"Ha-ha! I don't mean to belittle you, but I have to say this. Compared to this master beside me, your
swordsmanship is trash.
The gap between your sword skills is like heaven and earth!" the chaotic sky-devouring beast said as
he glanced at Austin.
Upon hearing this, Austin wasn't able to hold back his laughter.
However, the chaotic sky-devouring beast was just actually telling the truth. The young man in front of
him might have the skills but if he was to be compared with a marvelous sword cultivator like Austin, he
would definitely look like a piece of rubbish. In fact, his sword moves wouldn't be able to harm Austin
one bit.
But when the young man heard the comments of the chaotic sky-devouring beast, his eyes flashed with
thrill instead of embarrassment.
He was a fervent swordsman, and all his life, he had only dedicated his time to cultivating his sword
skills. In other words, swordsmanship meant the whole world to him.
He was so obsessed with swordsmanship that he even engraved the sword moves that he had come
up in his own bedroom and warship, studying them day and night. He was very diligent, seizing every
chance he had to improve his skills.
That was why at such a young age, he was already able to reach a significant level in the field of
swordsmanship.
"Sir!"
The young man's eyes appeared to shine with expectation and excitement as he looked intently at
Austin.
It was as if he had finally seen someone that he had been looking for all this time.
Then, out of nowhere, he knelt in front of Austin, kowtowed several times, and said with all sincerity,
"Sir, it would be my greatest pleasure if you could give me some advice regarding my sword skills.
Swordsmanship is more important to me than anything else. It is my life-long passion, and this is all
that I have."
"I can tell that you really are keen on your swordsmanship. I like people who give it their all in improving
themselves while learning how to accept criticisms from others. In this case, I won't mind giving you
some helpful advice," Austin said after thinking for a while.
This young man had obtained his trust, and thus he wanted to help him enhance his skills.
Then, he started waving his hand.
In no time, several sword marks appeared on the walls of the ship, and each of them released a dense
sword intent.
At his current level of swordsmanship, every sword light that Austin unleashed contained brilliant laws
of swordsmanship.
In fact, even when he was performing the most basic sword skill, his strike would undoubtedly carry a
very deadly and powerful sword intent.
"This is what you're going to do. Spend your time comprehending all these marks on the wall. The
moment you mastered all of them, it means that your sword skills have already improved at least a
thousand times.
This shall be my gift to you. Treasure them well," Austin said with a faint smile.
Seeing this, the young man stared at the marks on the wall with extreme fervor.
Actually, he didn't clearly hear everything that Austin said. His attention was so focused on the marks
that his other senses had lost track of what was happening around him.
"I like this guy's determination and enthusiasm. He's got a lot of potential at such a young age. I'm sure
that he will go a long way and will become an excellent swordsman,"
Austin murmured to himself as he thoroughly gauged the young man's prowess.
After examining these sword marks, the young man wasted no time and began to comprehend them.
Then, sword lights constantly shot out from his hands.
"Ha-ha! I got it!"
The young man could be heard exclaiming from time to time.
His perseverance was fascinating. In just a short time, he was able to master a few of the sword marks.
At this rate, he was making great progress already.
At the same time, while he concentrated on comprehending the marks, Austin and the chaotic sky-
devouring beast took the time to eat the spiritual fruits and drink the spiritual wine leisurely.
After about half a day, the young man stopped working on the marks for a brief moment.
With excitement written all over his face, he instantly went before Austin and kowtowed repeatedly.
However, Austin didn't feel guilty receiving this kind of treatment. After all, he had helped the young
man with his sword skills.
"It's a great pleasure to meet you, master! From now on, I'm your humble disciple!"
the young man Donny said as he still bowed his head on the ground.
"Hey, I just gave you a little advice.
I'm not your master," Austin said quite sternly.
"Sir, with all due respect, you have taught me all these brilliant sword skills. In such a short time, my
sword skills have increased greatly. I haven't found someone as generous as you.
