Chapter 758: Family Training Begins Part 1
"This… This…. What did she just do!?" Elder Ning's whole body shivered. He had never seen such a technique before. You could say that he was downright scared of the young girl. He felt that if he made even the slightest wrong move and angered her, he would end up like those mad mushrooms.
"Hmmm? Oh, she is the empress of all souls. The Ghost Empress. She can snatch your soul with a flick of a finger and turn it into her own power." Creige explained lightly. He then went on to say. "This is why the old man has limited her to only cultivating in the realm of souls in this world. Her abilities are not against this world's heavenly laws as all beings, no matter which universe they are from, can enter the land of the dead to be reincarnated."
"I-I see…." Elder Ning stumbled back a few steps but caught himself before he fell. His only thought at this time was to make sure he never angered Angelica.
"Well… for my first time seeing a battle on this world, my first impression is not very good." Creige frowned as he turned around and began walking back towards the house. Elder Ning could only force a smile and sigh. He to saw how incompetent his disciples were at this time.
"I will need to bring up a new training regiment class that everyone must undergo from now on within the sect." Elder Ning tapped his chin. And looked up at Creige's retreating back. He wanted to ask the man if he would be willing to help teach a battle tactics class, but as of now, he was only powerful for the time being. He would be looked down upon by the outer sect disciples if he were to stand in front of him with no or low cultivation. "I have to work something out. I will need to speak to the sect master about all of this….. Wait…. I forgot to message the sect master!"
Elder Ning took out a slip of paper and spoke into it before injecting his spiritual power into it and throwing it into the air. It turned into a stream of light and flew off into the distance.
On top of a mountain peak inside Moon Crest Academy, the sect master was sipping on a cup of spiritual tea when a small white crane floated in through the window.
"Mmm? Elder Ning?" The sect master held out his hand, letting the white crane land in his hand. "Sect master! It's urgent! We need a new immortal cave that is big enough for at least ten people. Kana's family is here. I can not express how urgent this is. Kana and her family are not people we can take lightly anymore. They are all watched over by the gods. A single one of her daughters can kill us with a flick of their fingers! We have to have a place for them to stay ready as soon as possible. I already promised the god who came with them that our sect will treat them well."
The sect master's brow furrowed. He was unsure if his old time friend had lost his mind or not, but he had never heard Elder Ning so panicked before. "I guess I should get one ready…. But where should I put them…." The sect master stroked his beard before setting his teacup down and standing up. "I guess I will have to take a stroll."
Back on Kana's side, she was having the time of her life. Her babies were all together, allowing her to have some quality mother daughters time with them. Each one was sharing their stories. "So Yana, where is this son of yours?"
"Little Cal said he wanted to go on a journey a few years back to find a way to break his curse so he could grow up." Yana's voice held a bit of reluctance in it. She missed the little guy's pouty face anytime she pulled him into a hug.
"Well, all children will one day run away from their parents." Kana pursed her lips, looking at her daughters.
"Mama, we didn't run away, we just had to go on a journey. If that old man didn't take you away from us, we would have come back to visit you." Rain said as she hugged Kana's waist.
"I know…." Kana pouted. She rubbed Rain's head and sighed. "I wish to see my grandbabies one day. I wonder if they will be alive when we finally return…." Kana sighed again as she thought of this. She had never seen her grandbabies and never got to be a grandmother to them. She felt left out of the loop.
"Even so, they all know all about you. They know how good of a mother you were to me and my sisters. You are the best mother in the entire universe." Rain said softly her words got confirmation from the others.
"Mmmm. Rain's words only speak the truth." Angelica nodded her head with her arms crossed across her chest.
"Well, from now on, we will do our best to not be separated again. So we must all work hard! I will be sure to become a top powerhouse on this planet just like I have in every plane I have visited." Yana's vow was for herself just as much as it was for her family. Every time she raised in level, she would always seek out strong foes in order to grow stronger herself. If she was not strong, she could never become the goddess of war.
"That we will!" Even Bell was willing to become strong. She wanted to finally be someone who could stand next to her mama and assist in times of danger instead of being protected.
The group of girls talked long into the night and spent as much time as they could together. On the morning of the fourth day, Bell, Tim, and Sara stood outside the house with the old man. "Bell, work hard. Mama will be waiting."
"Mmm… My children and I will be sure to return to your side, Mama." Bell hugged Kana tightly. She was reluctant to go. She had relied on Kana for so many, many years since she was a little girl. Her Mama has been her pillar. Without her, she would have been sold off or killed long ago.
"Since everyone is ready, I will send you on your way. Once you reach the core formation realm, I will send you back to Kana's side. I wish you luck in your training." The old man did not wait for any answers before sending them off. Bell, Sara, and Tim disappeared in a flash of light.
