Chapter 102: Ceilie's Departure
A week passed, and during this time, Kana spent as much time as she could with Ceilie. Even when sleeping, they were together. Creige went about his own thing and even made a forge out of one of the buildings on the estate to forge weapons. He did not want to disturb the girls' time together before Ceilie was to leave.
But unfortunately, all good times do come to an end. The time had come for Ceilie to take her to leave and start her journey. She did not know what to expect on this journey, but she did know one thing was for sure, she would make sure to come back in five years as a new person. Someone strong enough to stand by Kana's side.
Kana had tears in her eyes as she hugged Ceilie rubbing her face back and forth in her chest. "Remember… Five years. No matter what, you must make it back here within five years."
"I will, I promised I would, so I will." Ceilie had tears running down her cheeks. She hugged Kana tightly, not wanting to let go. After being alone for so long, she had finally found a new place where she belonged, and now she had to leave once again. "Kana, if you do not let go, I will not be able to leave."
Kana pouted her bottom lip as she finally released Ceilie from her embrace. "Be careful on your journey. If something happens..."
Kana began tearing up again when a deep melodic voice came from behind her. "Don't worry. I have something that she can use to save her life. But it only has five uses." Creige came up with a metal bow and with a bunch of arrows in a quiver. He also had a small short sword in his other hand. "The bow is made of windight ore, and arrows are all made of flamight ore. The arrows will instantly ignite on fire as you shoot as long as you send a bit of magic into them. As for the bow, it will accelerate the arrows making them ten times faster than before. Now, this short sword is much more than just a weapon. I used some dark ore in order to make it. Dark ore has space-time properties. The five gems embedded into it are inscribed with a teleportation spell. If things get out of hand and you are close to death, then send some magic into one of the stones to activate the teleportation spell. It will send you back here. As for the large gem on the end, it is a binding gem, drip a drop of blood onto the gem, and it will bind the weapon to you. After that, it will be a part of you, like an extension of your body. If you drop it, it will automatically return to your hand within five seconds. The same will happen even if someone takes the weapon from you. Also, no one else will be able to activate the spells on the sword either."
"Creige, is this what you have been working on since the other day?" Ceilie asked. She was really touched by how much thought Creige put into these weapons.
"Mmm… Kana will worry about you either way. But if you were to die out there, she would be heartbroken. I do not wish for her to ever be sad." Creige bluntly said.
Ceilie really did not know whether to laugh or cry. She did not know if she should feel lucky that Kana and Creige were married or not. He had only made these weapons for her so that Kana would not be sad! "Well, I do not want her to be sad either, so thank you very much brother in law."
"Mmm… If you truly wish to train, I would head to Pleqoth. It is a very dangerous land, but the experience you will gain from fighting there is more than you could receive anywhere else. But only go there once you reach your third evolution, or you will surely die." Creige knew that roaming around here will only get her so far. She needed to experience many life and death situations in order to form a fighting style that suited her abilities the best. He knew, unlike Kana, who was simply overpowered, that this was the best method for Ceilie.
"I will do that then. Speaking of evolutions, Kana, you should be able to evolve by now, right?" Ceilie just remembered that Kana must have racked up a tone of points by now.
"Mmm… But I haven't looked at it yet. I may need a bunch of things in order to evolve first. As you know, my system is different from others." Kana had not even taken a look at the evolution choices just yet nor the items she would need in order to evolve. She just hoped they would not be hard to find.
"That's right too, I forgot about that. Then take your time and choose wisely. Make sure you choose what is best for you." Ceilie smiled and nodded her head. "I will be off. If I stay any longer, I will not want to leave anymore. I will see you both in five years. Creige, I leave Kana in your hands. Make sure you don't make any babies before I come back."
"Mmm… I will protect her with my life." Creige replied, ignoring the latter part of her sentence. As he saw it, Kana would need at least two more evolutions before she was even near being ready to be doing such things.
"Then I am off!" Ceilie turned around and began the start of her new journey.
"Ceilie, bye-bye!" Kana yelled out as she watched Ceilie's departing back. Ceilie faintly smiled but did not turn around. She had tears in her eyes. She raised her left hand and waved before deciding to run at full speed towards the forest.
"She's gone…" Kana watched as Ceilie disappeared. Creige placed his big palm on her head, running his fingers through her hair. Kana leaned her head on him and hugged his waist. She was sad Ceilie was leaving, but she knew this was the path Ceilie had chosen. "Let's go in. I want to check out my evolution choices."
