"Hold on, everyone. You're being rash. Austin is qualified to be my successor,"
the statue interrupted, causing everything to fall calm instantly.
"Okay."
The chatter took a little while longer to die off.
"Since our master says you are good, I guess you are not too bad.
I hope you won't let me down in the future,"
the goat muttered in a low voice.
"It's all over now and you should leave. Don't disturb Austin. He needs to cultivate.
I think you should also spend some time cultivating. You almost caused a disruption of peace in the
Fallen Divine Valley,"
the sky-devouring dog added.
"Yes!
But why did you get me involved in your argument?"
the rooster inserted with dissatisfaction.
Before long, the square erupted with conversation and arguments once more.
"Enough!"
the statue shouted.
A loud clap sounded and a tremendous power of space and time appeared, sucking all the living
creatures, but Austin, away.
"Now, Austin, it's time to cultivate.
It is vital that you acquire Chaotic Heaven Body as soon as possible,"
the statue both warned and encouraged at the same time.
"Master, I see."
Austin nodded. Then he sat cross-legged on the ground and began to meditate and absorb the two
babies in his body.
This was now an easy feat since they had been suppressed and had no power to resist.
Using the secret skill he had been taught by the statue, Austin wrapped circles of refining power around
the evil baby layer by layer like ripples and refined it.
Every second, wisps of special energy were refined from the evil baby and absorbed by Austin.
Small changes began to subtly occur in his body.
He could feel himself becoming stronger at a growing pace.
Endless energy was running in his body.
Each one of his bones and cells melted and re-materialized and his flesh shed and regrew.
And this process was repeated.
It was slightly painful, but Austin knew it was working.
For the next few days, Austin's body absorbed the special energy refined from the evil baby.
He remained like this for a dozen days.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
After what seemed like years, thick, dark clouds rolled in to cover the whole chaotic void above Austin's
head.
Strips of blood-red lightning flashed and wandered crazily throughout the clouds.
"I'm going to break through!"
Austin exclaimed, feeling like it had happened too soon.
High up in the air, flashes of blood-red lightning were densely packed, squirming and releasing a
destructive aura.
"If I break through, I will be a medium-grade divine god!"
Excitement shot through him.
The time it had taken him to get from a preliminary-grade divine god to a medium-grade was very short.
If he became a medium-grade divine god, it would be astonishing just because he was still so young.
He had never heard of a medium-grade divine god being so young in the Sea of Chaos.
That was one of the reasons why the statue took a fancy to Austin and thought he could be his
successor.
"Austin, you must immediately suppress and restrain your aura. Don't break through like this.
Once you break through now, your upper limit will be fixed."
The statue's voice resounded, coming through Austin's Soul Sea.
"Now, try your best to suppress your aura. I'll use a heaven-deceiving skill to help you defuse the
Thunderstroke Doom,"
the statue continued.
"Okay!"
Hearing this, Austin frowned. Although he did not understand the reason, he knew that the statue knew
best.
Therefore, he tried his best to restrain his aura and suppress his own strength.
The statue released a mysterious cloud above Austin's head, and the cloud let out a mysterious chaotic
law, completely isolating the small space where Austin was.
Gradually, the connection between the dark clouds in the sky and Austin began to disappear.
After a while, the angry clouds disappeared and it became sunny again.
"Master, why can't I break through now?"
Austin asked curiously.
"It's simple. Let me explain,"
the statue began.
"Most of the divine gods in the world are eager to break through and go further.
This is most common with preliminary-grade and medium-grade divine gods. I find that they are the
most greedy when it comes to strength.
In fact, most of them don't even know there is a secret. If a divine god can pass through eighty-one
tribulations in each realm, he will obtain what we call the Divine Accomplishment.
A divine god with the Divine Accomplishment is acknowledged by the absolute and most primitive
chaotic vacuum and no longer belongs to a certain chaotic void or a certain chaotic era.
As for the divine gods without the Divine Accomplishment, although they possess the power of divine
gods, they only belong to a certain chaotic void or a certain chaotic era.
To put it bluntly, only the divine gods with the Divine Accomplishment can be immortal.
A divine god without the Divine Accomplishment also has a long life, but he will die when the certain
chaotic era he lives on comes to an end.
Of course, there are some masters who can live for several chaotic eras, but even they are not
immortal. One day, they will die and return to the cycle of reincarnation."
Austin's eyes widened.
"Really?
I've never heard of such a thing!"
Austin was already a preliminary-grade divine god.
Before now, he felt and believed that there was endless life energy in his body.
Therefore, Austin thought that as long as he wasn't killed by external forces, he would be immortal!
But according to his master, a divine god like him only had the lifespan of one chaotic era, at most
several chaotic eras. So that meant that one day, he would die.
"And I forgot to mention one more thing. If a divine god can get the Divine Accomplishment in every
realm, he has the chance of becoming a god of chaos in the end!
A divine god must go through eighty-one tribulations and obtain the Divine Accomplishment at each
realm from the preliminary-grade to the governing.
Then it can be done, but only this way.
There are no shortcuts.
But most of the divine gods don't know any of this.
They don't understand that it's wrong to pursue rapid growth of strength,"
the statue continued.
