"It indeed is the Millstone of Reincarnation!"
Austin's eyes widened as they landed on the ancient letters that spelled out "Reincarnation" on the
lower part of the millstone.
This ancient word was exactly the same as the one carved on the Millstone of Reincarnation in the
Divine Being's World.
'However, this Millstone of Reincarnation is much larger than the one in the Divine Being's World, but
that just means that it is more superior, '
Austin thought to himself as he continued to examine it.
"Is this really the Millstone of Reincarnation?"
The rest of the divine gods present stepped forward and looked at the millstone.
"Master Stein, what's the use of the Millstone of Reincarnation?"
one of the divine gods asked.
"According to an ancient legend, the Millstone of Reincarnation can purify people's souls.
Every divine god must be baptized by the Millstone of Reincarnation before they are allowed to enter
the Shore of Rebirth.
The baptism is the process of grinding and reorganizing the body of the divine god. They must be
destroyed and their bodies must start all over.
Only after purification does a divine god has the chance to enter the Shore of Rebirth,"
Stein explained to everyone.
"Can the divine bodies and the spiritual souls regenerate again after they are shattered?"
All eyes landed on Stein as they all began to wonder the same thing.
"What I know all comes from the legend.
As for whether it's true or not, who knows?"
Stein said, shaking his head.
"The Shore of Rebirth is known as the paradise of divine gods. But what does it look like and what is in
it?
Master Stein, do you know anything about it?"
They all quieted down to hear what he would say.
"How could I know? The Shore of Rebirth is talked about only in legend. What is the place like? There
are only a few people in the Sea of Chaos who could tell you that, and I'm not one of them."
Stein shook his head with a sigh.
'What kind of place is the Shore of Rebirth?'
Austin thought to himself, racking his brain.
"Oh, I just remembered something!
The divine gods in the coffins on the divine mountains might know the answer.
Why else would they have stayed in this world after they died. They lie in the coffins, waiting for the
opportunity to enter the Shore of Rebirth,"
a divine god suddenly offered up.
"Yes! You are right.
They must stay there for this reason.
Master Stein, the divine gods lying in the coffin must know something about it.
We can ask them about the secrets of the Shore of Rebirth!"
Fervent discussions ran through the crowd as everybody talked about the Shore of Rebirth and these
mysterious, deceased gods.
"It's possible that they know;
however, it is considered offensive to disturb the divine gods who rest in peace in their coffins.
We don't want to anger them,"
Stein explained.
"They are just a group of dead guys. There is nothing to be afraid of.
They are barely conscious and some of them only have part of their spiritual soul energy or spiritual
avatars of themselves.
We are still alive, so we have the advantage if it goes wrong."
Others started laughing and jeering the dead gods.
"Let's go and ask the guys in the coffins,"
a semi-governing god suggested.
Without stopping to think about it further, they rose into the air and headed for the mountains.
With a little hesitation, Stein jumped into the air and followed his peers.
Austin followed on their heels, waiting for something to go horribly wrong.
Soon, everyone had landed on the divine mountain of their choosing.
"Let's ask this dead divine god first!"
A semi-governing god from the beast race walked towards a coffin. A great force came out of his palm
and he held it above the coffin.
He wanted to shake the lid off the coffin.
However, something unexpected happened at this moment.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
A crack appeared in the sky above them all and
an ancient altar bathed in a thick aura of time slowly descended from the gap in the sky.
"What's happening?"
Everyone's gazes were fixed upwards.
The semi-governing god from the beast race stopped and looked at the altar with his mouth open.
On top of the altar, there was a withered body of a monk.
The monk sat cross-legged by a table. He was almost a skeleton, with all his skin and flesh dried out.
His head hung lifelessly over its chest.
A shabby, colorless robe was draped over the corpse of the monk.
There was a stone table in front of the monk, and there were two items on the stone table.
One of them was a golden, wooden fish, which was engraved with numerous mysterious and
complicated runes.
The other item was a dark yellow Buddhist scripture, which lay open on the stone table. Vague
chanting constantly was murmured from within it.
There was nothing else present.
The huge altar stopped moving and floated above them.
Around the altar, shadows of ancient Buddha loomed in a cross-legged position in the void. They
chanted with their palms together and emitted bright Buddhist light at the same time.
As the power spread, the air in the space became thicker.
"This altar is very dangerous. Stay away from it,"
Stein reminded everyone with a serious look.
"Let's just be quick and ask the guy in the coffin about the Shore of Rebirth.
I feel like something might happen if we take too long,"
a semi-governing god said.
"Yes."
The other divine gods nodded in agreement.
No one present knew
what might come of the presence of the altar and none of them cared to stick around to find out.
"Okay, let's ask the guy in the coffin."
The semi-governing god of the beast race approached the coffin once more and lifted his hand. A force
came from it and shook the coffin.
Everyone fixed their gazes on the coffin, trying to see what kind of divine god was lying in it.
The secret of the Shore of Rebirth was all that mattered to them in that moment.
The Shore of Rebirth was said to be the paradise of gods, so
what made it so special?
In a few moments, they would find out.
The lid of the coffin started to creak open
when a piercing noise ripped through the air.
Everyone stepped back, afraid that it had come from the coffin.
However, on the altar, the monk's corpse had raised its skinny palm and picked up a stick by the
wooden fish and hit it.
Boom!
A dazzling Buddhist light was ejected from the wooden fish and shot directly towards the semi-
governing god of the beast race.
"Hey! Where's that light coming from?"
Slowly, all their gazes traveled up to the sky.
"Humph! It is just that dead monk!
Why should I be afraid of you?"
the semi-governing god of the beast race yelled, stepping back from the coffin.
Boom!
He threw a punch towards the lights.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The huge fist of the semi-governing god collided with the dazzling light.
Everyone smirked at this because they were sure that a semi-governing god could defeat his opponent.
After all, the strength of a semi-governing god was very close to that of a governing god.
However, the result made everyone's hair stand on end.
When the fist of the semi-governing god hit the dazzling Buddha light, it exploded like a balloon.
Then, his arm exploded, sending blood flying all over and spattering the others.
However, it didn't stop there.
Half of his body then was blown to pieces.
Ahhh!
The semi-governing god of the beast race screamed as he retreated as fast as he could.
