He couldn't help but laugh happily. This adventure had been pleasantly surprising and well worth it.

for it.

"Devour! Devour more!"

Austin's spiritual sense continued absorbing the blade shadows around the blade shrine.

"Stop right there,

you brat!

That energy is mine! It's not yours to take!

Stop right this instant, or I'll never let you leave! You'll die right here!"

Donovan had caught sight of what Austin was doing and was both horrified and furious, shouting at him
from afar to get him to stop.



Seeing Austin devouring the shadows in the blade shrine sent shivers of panic throughout his being.

In the blade shadows were after all his energy source and what he relied on for recovery.

And here he'd discovered that Austin had found them and was taking them all for himself!

This was a deadly serious matter for Donovan.

"Stop right now!

You brat!

I'll give you anything else you want, anything but this.

You know what, we can resolve any hatred there is between us. We can work this out.

You want to rule the Blade Cosmos, don't you?

You can rule it. I'll hand the power over to you! Just don't touch my blade shrines!" continued Donovan.

His tone was softer now.

He was even a little appeasing.

"You want to practice blade skills, right? I can teach you my blade skills. I have a large collection of
high-level ones, all of which can be yours.

But my blade shrines are off limits!

Brat, do you hear me?

Get your hands off my shrines!"



he bellowed at Austin, losing his patience.

But Austin paid him no mind, and half a day later, he had absorbed all the blade shadows in the shrine.

"Well, I'm off to the next blade shrine!"

Austin released his spiritual sense, and before long he located another blade shrine in this world.

Blade shrines were scattered all throughout the Blade Cosmos, on every star and every world.

There were countless of them.

With a single stride, Austin arrived at another shrine.

He released his spiritual sense again and in a mere moment, it entered the blade shrine.

Austin was now familiar with these blade shrines and with his current level of blade cultivation base, it
was easy for his spiritual sense to enter into them.

Inside were a large number of blade shadows,

made up of the purest blade intent, blade aura and blade energy!

Each shadow represented a contribution of a blade cultivator!

These blade shrines were very special. Donovan had set up brilliant arrays to protect them. As a result,
once a blade cultivator entered the shrine to worship, he had to contribute a piece of what he had
learned related to the blade skills. This was what formed the blade shadows.

Eventually, Donovan would absorb these shadows.



He had been the Blade Cosmos' ruler for a long time and during this period, every blade cultivator had
entered the blade shrine multiple times in his life to worship.

And so a large collection of blade shadows had been amassed.

"Swallow them!"

Austin cried out as his spiritual sense began devouring the blade shadows within.

"Stop!"

Donovan roared in a rage, his voice cracking as he screamed. He seemed to be holding in his tears.

He was furious, but there was nothing he could do.

"My blade skills have improved quite a lot," Austin said to no one in particular.

He was overjoyed.

In but a mere moment, all the blade shadows of this second shrine had been gobbled up by Austin.

'I imagine that by the time I've absorbed and integrated all the blade shadows in all the blade shrines,
my blade cultivation will rise to a level beyond imagination!

Perhaps my blade skills will be as impressive as my swordsmanship when all is said and done.'

Austin was on top of the world, thrilled by this possibility.

Beams of bright blade radiance emitted from his body and law chains related to the blade law
appeared, circling around him.



Austin then made his way to another shrine. He extended his spiritual sense and began absorbing
blade shadows as before.

'My spiritual sense seems to have increased a lot as well with all the blade shadows I've assimilated.

I see, so these shadows contain an abundance of spiritual soul energy as well!

Looks like I can kill two birds with one stone here.

I can improve both my blade skills and my spiritual sense!'

Austin thought excitedly.

"You little bastard, stop.

Those are my things you're stealing! You thief!

All that energy is mine!

You can't have them, brat!"

Donovan's voice echoed in every corner of the Blade Cosmos as he whined desperately.

Time passed slowly, and without them knowing it, half a year had passed.

Austin had discovered and ransacked most of the blade shrines in the Blade Cosmos by this time.

His blade skills had soared to new heights.

He was getting a deeper understanding of blade cultivation,

and his spiritual sense was stronger than ever.



In fact, Austin's spiritual sense had even materialized and it was as bright as divine jade.

If released, it would even be seen by the naked eye.

By its side, Austin's figure looked extremely majestic and everlasting.
