The Supreme God Chapter 262 A Semi-finished Pill (Part Two)

According to the Elixir Foundation, the different places in the herbal pot required different temperatures,
especially when mixing different liquid and essences.

It was the same herbal pot. However, some places of it would require high temperature and some
would need low temperature. It was frankly hard to do. The refiner must have the ability to control the
temperatures in different areas of the pot precisely.

Austin observed the situation in the pot through the ice crystal once more.

However, it was difficult for him to have an idea about the pot's temperature just by simply looking. He
could clearly see the ingredients inside the pot but he couldn't touch them or feel them. Thus, there
was no way for him to know how hot it was inside the pot now. How could he even control the
temperature of the flames in this situation?

Austin repeated the related part in the Elixir Foundation multiple times. Nonetheless, he still couldn't
figure out how to control the heat in different places of the pot. He felt as if he was stuck.

He was in that dilemma when a thought suddenly flashed in his mind. 'It's true that I can't feel the
temperature inside but wait... I have a spiritual sense! That should do! I could apply my spiritual sense
power and make it work into the herbal pot. I'd definitely know the temperature anywhere in the pot by
doing that. Thus, I can control my vital energy based on it.'

Austin immediately took action with this in his mind.

He released his spiritual sense power and within a moment, he got a full view of what was inside the
pot. He instantly knew the temperature at every point inside the pot and even the interior sculpted
decorations. Everything was suddenly so clear to him just like the way he could see textures on his
palm.



It worked!

Overjoyed, Austin licked his dry lips. His spiritual sense power was tracing every change inside the
herbal pot closely. He made the temperature underneath the black particles increase gradually.

The flames sizzled.

His spiritual sense power enabled him to control the direction, force, and the amount of vital energy he
was transporting.

He was using one of his hands to maintain the temperature of the pot on one spot while using the other
hand to increase the temperature on the other. He felt even more pressured now that he had to do two
different things at the same time.

It was lucky though that he gradually learned the method of controlling his vital energy to do two
different tasks simultaneously through trial and error.

The small black particles inside the herbal pot finally burst into powders due to the increasing heat. The
black powder it produced slowly mixed with the red paste and gave it a darker color.

Another sigh of relief escaped from Austin's chest upon seeing the last pinch of black powder dissolved
into the paste.

He succeeded in blending the first three herbal extracts! It would be easier for him to blend whatever
herbs were left since he already got the trick.

An hour later and Austin waved his palm to mark the end of the process. The lid of the pot lifted
because of his gesture and dropped to the ground. He then lifted his right hand and suddenly a rough
dark red pill popped from the pot and fell onto his palm.



Austin studied the dark red pill closely. He could smell the strong fragrance of the herbs from it. Austin
treasured the pill so much that he couldn't even put it down. It was obvious that his first trial in refining a
pill wasn't perfect since the pill in his hand was still semi-finished.

However, this was still the very first pill he made in the pill-refining realm. The more he looked at the
pill, the more he liked it. As the saying went, "Every mother's child is handsome."

'Haha! Congratulations to myself! I almost succeeded in my first try of refining a pill! It seems that I am
only a step away from being a pill refiner!' Austin thought merrily.

Pride and excitement were flooding Austin as he stared at the dark red pill. Its surface was rough. Even
its color was a bit strange.

He then took out a jade bottle from his chest pocket and ceremoniously put the rough pill in it. It might
not be successful but then it would make a really good memento.

His accomplishment in making that rough pill marked the end of his first experiment in pill refining.

Today was the date he was supposed to pick up the medicinal pills and elixirs he had ordered in the pill
store.

Before he set out, Austin touched his Space Ring sadly. One million would be taken out of it today and
just the thought of that amount made his heart ache.

Austin chose to walk into a quiet alley after leaving the room. He dropped by a garment store and
bought a grey robe before heading to the pill store. He took his black cloak off and put on his grey cloak
instead.



He assumed that the people from the Medicine Sect must be searching for him everywhere. Thus, he
changed his garment. He had taken the powerful crystal from the Cloud Cave from them and killed
Steward Meng. These two sins alone should be enough to make the Sect go crazy about hunting him
down.

Clearly, he was no longer safe with the black cloak on.

He went to the Pill Trading Street after dressing himself in a grey cloak. The mentioned street was the
busiest one in the Peace Town.

He thought that no one would recognize him, let alone notice him because of his new clothes.

He was terribly wrong!

There was really no way for him to escape if a person set his full mind in catching him. Two men were
already eyeing him from afar just shortly after he showed up on the street of Peace Town.

Since the street was full of hustle and bustle, a crowd of people, and tons of vehicles, Austin had left
his guard down and didn't even notice that he had been spotted.
