It was mid morning of the next day that the spiritual qi in the area began to fluctuate. All the elders stepped forward and formed a circle in a certain area before stretching their hands out and sending the spiritual qi to the center of the circle.
Kana watched as a tear in space began to form. It was like looking through a window at what seemed like another world. She could see a blue sky and many trees. "Hmmm… Looks like things might be kind of interesting this time around."
After entering the mystic realm in the capital, Kana had high expectations for this one and hoped to once again get some luck. As she was pondering on what to do next, the elders all stopped channeling their spiritual qi as the gate became stable. Lord Yong waved his hand, and the thousand or so righteous path disciples all gathered together. Kana did not know how they all knew to gather, but she decided to follow the rest of the disciples from Moon Crest Academy. Two of whom kept looking at her. She felt no malice coming from them, so she could only think she might have something on her face which was making her feel subconscious.
"The mystic realm is now open. You all probably already know this, but you have only six months inside. If you do not exit within this amount of time, you will be locked inside until the mystic realm opens again. So keep this in mind. Now let's enter! Form a line." Lord Yong looked over at the devil sect cultivators and frowned slightly. There were a large number of them all looking over in Kana's direction.
As Kana waited her turn to enter the mystic realm, Lord Yong sent her a voice transmission. "Kana, it seems the devil sect cultivators are up to something. My guess is that that old bastard Hao Zhongqing gathered more to try to take you out. Be extra careful while inside. Luckily you will not all appear at the same location. It is random. Kill who you need to kill. I will take care of the rest when you return."
Kana glanced over at Lord Yong and nodded her head to show that she understood before jumping inside the water like window. Kana knew this time around, lots of blood was going to be shed. Whether it was devil sect cultivators killing the righteous path or the righteous path killing the righteous path, either way, human greed will never fail to rear its ugly head when something is coveted by many.
After a moment of bright white light, Kana found herself in a rocky area just outside a ling of dead trees. She couldn't help but frown because she got an ominous feeling from the area the dead trees were in.
"Oh? How lucky am I ? hahaha! Elder Hao asked us to kill you, and I landed in the same spot as you. I guess this is my lucky day. If I bring back your head, I wonder what kind of reward I will get?" A female voice floated over. Kana turned around to see a young woman around twenty five years old wearing a seductive black robe that showed off the huge mounds on her chest.
Seeing this, Kana couldn't help but pout as she flashed over to the young woman, raised her hand, and slapped them as hard as she could. "Don't point them at me!"
The young woman's face turned bright red as she stumbled backwards and covered her chest. She raised her head and glared at kana. But inwardly, she was highly embarrassed and shocked. No one had ever actually walked up to her and done such a thing. What was even scarier was that she didn't even see Kana move! Before she could react, Kana was already slapping her chest. 'Is she not supposed to be a peak qi condensation cultivator? Why can she move so fast that I, who am at the peak of foundation establishment, was not even able to see her move?'
The young woman couldn't keep the cold sweat on her back from forming. She suddenly realized she might not be able to handle this girl in front of her. Was gaining a few extra resources and praise worth her own life? No! No, it was not! But sadly, she still had her pride. She couldn't let Kana's slap go without at least getting the final word in. "Humph! I will let you live for today!"
Kana stared at the strange young woman who came, ranted about being lucky, and after getting her udders smacked, ran away. "Do I just need to slap everyone in their boobs?" Kana pursed her lips. She did not know if this was some kind of strange devil cultivator weakness. Like how kicking a man between the legs would render them useless for a little while.
After thinking about it for a minute, Kana shook her head, realizing her thoughts were crazy. "Well, either way, I should get moving." Kana moved to the west down the side of the strange dead forest holding to see if she could find a way around. She did not know what would happen if she entered the forest. Luckily she did not sense any demonic beasts anywhere.

Back at Moon Crest Academy, Yana had gotten bored of just sitting around and began walking around the sect. She could sense a person following her wherever she went, but she ignored them because they did not seem to have any ill intentions. She was having a fun time exploring everywhere until she accidentally bumped into one of the girls who was in a group walking by her. "Hey, you! You dare elbow me!?"
Yana stopped her steps and turned around, and looked at the young girl who looked around seventeen, maybe sixteen years of age. "Are you speaking to me?"
"Who else would I be talking to!? You dared to run into me!? Do you not know who I am!?" Now Yana was even more confused. Were people in this world really so dumb as to try to say, 'do you know who I am?'
When has she had time to meet anyone in the sect? This was her first time even walking around! But that did not change the fact that the girl in front of her sent killing intent towards her which made her eyes grow cold. "Who you are? " Yana asked softly before pausing and continuing: "What is the point of learning someone's name when they are about to die?"
