"A long time ago, I met with Pastor. I never expected to meet his disciple today.
Young man, if you give the token and other treasures to me now, I won't make things difficult for you.
Once I have them, I will put a spiritual restriction in your spiritual soul. Then you can join our sect and
work for us. This is the only way I won't kill you,"
the middle-aged man said as he looked at Austin.
"Boy, did you hear that? Hand over the Magical Polarity Token and Pastor's other treasures,"
one of the elders of the Occult Palace ordered.
'Hold on. He isn't a real god of chaos! This guy is just an avatar of the god of chaos!'
Austin realized as he activated his spiritual sense.
The middle-aged man was still very powerful, but not as powerful as a full blown god of chaos.
At another time, Austin and the chaotic sky-devouring beast had felt the aura of a real god of chaos
and this wasn't the same.
"He's only a god of chaos' avatar so don't be afraid. I will use the teleportation rune left by my master.
With it, we can escape so well that not even the real gods of chaos can track us down.
We are getting out of here,"
Austin told the chaotic sky-devouring beast and the leader of the Reincarnation Palace through his
spiritual sense.
This whole time, Ravi had been smiling at Austin. Now, he laughed. "Austin, I think I remember you
said that you had a way to escape from the Occult Palace.
I'd like to see you try,"
Ravi taunted.
"The promise I made is still on the table. Consider it carefully,"
Ravi said as he turned to look at the leader of the Reincarnation Palace.
"Just stop. I don't want anything to do with you," the leader of the Reincarnation Palace said
indifferently.
At that moment, she was so disgusted by Ravi that she felt uncomfortable simply speaking to him.
"Fine! You had your chance but you wasted it. You will regret this!"
Ravi snapped as his face darkened.
"You traitor!
I'll be back for you,"
Austin threatened as he glared at Ravi.
"Wait. You think you're leaving?"
Ravi asked, laughing as if Austin had told him a hilarious joke.
"Get close to me!"
Austin told the chaotic sky-devouring beast and the leader of the Reincarnation Palace through his
spiritual sense.
The two of them were already close but when they heard his order, they got shoulder to shoulder with
him.
Without any hesitation, Austin activated the teleportation rune in his hand.
It was one of the teleportation rune papers left to him by Pastor.
Within seconds, a terrifying spatial teleportation energy appeared and enveloped Austin, the chaotic
sky-devouring beast, and the leader of the Reincarnation Palace.
In an instant, it tore apart the space and teleported them away.
The moment Austin had activated the teleportation rune, the middle-aged man felt it.
"Do you think you can teleport?"
the middle-aged man asked, looking very confident.
As he spoke, he stretched out his hand and it quickly grew larger. When it was the size of a giant's, he
clenched his fist and locked down the space where Austin was.
However, the energy that had been released by the teleportation rune had already gotten Austin, the
chaotic sky-devouring beast, and the leader of the Reincarnation Palace far away from there.
The space and time laws the middle-aged man had unleashed failed to stop Austin and his
companions from fleeing.
Faster than they could breathe, they were gone.
The middle-aged man couldn't hide the shock from his face.
"No! It's not possible!"
He turned and immediately used his spiritual sense to search for Austin and his companions.
However, there wasn't a trace of them.
'What the hell is going on? A teleportation rune can't teleport someone away from me,'
the middle-aged man thought to himself as his face turned livid.
With newfound anger, he extended his spiritual sense to the Occult Palace and other places. He
stretched it as far as he could.
But his efforts were in vain. He still couldn't find any sign of them.
"It can't be!"
Ravi, the elders, and other members of the Occult Palace couldn't believe what they had just
witnessed.
They had been confident that they could hold Austin and his companions, but in a blink of an eye, they
were nowhere to be seen.
It didn't make any sense.
'I don't get it.
He really did have a way of escaping from the Occult Palace,
even in front of a god of chaos. No, I don't believe it.
It can't be true!'
Ravi thought, shaking his head.
Meanwhile, Austin, the chaotic sky-devouring beast, and the leader of the Reincarnation Palace
appeared far away from the Cliff Chaotic Sea.
Austin released his spiritual sense to examine his surroundings and discovered that they had exited the
Occult Palace.
"We made it!"
'The teleportation rune paper my master left worked.
I actually escaped from a god of chaos.
It might have been just an avatar of the god of chaos, but even that is difficult,'
Austin thought to himself.
"It looks like we've got out of the Cliff Chaotic Sea,"
the chaotic sky-devouring beast said as he heaved a sigh of relief.
The leader of the Reincarnation Palace smiled and looked around.
"Great!
We did it!" she exclaimed cheerfully.
"Austin, you are awesome!
You managed to get us away from a god of chaos,"
she continued as she smiled at Austin with admiration.
'Ravi is awful.
I can't believe he sold us out.'
Austin bared his teeth and clenched his fists.
'Because of him, a god of chaos came to us, and we almost failed to get away.
The good thing is that it was just a god of chaos' avatar. If that god of chaos had come to us in person,
we might have been trapped.
After all, a god of chaos is way, way stronger than us,' he thought with a frown.
"This traitor must be eliminated.
Otherwise, he might run into other successors of the reincarnation race and hurt them too,"
Austin said after thinking for a while.
