"Brat!
Don't go too far. Supreme Grandmaster Donovan wouldn't let you go if he knew what you have done.
We will retreat and leave you be.
Just make sure that you won't push too far. Otherwise, I will send the message back to Supreme
Grandmaster Donovan right away. He will definitely teach you a lesson,"
one of the governing gods warned. He swallowed the lump forming in his throat, nervous that Austin
might do something out of the ordinary.
"Hear me out, because I will say it one last time. I want everyone in the Blade Cosmos to kneel before
me.
If you don't, I will kill all of you.
I will spare no survivors. Don't threaten me with your so-called Supreme Grandmaster Donovan. His
existence is insignificant to me. Even if he does not show up today, I'll be the one to personally give him
a visit,"
Austin smugly declared.
His voice sounded authoritative. He didn't heed any warnings or pleas from the governing gods,
because Donovan was nothing in his eyes.
Why should he? With his current strength, Austin did not have to be afraid of him anymore.
For the past hundred years, Austin had used his time wisely. His progress was tremendous―especially
after he cultivated the Reincarnation Sword Skill.
There was a certain air of confidence and eloquence around him. At this level, he was sure that he
would win over Donovan if they were to clash now.
Now that the people of the Blade Cosmos invaded the Sword Cosmos again, Austin was intending to
wipe out their entire army in front of him first. After that, he would go to the Blade Cosmos to destroy
Donovan once and for all―it was about time that they face each other.
Austin knew that if he did not end things right here and now, the Blade Cosmos army would eventually
return to ruin the Sword Cosmos once again.
Hence, the only way to end this vicious cycle was to kill Donovan.
"How dare you! Don't disrespect our Supreme Grandmaster Donovan! You're digging your own grave,
you brat!
There's no denying it―you are powerful. But compared to our Supreme Grandmaster Donovan, you
would be nothing. You can never imagine how powerful he really is.
If you are truly wise, you will let us go as soon as possible. Once you do so, I can put in a good word
for you in front of Supreme Grandmaster Donovan. Maybe he will be merciful around you and let you
go.
Otherwise, I'm sure you'll suffer a gruesome death.
So if I were you, I wouldn't badmouth Supreme Grandmaster Donovan in our midst!"
"Yes, he's right. Supreme Grandmaster Donovan holds a high status. He's not someone a lowly man
like you can desecrate!
It would literally save you to kowtow and apologize now!"
The governing gods of the Blade Cosmos gave accusatory remarks. They couldn't stand Austin's
audacity―they all thought he was too arrogant for his own good. They cursed him and threw insults
and jeers.
It was obvious that they held Donovan in a high regard. After all, he had a supreme position in the
Blade Cosmos.
They would not allow anyone to trample over his authority. For them, it was blasphemy.
Hearing Austin speak ill of him made their blood boil.
"I have nothing else to say. I am not apologizing for all the things I said," Austin said listlessly. Then, his
gaze turned serious and dark. "I meant every word I said. I'm going to annihilate the entire Blade
Cosmos―that meant taking down Donovan with it!"
Then, with a wave of his hand, he gave an order to his subordinates.
"Kill them!"
The three hundred reincarnation slaves beside Austin immediately sped towards the enemy.
"Our master ordered us to kill the enemy!"
Next, the divine gods enslaved by Austin followed suit. They screamed their batteries and joined the
rest of Austin's team.
"Mr. Lin gave the order. We'll take action too. Don't wait any longer!"
The other creatures of the Sword Cosmos also started to attack. They rushed towards the army of the
Blade Cosmos like enraged tigers.
Austin's battalion was comprised with countless of powerful individuals―the force it brought was
terrifying. As soon as the fight commenced, the Blade Cosmos had already suffered numerous
casualties.
They couldn't fight back at all!
They were faced with three hundred governing gods. The energy erupted when they fought together
was too terrifying.
Although the Blade Cosmos had many people in their army, they were like a group of little goats
surrounded by three hundred fierce tigers. They were slaughtered mercilessly, like prey hunted by the
predators. They were entirely helpless!
"Kill all of them! We will spare no one! The army of the Blade Cosmos has pillaged and plundered us
numerous times already! We don't have to be merciful around them,"
Austin urged calmly.
Then, he stood aside with his hands clasped behind his back, allowing the massacre to unfold before
his eyes.
"Spare some of them though, so we could figure out how these bastards entered the Sword Cosmos
this time.
Then, I will enter the Blade Cosmos the same way they did so I can exact my revenge on Donovan."
Austin sent a message to his slaves through his spiritual sense.
"Understood, master. Rest assured we will keep a few valuable ones alive,"
the reincarnation slaves replied.
The violent war continued.
Austin was yet to make a move. He simply remained in his position, calm and collected, watching the
scene with great interest.
He was bereft of any sympathy. The Blade Cosmos had caused too much trouble for the Sword
Cosmos for him to spare them any mercy. Killing and death happened every day, every minute, and
every second in the world of warriors.
This was their reality, a survival of the fittest. The martial world was harsh and brutal, but this was how
things were for them. Either you emerged strong, or you perished with the weak.
Austin had grown from a weak disciple to such a powerful warrior today. He had long been
desensitized to all the blood and gore.
He felt no remorse. He had seen this happen far too many times for him to feel anything.
This was the mentality every strong warrior should have. This world was not for the weak of heart.
It took them half a day to completely annihilate the Blade Cosmos.
However, due to Austin's order, more than ten governing gods of the Blade Cosmos were left alive and
brought to Austin.
When they were presented in front of Austin, they were trembling in fear.
For them, Austin was nothing but a cold and heartless demon.
"Now, tell me how you entered the Sword Cosmos.
Tell me the truth.
If I'm in a better mood, you can leave you unscathed,"
Austin offered.
However, one of the governing gods shrugged off Austin's proposal and merely snapped at him,
"You killed so many people in our Blade Cosmos, you fucking brat. Supreme Grandmaster Donovan
will never let you go!" he cursed, unwilling to bend.
However, as soon as he finished his sentence,
Austin punched him square in the face.
Bang!
The governing god exploded on the spot. His physical body and spiritual soul were smashed into
pieces.
"You are ruthless, you brat!"
the governing god screamed in pain.
Then, the broken parts of his body began to reconstruct.
Killing governing gods was not easy. It would take more than that.
"Is it possible that you can reconstruct your body in front of me?"
Austin gave him a faint smile.
He pointed his finger at the air.
Immediately, thousands of law chains came out of the void and extended to the governing god.
The countless law chains crazily destroyed his flesh and spiritual soul again and again, preventing him
from reconstructing.
"Ahhhh!"
The governing god tried his best to reconstruct his body, using all his theurgies and original divine
energy, but he found that he could not reconstruct his body anymore.
The stench of death started to envelop him.
He was terrified!
The young man in front of him scared him to bits. He couldn't even reconstruct himself.
In this way, under the interference of the law chains, the governing god could not make his body whole
once more!
He had been screaming in that void all the time. The terrible cries had spread throughout the entire
Sword Cosmos!
The creatures of the Sword Cosmos were impervious to the cries of pain. It didn't faze them at all. In
fact, they were all elated that these invaders from the Blade Cosmos were getting what they deserved.
The screams of the enemy was music to their ears!
