Austin killed the old lady without breaking a sweat. There was no hesitation or remorse in his eyes. It
looked like he'd merely broken a stick in half!
And from his demeanor, one could tell that it was easy for him even though she was a semi-governing
god.
Princess Esther felt a chill of fear creep up on her spine. The man had just killed her master without
hesitation.
The smile on Austin's face seemed more devilish than anything she'd ever known.
Princess Esther hadn't expected her prey to be such a cold-blooded killer, who would take her master's
life!
She regretted her actions now.
"What's going on with these people?"
Austin turned towards her with the same smile, pointing at the thousands of handsome men who were
sitting in the corner.
As he walked close to Princess Esther, an incredibly attractive fragrance crept up his nose.
He could feel that it was coming from Princess Esther. The girls of the elf race emitted unique, enticing
scents, which could be considered a sort of seduction mechanism.
"They... they..."
Princess Esther looked a little guilty while referring to those men.
They looked rather weak and their faces had gone extremely pale.
It was obvious that the old lady had somehow absorbed their energy to strengthen her own abilities.
Princess Esther felt guilty because it had been her job to lure these men here.
This was also the reason Austin had killed the old lady without hesitation. If he'd let her live, she was
sure to hurt more men for her own selfish needs.
"You... What on earth do you want from me?"
Princess Esther asked in panic as Austin came closer. She could clearly feel his breath on her face and
it was sending waves of fear all over her body.
"I want you to answer my questions truthfully; otherwise even I don't know what dreadful things await
you."
The evil smile was back on his face. It was obvious that he was toying with her.
"What? What are you going to do with me?"
Princess Esther exclaimed in shock as her heart thumped wildly. She had turned pale and was
trembling with fear while stepping back continuously.
"That depends on your answers.
Tell me what your master did to these men, and tell me the truth!"
Austin ordered.
"She needs young men's masculine energy to heal her injuries.
She is the only one out there who can support me, and my only hope of revenge. I have to do her
bidding and lure these men here so she can heal her wounds."
There were pangs of guilt and pain in her voice and one could tell she wasn't proud of what she'd done.
"You are a princess of the elf race. With such a noble identity, you should have been showered with
love and affection. How come you are completely dependent on such a weak semi-governing god?
You were also afraid that the Elf King had sent me to kill you. Why would he want to kill his own
daughter?
You are his daughter, aren't you?"
Austin asked curiously.
"There is something you don't know about me,"
Princess Esther suddenly burst into tears upon hearing this barrage of questions.
"There, there. Don't cry. Calm down,"
Austin tried to comfort her.
He could tell that she was not a bad person by nature, and she probably had good reason for doing
everything she'd done.
"The Elf King is not my father.
My father is dead. He was murdered by the Elf King!
He also killed my mother. Everyone in my family is dead.
I'm the sole member of my family now, living alone.
The only thing I desire is to kill the Elf King and avenge my parents' death, but I'm too weak to do that.
I wandered around a lot before I met my master. She promised to help me avenge my family's death
after her wounds were healed and she had regained her strength.
The trouble was my master's treatment was done through a special technique which required a lot of
masculine energy.
That was why I had to bring as many men as possible to her.
I never wanted to do that, but I had no choice,"
Princess Esther sincerely recounted her tale.
"I see."
Austin nodded.
"If the Elf King killed your parents, why has he let you live until now?
He could have easily killed you if he wanted to, but he didn't.
He's even let you hold the title of princess. What the hell is going on?"
Austin asked bluntly.
"He is pretending to be a good man so that the elf race respects and supports him.
My father, who was the previous Elf King, had a very good reputation.
When he was killed, the entire elf race was in great sorrow and wanted revenge.
Griffin was the most active member of our race who searched the entire Elf Cosmos for my father's
murderer. When his search was fruitless, he expanded his scope to the entire isolated alien spaces.
Later on, he even searched the entire Sea of Chaos.
He acted like he searched for the murderer with all his might only to win the trust of the senior leaders
of the elf race. This allowed him to become the new Elf King.
The only reason he didn't kill me is that it helped his goal of winning their trust.
He also treated me very well, even better than his own daughters!
Due to these factors, the entire elf race trusts him a lot now,"
Princess Esther explained.
"The better he treats you, the harder it will be for you to avenge your parents."
Austin nodded.
"Exactly!
Which was why my master was my only hope, but you've killed her now,"
Princess Esther moaned at Austin.
"Do you really think an injured semi-governing god would have helped you get your revenge? She only
wanted to help her own cause!
It's preposterous to think otherwise.
One injured semi-governing god wouldn't have been able to fight the entire elf race,"
Austin reminded her.
Princess Esther went silent after hearing his words.
Her master was gravely injured when they'd met and had been hiding in the villa all the time. She was
afraid to go out and wasn't sure when she would recover either.
In retrospect, it really was impossible for her to take revenge.
What's more, there were three semi-governing gods in the elf race.
Griffin, the current Elf King was one of them.
"But my master was my only hope,"
Princess Esther whispered in a broken tone.
"She didn't have the ability to help you. Even if she were at the peak of her strength, she wouldn't have
been able to fight the entire elf race. Griffin has everyone's support. Killing him won't be so easy,"
Austin shook his head and smiled.
"I had no other choice,"
Princess Esther replied in a low voice.
Austin nodded.
The truth was, he understood Esther's deep-rooted hatred and helplessness. She was weak and
desperate.
She desired revenge, and had to seize any chance she got.
"Alright. You know the whole story now. What are you going to do with me?"
Princess Esther looked at Austin bravely.
"Don't worry. I won't do anything to you. Fact is, I need your help."
Austin told her with a smile.
"Need my help? You are so powerful in yourself. What can I do for you?"
Princess Esther was stunned by his words.
"I need to get to the Spirit Cosmos through the teleportation array in your Elf Cosmos."
Austin told her his plan.
"Oh, I see!
So you are the human Prince Amit has been tracking for so many days now!
You approached me on purpose!"
Princess Esther suddenly understood his agenda.
"Yes, you are right."
Austin didn't hide the truth.
"Alright, I'll help you, but you must promise me that you'll take me with you. I don't want to stay in the
Elf Cosmos anymore. Something tells me that Griffin will deal with me eventually,"
Princess Esther replied.
