asked. Her whole face was red, but her bloodlust was oozing out of her body. She wanted to kill all who saw! Only her Handsome Husband was allowed to look!
"Err… Let's just say it is best to forget about it. I just felt like you should be warned. I will do my best to keep him from peeking as I have been. Before he only got to see a few seconds of it before I stopped him." Melie felt bad, but she could only do so much.
Kana sighed and knew this was the case. She reached out and held Milie's hand. "Sister Milie, I will be counting on you!"
Milie smiled and gripped Kana's Hand, and nodded her head. "I am sure when you reach the realm, we are at one day we will be sisters. I believe Master plans to take you under his wing at that time. A few thousand years or so, and you should be able to make it. So from now on, you will be my little sister."
"Hehe, at that time, we can..." Kana cupped her hand over Milie's ear and began whispering. The two girls giggled and smiled at each other.
"We will have to do that." Milie waved her hand, making the barrier disappear, and right on the other side was Old Dan crouched down with his hand cupping his ear. "Master!"
