"How can this be possible?"
The governing god of the Dragon Cosmos was astounded and furious by what had just happened. He
was a governing god. He should have no trouble striking his opponent at such close range, especially
when his opponent didn't attack or make a move to run; he was just standing dead still.
"Something is not quite right with him."
"It's possible he's mastered some sort of powerful law of space and time that he's using now."
The other Dragon Cosmos' governing gods discussed among themselves, staring at Austin in disbelief.
"Boy, I refuse to accept that I cannot even land a single hit on you," growled the governing god that had
just attacked Austin.
He charged towards him again, his halberds in his hands, striking like two thunderbolts.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The halberds grew larger and larger, rolling over like two massive boulders.
The governing god was going to give Austin all he had. The magnificent force he gave off as he rushed
ahead shook the chaotic void violently.
The only reaction this drew from Austin however, was a faint smirk. He wasn't at all afraid and
remained standing still.
Even Austin himself found it troublesome to break Donovan's Time and Space Array when he had first
faced it.
Not to mention, his strength was much stronger than Donovan's. Austin knew this governing god did
not have the strength to break his array; he didn't stand a chance.
Boom!
The two gigantic battle halberds sliced through the air, whipping the space and time and making them
explode into smoke and flames.
But they had still failed to even graze Austin, only skipping right past him.
"Damn it!
How is this possible?
It must be some sort of illusion. This can't be real!"
muttered the governing god through gritted teeth, standing motionless, his halberds still firm in his
grasp.
None of the governing gods of the Dragon Cosmos dared look down on Austin anymore.
Now, they only looked at him with fear and dread swirling in their eyes and hearts.
They were not so stupid that they could not recognize that the strength of the semi-governing god
before them was not as simple as they had originally thought.
"What do you think? Would you like to continue this fight or not?
Why don't you all come at me together?"
Austin said, putting his hands behind his back and smiling cheekily.
"All right then. Let's take him down together!"
"There's no way he'd be able to handle all of our attacks,"
cried out the other governing gods of the Dragon Cosmos, as they released their spiritual power to
attack Austin.
'There does seem to be quite a lot of them. I'll have to set up several more Time and Space Arrays,'
Austin thought to himself as he watched the onslaught coming for him.
He waved his hands
and the space around him rippled.
In the blink of an eye, numerous Time and Space Arrays were deployed around him, one after another.
With his current level of array deployment, he could effortlessly deploy an array as he willed.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The attacks rained down on Austin one after the other, but the Time and Space Arrays surrounded him
and kept him safe, leaving him untouched.
His figure was faint and blurry, hard to see among the barrage of attacks being thrown at him.
"It really is the space and time law!"
They had finally sensed the rippling law around Austin.
"Let's combine our space and time law to subdue him and break his."
"That's a good idea. With so many of us, it's not possible that his space and time law could by itself
deal with all of ours together."
"Come on, as one!" shouted the governing gods of the Dragon Cosmos to each other.
They attacked Austin with their magic treasure or fatal skills, not wanting to hold anything back.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Many Time and Space Arrays around Austin got to work, constantly transferring the energy of the
governing gods' attacks away from him.
And at the same time, they kept him well protected in the depth of space and time.
Not one attack could reach him.
He was surrounded by dozens of governing gods striking with all their might, and still nothing.
Their attacks simply brushed past him like a gentle breeze.
No matter how hard they tried, they couldn't land a hit on him.
Every creature that witnessed this scene unfold was left absolutely stunned.
"I have not expected Master Austin to be so powerful,"
a governing god of the Blade Cosmos exclaimed, pleasantly surprised.
"Ha ha, you're only realizing it now?
If he wasn't, why would Supreme Grandmaster Donovan hand over his rule of the Blade Cosmos to
Master Austin?"
"Exactly. Supreme Grandmaster Donovan is stronger than we are, and even he gave in to Master
Austin."
The governing gods of the Blade Cosmos began discussing Austin's incredible display among
themselves.
"Kill him!"
"Hold nothing back! Fight with all your strength!"
The Dragon Cosmos' governing gods mustered all the strength they had and used it on Austin, letting
out deafening battle cries as they attacked, but it had no effect. They still could not hit him.
He stood unmoving with his hands clasped behind his back.
He seemed relax, almost too relaxed.
The armies on both sides were astounded.
"Master Austin! Master Austin!" echoed the sudden chants of the Blade Cosmos.
They had burst out into joyous roars, countless blade cultivators shouting wildly, cheering their master
on.
They were proud and excited beyond even their own comprehension, just to have him as their leader.
An hour later,
the governing gods of the Dragon Cosmos finally ceased their assault on Austin.
They finally came to their senses and saw that no matter how long they kept this up, they'd never be
able to touch him.
"What's the matter? Are you not going to try and fight me anymore?"
Austin asked with a mischievous grin.
"If you're done fighting, then it's time to fulfill your promises.
Surrender to me!"
he barked, glancing around at the governing gods of the Dragon Cosmos.
"I'm not convinced yet!
You can do this only because your cultivation base in the space and time law is stronger than ours.
If you're capable of lasting without it, stop using that space and time law and fight us fairly.
Let's see your true strength.
Convince us that way, and then I will surrender to you,"
shouted back a governing god of the Dragon Cosmos.
"That's right.
I'll admit that your space and time law is indeed very powerful, brat!
But it seems that your most impressive skill is dodging.
Your real strength may not even be worth mentioning."
"Come on, brat. Fight us fairly.
Let's see whether you can actually defeat us or not. Unless you're not up for it?"
Many of the Dragon Cosmos' governing gods added their voices to the shouts at Austin, calling him
out.
"Oh?
You want to see my real strength?
Well, that can be arranged. Perhaps it is time I show it to you,"
Austin replied coolly.
"Ha ha, these guys are so foolish. They want to fight Master Austin? They don't know what they're in
for," laughed the governing gods of the Blade Cosmos with mockery all across their faces.
They knew these Blade Cosmos' governing gods were about to get pummeled like they never had
before.
They knew just how powerful Austin was.
"Come on then. You'd better all come at me at once.
I won't hide anymore. I'm right here,"
said Austin with stern confidence.
"Ha ha, you overestimate yourself, boy.
As long as you don't dodge, I will defeat you all on my own. No tricks, and you're mine!"
said a governing god of the Dragon Cosmos, chuckling arrogantly as he stepped forward.
"Enough time wasting. Let's get this over with,"
Austin said calmly, a little impatient.