I won't blame you if you think that I'm not qualified to be your disciple. However, since I've learned a lot
of things from you, I've decided to regard you as my master.
Please let me do so," the young man said earnestly.
"Whatever.
Do as you want," Austin replied.
"But since you are so sincere, I don't mind giving you another gift. Just think of it as a little extra,"
Austin added.
Then, with a wave of his hand, a sword light suddenly surged out from his fingertip and directly shot
towards the young man's Soul Sea.
As he received the sword light, Donny's body slightly trembled because of his strong emotions.
This beam of sword light contained some of Austin's past insights regarding swordsmanship. For
someone like Donny, who had dedicated his entire life to swordsmanship, this could be considered a
priceless treasure.
"Master! I can't thank you enough for all this!"
the young man shouted vivaciously as his hands and forehead continued to touch the ground.
"All right. All right. Get up from there," Austin said as he quickly instructed the young man to stand.
Donny had not yet commanded his body to stand, but his body already moved on its own. For a
moment, he had lost control of his body because Austin controlled him.
After about two days' worth of journey, the Empyreal City had already come into their view.
"Master, you can see the Empyreal City from here,"
Donny told Austin as he pointed at the space directly in front of them.
Immediately after, Austin used his spiritual sense to perceive the chaotic void ahead of them.
Eventually, he spotted a huge city that was floating at the center of the void.
This city was so enormous that its entire area should be at least equal to ten cosmoses.
Austin had also taken this chance to check the strength of the creatures residing in this city. From what
he sensed, it seemed that the creatures were absolutely powerful, meaning that the Empyreal City
shouldn't be something to be underestimated.
In hindsight, it wasn't much of a surprise that the city was powerful. After all, its leader was a peerless
governing god.
"Master, the city is now right before our eyes. What are your plans?"
Donny asked as he turned towards Austin.
"Well, why don't we go directly inside and find the person who is in charge?"
Austin answered after thinking for a moment.
"All right.
We'll get in as soon as possible," Donny responded.
Since he was a self-declared disciple of Austin, he did whatever the latter said, following the orders
given to him unconditionally.
Thus, at this point, Donny, Austin, and the chaotic sky-devouring beast entered the city without any
hesitation. As they entered, Donnie took the two to where the leader lived.
Then, as soon as the three of them arrived at their destination, dozens of ordinary divine gods suddenly
showed up and blocked them from advancing further.
"Stay where you are! Further ahead is the residence of our leader. No outsider is allowed to approach it
without permission.
Anyone who dares to break in shall be instantly sentenced to death!"
"Humph! Do I look like I care? Get the hell out of my way!" Austin sneered.
Then, with a wave of his sleeve, a terrifying energy and law power suddenly appeared and sent all of
the ordinary divine gods flying backward. In the blink of an eye, they disappeared into the distance
Seeing how Austin managed to defeat several divine gods without even exerting any effort, Donny was
absolutely in awe of his master's strength.
Without no one to hinder them, the three of them steadily walked into the leader's residence.
However, soon enough, a team of creatures on patrol quickly spotted them. "Bastards! Who are you?
Did you get permission from our leader for you to roam around like this?"
The leader of the patrol team instantly grew suspicious about the three of them, thus he wanted to
make sure if they had obtained the permission first.
"We don't need it. Tell your leader to get his ass over here right now,"
Austin said with a straight face as he placed his hands behind his back.
Upon hearing what Austin said, the leader of the team flew into a rage. He could only act like this
because he couldn't perceive Austin's true strength. After all, he was just a genuine medium-grade
divine god.
"How dare you insult our supreme leader?!
What are you waiting for? Arrest this arrogant bastard and torture him inside the prison!" the team
leader immediately ordered his men.
Hearing this, his team, which was comprised of ordinary divine gods, dashed towards Austin, as well as
his companions.
However, before they could even approach them, the chaotic sky-devouring beast opened his mouth.
"Ha! Stay the hell away, weaklings!"
Then, he released a ferocious energy that instantly gushed and sent the divine gods away.
