“Yeah.” Yan Su looked at him after pouring herself a glass of water. “Liuxi, let me show you some photos of our daughter.”
Mo Liuxi was energized at her suggestion and scooted over to where she was sitting on the couch. He looked at the photos on her phone. She had pages of Yan Yan’s photos from when she was just born, pictures when she was crying, pictures when she was laughing and photos of her swimming.
“These are the photos that my mother took of her when she celebrated her hundred-day old birthday. I was busy then and I didn’t have time to accompany her,” Yan Su said sadly. “I’m not a good mother.”
Mo Liuxi hugged her as he tried to comfort her. “I know you’re working so hard so you can provide for our baby girl. Susu, you don’t have to work so hard from now on. I can handle all of your expenses. I don’t have much but I have money and resources.”
Yan Su burst into giggles as she turned to look at him. “Aren’t you being a little too humble? I bet you had a lot of girls hot on your tail over these past 6 months.”
