"What are you waiting for?" a genuine divine god of the wood puppet race asked as he pointed at
Austin excitedly.
"Let's capture him and take him back to our supreme grandmaster!"
"Catch him?"
someone echoed dubiously.
"Have you already forgotten how powerful that human boy is?"
"That's right." Someone backed him up. "He was able to break into our ancestral land on his own!"
Immediately, the members of the wood puppet race broke into an argument: those in favor of capturing
Austin versus those who weren't.
"Humph! Don't you understand?" one of them snorted.
"The only reason why he was able to break in was because our supreme grandmaster let him.
The supreme grandmaster meant to use this boy as a means to take back our race's holy treasure!
Did you really think so highly of this young man?"
Others began to nod in agreement.
"What you said makes sense!
Our supreme grandmaster was indeed using this human boy to help us get the holy treasure from the
Longevity Valley!"
"Huh," one of them grunted. "This guy doesn't seem too bright.
Otherwise, he wouldn't have been fooled by our supreme grandmaster!"
The other puppets also raised their fists in support.
"Let's catch this guy and bring him back to our supreme grandmaster. She will be so pleased!"
"Okay, let's go!"
Without any more squabbling, a horde of wood puppets swarmed around Austin.
Seeing this, the people of the face race felt a bit intimidated, so they too went and surrounded Austin.
"Let's take this brat back to our supreme grandmaster!"
they also chanted.
Austin looked at them almost sympathetically. Shaking his head with a smile, he said, "You truly are so
reckless."
After saying those menacing words, he took a step forward.
A group of puppets rushed towards him.
"Boy, don't try anything stupid! Just surrender!" they shouted.
These puppets were considered to be quite powerful. With every step they took, they shook space and
time like an earthquake.
"Brat!" a voice called out from the other side.
"Come back with us to meet our supreme grandmaster!"
The army of the face race also approached Austin. They audaciously spurted out terrible energy
columns of light towards Austin.
"Fuck off!" Austin snapped.
With a wave of his hand, a thick blade radiance slashed out.
The blade radiance was so indescribably dazzling that both parties were blinded for a moment.
In the blink of an eye, the space and time within the vicinity were completely destroyed.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Both the wood puppet race and the face race were flung backwards.
Like cannonballs, they shot towards the distance.
With a mere flick of his wrist, Austin had broken the siege as though it were nothing.
In the distance, the other members of the wood puppet race and the face race were all stunned. Having
seen what just happened, they were struck with fear. Staring at Austin in horror, they dared not make
any more moves.
Suddenly, someone of the wood puppet race shouted,
"Inform our governing gods, quickly!
Only they can deal with this terrifying human!"
Meanwhile,
the face race also had the same idea. They too sent messages to their governing gods.
By now,
Austin had made it to the border of the continent.
"What a brilliant ultimate law!
Lucky for me that there's only a small amount of this law power.
Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to break these big arrays,"
he muttered to himself as he stood before the continent. Examining the arrays that covered the
continent from above, he couldn't help but feel a little amazed.
Austin knew that these arrays were set up by the supreme grandmasters of the wood puppet race and
the face race themselves.
Or, perhaps they arranged everything in advance in their own places and asked their people to transfer
these arrays here. Whatever the reason, Austin was still impressed.
All of a sudden, Austin raised his right hand, which was suddenly growing in size at a rapid speed.
Then, he reached forward and pressed it against the continent before him.
Boom!
Boom!
Austin's right hand kept on growing. It didn't take long before his hand grew large enough to blot out the
sky above the continent.
Runes began to pour out of the big hand and they hit the arrays that were protecting the continent.
The truth was, despite how powerful the ultimate laws were, the arrays that covered this continent
weren't particularly brilliant.
It was only thanks to these ultimate laws that these large arrays became powerful enough to resist
attacks.
Austin narrowed his eyes at the continent.
All of a sudden, he used his big hand to slap at the arrays.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
One blow after another, Austin kept slamming his palm against the big arrays.
Runes flew out of his hand wildly, colliding into the big arrays,
causing them to shake violently under the impact.
Soon, cracks began to appear on these big arrays.
With each passing second, the cracks became larger and larger.
Suddenly, those big arrays began to tremble violently, their surfaces covered with cracks. Any moment
now, those big arrays were going to collapse!
Meanwhile,
from within the array,
nine figures stared up at the trembling sky with knitted eyebrows.
"What is happening?
The arrays seem to be under attack.
Is someone finally here to save us?"
a burly man asked, clutching a big club bat excitedly.
If Austin were there, he would've immediately recognized the man. It was Asa!
The Eight Stone Saints and the gnome were all here.
The wood puppet race and the face race had trapped them on this continent for a long time.
Until now, they hadn't figured out a way to break out.
Today, they watched the arrays above them tremble,
which filled them all with hope.
"Wait, that's impossible," Conor said in disbelief.
"The wood puppet race and the face race have always found fault with us. Everyone in this supreme
universe knows that.
I don't think anyone would want to help us,
which begs the question. Why has someone come to break the arrays?"
He narrowed his eyes in suspicion.
"There is only one possibility then.
Austin is here,"
Asa said proudly.
"Austin?
He's here?"
The other people all turned to face Asa in surprise.
"He's been gone too long.
He likes travelling around, too. I don't think he'd come back here again.
He's probably forgotten about us already."
The gnome pursed his lips.
"Don't say that!
He might've been gone a while, but he still remembers us.
I'm sure he has come back to save us!"
Conor said excitedly.
"Yes, I have to agree with Conor," Farrar said with a nod.
"Austin would never forget us,
let alone leave us behind.
He will definitely come back for us."
"Even if Austin did come," the gnome said sourly, "he won't be able to defeat both supreme
grandmasters.
Did you forget already?
He left this supreme universe to get away from them!"
