After lots of effort and time, Austin had finally managed to kill Bartholomew. In a way, he hadn't been
expecting it. After all, Bartholomew had been a powerful figure in the Time Chamber Sect and had
intimidated the whole Absolute Space Sea.
Currently, the Ninth Floor was having large amounts of blood dumped on it from the heavens.
Countless cries filled the air.
The death of a god of chaos always caused strange phenomena between heaven and earth. In
Bartholomew's case, he had managed the Ninth Floor for a long time and deeply engraved all the laws
he had comprehended into the space sea of the Ninth Floor. Now that he had passed on, they would
stop working and cause glitches in the environment.
Shortly following this, all of Bartholomew's Spiritual Tablets that were located in the countless cosmos,
stars, and worlds within the Ninth Floor exploded one at a time.
The races and forces that lived there cried and howled towards the sky.
The Ninth Floor was a relatively large space sea that contained many big and small worlds. Throughout
all of them, the forces and races had mostly worshiped Bartholomew.
In short, Bartholomew had been the main belief and spiritual pillar for all the creatures in the space sea
of the Ninth Floor.
Now that their spiritual pillar had collapsed, the races had to stand in its dust and mourn.
"I can't believe someone killed Master Bartholomew!"
"We're doomed. Our Ninth Floor is doomed!"
Over the next few hours, loud cries and screams of anguish reached every corner.
Meanwhile,
in the headquarters of the Time Chamber Sect, a discussion was taking place.
In a hidden space far on the inside, four senior leaders were sitting cross-legged, facing each other.
"Do you remember what we heard about the man from the ghost race?
The rumors all seem to be true!"
one of the senior leaders exclaimed, sighing deeply.
"Yes.
His power is beyond my imagination.
Even if the four of us were to fight him together, it would still be difficult for us to defeat him,"
another senior leader said, nodding his head.
"But we did manage to escape him.
In the future, if we avoid that dangerous space, I don't think we will be likely to meet that man from the
ghost race again,"
a senior leader suggested.
"He's right. It is said that that man from the ghost race is currently being held in that space and time by
the senior master of the fire source beast race.
So, I guess we can't underestimate the strength of the old man of the fire source beast race either,"
another senior leader chimed in.
"As long as the old man of the fire source beast race can keep the man from the ghost race trapped in
that space and time, we don't need to be afraid of him coming here or anywhere else in the Absolute
Space Sea,"
a senior leader said.
"Yes, you are right."
The other three senior leaders all nodded in agreement.
For a short time after the four of them had escaped from that space and time, they had been constantly
worrying that the man from the ghost race would come to the Time Chamber Sect to finish what he had
started.
Later, once they had recalled everything that had happened in great detail, they finally realized that the
man from the ghost race was stuck in that space and time and that the senior master of the fire source
beast race held him there.
Otherwise, the man from the ghost race would have already left that space and time long ago.
"It's a good thing we were able to escape!"
As they recalled their moments spent in that space and time, the four senior leaders still felt lingering
fear.
"Recently, our Time Chamber Sect has been developing well.
Our strength improves every day. Now, we're not much weaker than the darkness race,"
a senior leader pointed out, changing the topic.
"No!
It seems that way on the surface,
but don't forget that the real top master of the darkness race is Yahir, not the three Lords of Darkness.
Do you think the four of us are as strong as Yahir?"
another senior leader exclaimed, shaking his head.
Just the sound of Yahir's name
sent the other three senior leaders into a long silence.
"No, our combined strength does not compare to Yahir's,"
a senior leader finally said, sighing heavily.
"You don't sound very certain about that. It's absolutely impossible for us to compare ourselves to
Yahir!"
the previous senior leader said affirmatively.
"Our Time Chamber Sect has made some progress, but we can't act conceited.
And, of course, we can't provoke the darkness race.
As long as Yahir lives, our Time Chamber Sect will not be able to bring him down,"
the senior leader continued.
"Yes, you are right."
The other three senior leaders were silent for a moment but then they all nodded in agreement.
"But if the four of us work hard, our strength will reach Yahir's level one day!
After all, he is old and we are in our prime!"
the senior leader added.
"Yes!
From now on, the four of us have to work hard on our cultivation!"
the other three senior leaders said at the same time, finally perking up a bit.
Then,
one of their faces dropped. He was holding a Contact Jade Slip in his hand.
"What?" When he finished reading the information in the jade slip,
his face looked even more grave.
"What happened?"
the other three senior leaders asked, staring at him with anxious eyes.
"Bartholomew sent us a message asking for help. Someone had broken into the Ninth Floor and
attacked him,"
the senior leader answered in a low voice.
"What? Someone broke into the Ninth Floor?
Who was it?
The Ninth Floor is a part of our Time Chamber Sect's territory. Anyone who messes with us deserves
death!
Not even the darkness race is foolish enough to provoke us outright!"
As they waited to find out who had done it, the other three senior leaders felt fury fill them.
"It's Austin and the underage fire source beast. The two of them got into the Ninth Floor and attacked
Bartholomew together!"
the senior leader who had received the message announced.
"What?
It's Austin and the fire source beast?
That's impossible!
Aren't they trapped in that space and time by the man from the ghost race?
How did they escape?"
Shock and confusion clouded the minds of the senior leaders of the Time Chamber Sect.
"That man from the ghost race is strong. How could two young things like the fire source beast and
Austin manage to escape?"
one of the senior leaders wondered.
"It doesn't matter how. Now the Ninth Floor is in danger. We have to go there to help Bartholomew
before it's too late,"
another senior leader said.
"That's right.
The most important thing is saving Bartholomew!"
the other three senior leaders said, nodding their heads.
So, without any more delay, they set off towards the Ninth Floor.
Boom!
The sound they made as they left the headquarters of the Time Chamber Sect and used their bodily
movement skills echoed in the air behind them.
As they traveled, the four senior leaders sent messages to the other senior members of the Time
Chamber Sect using their spiritual sense, asking the ones closest to the Ninth Floor to immediately
bring more members of the Time Chamber Sect to help Bartholomew.
Suddenly,
the Absolute Space Sea was filled with members of the Time Chamber Sect marching towards the
Ninth Floor.
In the meantime,
Austin and the fire source beast were still in the Ninth Floor.
"No way! I didn't think that Bartholomew was this rich!
He must have gotten his wealth from being the leader of the Ninth Floor of the Time Chamber Sect.
Now, what he had painstakingly accumulated in his life is going to fall into my hands!"
Austin and the fire source beast were busy searching for treasures in the Ninth Floor, and so far, they
had found plenty.
