The level-five governing god made his way towards the universe community in front of them. Austin
and the chaotic sky-devouring beast trailed along behind him.

They were upset and angry at this turn of events, but they didn't dare to provoke Austin or the chaotic
sky-devouring beast any further.

One of the older governing god turned to the others, a dejected look on his face.

This young man and the chaotic sky-devouring beast are not to be trifled with.

It was Old Lady Meng, who instantly sensed something the moment they entered the supreme
universe.

"You're right.

It's another piece of the Memory Bridge!"

Austin said with surprise, looking around at the depths of the supreme universe.

There was a broken bridge floating in the void. It gave off a strong aura of space and time. A brilliant
law of reincarnation emanated from the floating bridge.

Austin, excited, hurried forward.

As soon as he reached the broken bridge, Old Lady Meng appeared beside him.

a figure showed up on the broken bridge.

It was another remnant soul of the formidable old woman.

"Madam, it's your remnant soul,"

Austin said to Old Lady Meng who stood beside him.

She nodded. "It is. Another remnant soul, like myself,"

she said, lifting a hand to wave at the figure on the bridge.

When two remnant souls met, they would merge, becoming one piece.

However, the Old Lady Meng on the broken bridge did not respond to this overture.

"What's going on with her?" the Old Lady Meng beside Austin said, frowning at this unexpected
response.

She sounded a bit bewildered.

At that moment,

the Old Lady Meng on the broken bridge stepped forward and lifted her own hand to wave.

Instantly, the Old Lady Meng with Austin was drawn forward by an irresistible force, flying towards the
figure on the bridge.



Austin thought that this was normal.

When two remnant souls met, the stronger one would absorb the weaker one.

soul accompanying Austin.

After a few more moments, the Old Lady Meng who was with Austin stopped flying forward, and landed
ahead of Austin on the winding path.

Austin caught up with her quickly.

"What's all this, madam?"

Austin asked, staring with narrowed eyes at the old woman on the broken bridge.

"My soul was contaminated. I can sense it.

It has been absorbed by other soul,"

Old Lady Meng explained.

"I see..."

Austin murmured, thinking.

Finally he came up with a plan.

"Let me take care of this," he said to Old Lady Meng.

"Very well,"

she agreed.



Although she was a very powerful existence, she had sustained severe injuries, and her soul had been
broken into dozens of pieces in a battle.

She was now only one of various soul fragments scattered in different places along with the fragments
of the broken Memory Bridge.

Each of the remnant soul fragments was far weaker than the original Old Lady Meng.

"You're digging your own grave, you brat!"

the figure on the bridge shouted, staring at Austin with resentment.

"You're the one who dug your own grave, whoever you are. I'll make you pay for daring to devour Old
Lady Meng's remnant soul,"

Austin said coldly, glaring back at her.

There was a series of deafening booms in the distance. Austin waited.

Rolling black fog then swept forward across the bridge.

A foul energy emanated strongly from the fog. Austin and Old Lady Meng waited on the path, tense
and alert.

After several seconds, a creature of darkness came into view. Austin realized that the remnant soul of
Old Lady Meng on the bridge had been devoured and refined by this foreboding
creature.
