"Yes, you are right."
The chaotic sky-devouring beast looked at the two primitive gifted beasts, and then it looked away
again, acting a little timid.
"They are too powerful.
I don't think I can defeat them," it shyly replied.
Thanks to Austin's guidance, the chaotic sky-devouring beast improved its communication skills and
had become more fluent.
"It doesn't matter. We only need to be careful not to provoke them."
Contrary to the beast's anxious mood, Austin looked calm and collected. Although he was under
tremendous pressure facing the two beasts, he was confident that they would be alright.
The chaotic sky-devouring beast suddenly raised its voice and greeted the two beasts, saying,
"It's nice to meet you, sirs."
"You're quite polite," the flood dragon said as it lowered its head and looked down at Austin and the
chaotic sky-devouring beast.
It further added, "After so many eras, someone has finally come to grab the Immortal Tribulation Tree
again.
Unfortunately, you two don't look strong enough."
"We haven't seen any incredibly powerful creature for many years.
Most of the warriors who had come here were pitifully weak, but they still attempted to snatch the
Immortal Tribulation Tree.
They badly overestimated themselves," the four-legged beast sneered.
"That's right. All creatures are weak next to our two races. How can they cultivate any powerful
creatures?"
"I assume that you also came for the Immortal Tribulation Tree.
Well, go ahead then. According to the rules, as long as you defeat us, we won't stop you," remarked
the flood dragon.
"Try and defeat us."
The four-legged beast flashed a blood-thirsty grin at Austin. It seemed that it was also looking forward
to a fight.
Meanwhile, both Austin and the chaotic sky-devouring beast were intrigued.
They had realized that these two beasts were guarding the Immortal Tribulation Tree here. And
whoever could defeat them would have the chance to obtain the tree.
"Come on. Just give it a try.
This tree is quite valuable,"
Austin said to the chaotic sky-devouring beast, trying to persuade it to fight.
He seemed to succeed as the beast's eyes suddenly lit up, and it nodded its head. It wanted to fight
too!
"Sirs,"
Austin began.
"Should I defeat you one by one?
Or are we going to fight at the same time?"
"You two are going to fight one by one," the flood dragon responded, chuckling to itself with
amusement.
"You can fight me first, and then you can fight that guy covered with flames next.
If you can defeat both of us, you can do whatever you want."
"Well, come out, all of you."
At this time, the four-legged beast raised its head and let out a resounding roar. Its booming sound
echoed in every part of the star.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The vast star suddenly began to tremble like a leaf, and the boundless seas around also started to roll.
Flood dragons flew out of the deep blue sea one after another, and four-legged beasts flew out of the
fiery red sea on the other side.
These beasts were all gigantic and were emitting a terrifying, daunting aura.
Nearly a hundred flood dragons and almost a hundred four-legged beasts stared at Austin and the
chaotic sky-devouring beast from afar.
They were very excited and couldn't wait to fight.
"Oh, no!
How come there are so many primitive gifted beasts?"
The chaotic sky-devouring beast eyed them in shock, and its eyes were wide with uncertainty and a
little anxiety.
On the other hand, Austin could only frown as he looked upon this scene, and he could feel his scalp
tingling.
"There are so many terrible beasts hidden there. I'm afraid it will be difficult for the two of us to
withstand their siege."
Austin couldn't help but smile bitterly. These multitude of beasts were too much for just the two of them.
If they were to fight all of them, he and the chaotic sky-devouring beast would undoubtedly lose.
At this thought, Austin decided that he and the chaotic sky-devouring beast could only follow the rules.
They knew that they shouldn't provoke the beasts in front of them.
Otherwise, the consequences would be unimaginable!
Both Austin and the chaotic sky-devouring beast were under tremendous pressure thanks to this
problematic situation.
They couldn't help but swallow hard, cold sweat dotting their foreheads.
"They are all my clansmen," the flood dragon in front of Austin said.
"You don't have to be afraid, as they are just standing by.
I promise you that they won't rush up and beat you up in groups. Only despicable creatures would do
that, and they are an honorable crowd.
If there is an adult chaotic sky-devouring beast, maybe we will rush up together and beat it up. But you
—"
The flood dragon abruptly stopped talking, shook its head, and continued, "Forget it! I'm afraid that
others will laugh at us if they know we fight you that way."
The flood dragon glared at Austin and the chaotic sky-devouring beast as it spoke. Apparently, it had
an inkling of what they were thinking about.
"No more nonsense.
If you want to get the Immortal Tribulation Tree, you have to pass our test.
Who will fight first?
You or you?" the four-legged beast urged, pointing at Austin and the chaotic sky-devouring beast.
But the two didn't readily reply, as they looked at each other timidly.
They could tell that they were a little weak in the eyes of these beasts.
"Let me fight," said the chaotic sky-devouring beast suddenly.
"Like these primitive gifted beasts, we chaotic sky-devouring beasts are also honorable ancient beasts.
I should be able to do this."
As it spoke, its eyes shone with determined fire, and its voice sounded solid and sure.
But Austin shook his head in disagreement.
"No. I should fight first to check their strength," he insisted.
He preferred to fight before the beast so that he could first gauge their enemy's strength.
After all, he didn't want to throw it in deep waters when he wasn't sure if it could swim.
Although the chaotic sky-devouring beast was undoubtedly powerful, it had never fought a day in its
life.
It would undoubtedly lose easily.
"Okay."
The chaotic sky-devouring beast had always been obedient to Austin.
On the long and narrow land, the two beasts looked down at the two little fellows in front of them.
Meanwhile, on the two seas in the distance, nearly two hundred terrifying beasts were watching this
scene.
"I'll fight first,"
Austin declared loudly to the two beasts as he stepped forward.
"Okay.
Come on."
The flood dragon grinned with excitement.
Boom!
Austin pulled out a saber with an ancient aura, and the saber radiance surged and swelled with it.
Whoosh!
He used the reincarnation bodily movement skill, and a reincarnation path appeared beneath his feet.
On this path, he instantly soared into the sky at breakneck speed.
Austin felt that although these beasts were powerful, they had one glaring weakness.
That was, their bodies were massive.
And therefore, they probably could not move as fast as Austin.
"Wow, you're fast."
The flood dragon's eyes lit up when it observed his quick movements. As its fighting spirit boiled to the
limit, it flailed its right claw wildly in the air.
It had been guarding the Immortal Tribulation Tree on this land for a long time, and typically, very few
creatures came around.
As a result, it didn't have many chances to fight with others.
But, it liked fighting. Now that there was someone to fight, it was naturally hyped and excited.
Austin realized as it moved its right claw, and its speed was terrifyingly fast.
Unexpectedly, it was no slower than him.
At the same time, its attack, with piercing coldness, directly hit Austin's short body.
Austin barely touched the flood dragon's right claw with the saber in his hand, and he dodged it,
rushing straight to the flood dragon's abdomen.
He knew that this was the most vulnerable part of the flood dragon.
"I didn't expect that this guy could fight this well."
"He is certainly quite impressive."
"Instead of defending, he takes the initiative to attack. He is interesting..."
In the distance, the beasts of the two races were watching and commenting with interest.
