Austin unleashed his spiritual sense to look for creatures but found nothing.

No light, air, energy, nor laws could be sensed within the shadows.

Trillions of miles were filled with nothing but thick clouds of the dark shadows.

Its vastness was nearly dizzying.

If he had to compare, the area that the shadows covered was larger than ten dozen universe
communities.

A deafeningly silent and desolate air filled the area.

Only specks of dust and meteorite fragments aimlessly floated in the air.

After traveling through the shadows for a while, Austin couldn't help but be on his guard.

'Wait. Something's wrong.

I feel like I'm being watched.'

Austin frowned.

By then, he arrived at a secret place within the shadows.

"Ha-ha! A human came!"

"This is going to be interesting. It looks like he's very young.

Yet he made it here. Lady Luck must be smiling down on him!"

"Take him here and let's play with him.

We have nothing to do anyway. It's so boring."



Some creatures discussed with one another through their spiritual sense.

All of them were cloaked by the shadows, their eyes fixed on Austin.

Austin concluded as goosebumps broke across his skin.

'Perfect!

I've been here for so long; now I finally meet some living beings.

They must be creatures of the isolated alien spaces!

I finally got here!'

Instead of feeling scared, Austin couldn't help but be excited.

After so long, there were finally living beings close to him.

"Let's do it. Let's take him alive and ask him how he got here."

Once they reached an agreement, the small shadows with different shapes sneaked up to Austin's
airship.

Thanks to his powerful spiritual sense, Austin managed to immediately spot the approaching shadows.

"Perfect. I can't wait to meet you!"

Austin's lips pulled into a wide smile.

In the next moment, he tucked his hands behind his back and stepped out of the airship.



"Look at this young man's boldness. I can't believe he just walked out like that."

"Humph! If he stayed in the airship, it would've been more difficult to take him prisoner.

Yet he came out.

It's a good thing for us though."

Some living beings secretly chattered with each other from where they were hiding in the shadows.

Meanwhile Austin was just standing in the dark space with his hands behind his back.

"Stop hiding. Come out.

I know you're here."

Austin sneered as he narrowed his eyes on the shadows approaching him.

"This isn't good. He spotted us already."

"In that case, there's no need to hide any longer."

All the creatures in the shadows couldn't help but be surprised that Austin discovered them.

Numerous small shadows suddenly gathered together and formed a tide.

When the tide of shadows surged, it looked nothing less than terrifying.

In the next moment, Austin ended up surrounded by shadow tides that flooded over a vast area.

"Ha-ha! Human boy, we're from the shadow race. You dare break into our territory? You're courting
death.



Surrender!"

Wild laughter rang out around Austin.

'Oh, they come from the shadow race?

Now that I think about it, there is that weird race in the isolated alien spaces.

I didn't think that I'd accidentally break into their territory, '

Austin thought to himself.

While he was immersed in his thought, a big hand made from shadows tried to grab him.

"You're just a mere member of the shadow race. How dare you put on airs in front of me?"

Austin dismissively sneered.

Using his mind, Austin unleashed powerful sword auras.

In the blink of an eye, the big hand made of shadows was instantly torn and crushed to dust.

"Ha-ha! Young man, you're too naive.

Your swordsmanship is impressive.

However, we're harder to deal with than you could imagine."

Although the hand was turned into dust, all its pieces began to gather together again. A shocked Austin
unleashed his spiritual sense to check it and discovered that it wasn't harmed at all.



"This human brat has tricks up his sleeve. I guess I can't catch him myself.

Let's do it together,"

the shadow creature decided.

"Understood. Let's go get him.

This young man's swordsmanship is outstanding.

We can use it for practice,"

a different voice replied.

Heartbroken cries rang out in the area, goosebumps blooming all over Austin's body.

Energy and law power that took a toll on the spiritual soul filled the sound. If weak creatures heard it,
they would instantly break down.

However, it didn't have a hint of effect on Austin because of the strong spiritual sense he possessed.

"Since you want to play, I'll use you to try my new sword skills."

Not a hint of worry could be found in Austin's calm smile.

Although these shadow creatures were rather odd, he wasn't scared of them at all.

No matter what trump card they pulled out, Austin was confident that the members of the show race
couldn't be a threat to him.

In the Sea of Chaos, no one but the governing god could injure him.



Since semi-governing gods didn't pose a threat to him, all the members of the shadow race didn't even
deserve to be mentioned.

Once Austin concentrated, thousands of sharp sword auras came out of his body and slashed at the
creatures in the shadows.

As he stood under the shining sword-lights, his hands remained tucked behind his back. Every inch of
him looked composed and unruffled by the battle.

Powerful sword-light cut through the shadows and chopped them into pieces.

However, the shadows would return to their original state soon after they were torn into shreds.

However, Austin released so much sword-lights and each moved so quickly that they tore the shadows
dozens of times in a single heartbeat.

"Damn it! This guy's sword skill is way too powerful.

He cut me into bits dozens of times.

If it drags on like this, I'll run out of energy essence and lose my life!"

"I can't hold on any longer. I'm dying!"

"Run!"

Sounds of distress filled the air in the next second.
