Chapter 1352: Are You Thanking Me for Last Afternoon or Night?
“Why do I feel that he’s always clinging to you?” Mo Liuxi’s voice seemed to come out of nowhere. “Filming took four months. He visited us five or six times a month and stayed a few days every time.”
Yan Su pivoted on her heel and saw Mo Liuxi and Li Ming standing there.
Ji Nuanyi glanced at him and said, “Because I often worked in other cities. Where we made that film was close to him, so he visited me frequently.”
Mo Liuxi didn’t say anything but went to get some food.
Yan Su and Jiaojiao each picked up a tray and followed him. The breakfast provided by the hotel was extra sumptuous.
Yan Su ran into Mo Liuxi while she was waiting for fried eggs.
She hesitated shortly, then said to him, “Thank you…”
Mo Liuxi raised his brow and said, “For what? For last afternoon or last night?”
Last afternoon…
Even thinking about what happened last afternoon made Yan Su felt ashamed.
She regretted saying thank you to him. “For last night, of course. I’ll slap you in the face if you mention last afternoon again.”
Hearing that fierce language coming from her sweet mouth surprised Mo Liuxi. He remembered her as a shy and gentle girl. Now she was less so.
Did she change? Or was she hiding her true nature before?
“Is that how you’ll thank me?” Mo Liuxi snorted coldly, “You don’t sound sincere at all.”
“Believe it or not.” Yan Su honestly regretted being friendly with him. She shouldn’t be kind to him at all. “The one you bought isn’t handy. Who still uses manual pumps? Most women prefer the automatic ones,” she said.
Mo Liuxi blinked. A short while later, he asked her, “Are you trying to say that you prefer the way it was done last afternoon? It was simple and convenient.”
Yan Su couldn’t believe what she was hearing and turned scarlet. She wanted to throttle him. Had she not been int he cafeteria, she would have smashed the food on her plate in his face.
“Can you not be so disgusting? Didn’t you understand what I said?”
“Girls’ thoughts are so hard to fathom. Who knows what you’re thinking?” Mo Liuxi looked at her red cheeks with a smile. The woman was a mother already. Why was she still so adorable?
He felt utterly uncomfortable thinking about her child, but every time he talked to her, he failed to control his feelings.
“I’m done talking with you,” said Yan Su, letting out a breath.
“I was right, wasn’t I?” Mo Liuxi wore a faint smile.
“Shut up.” Yan Su wanted to get as far away from him as possible.
He gave her a gleeful chuckle.
Li Ming, who happened to be passing by at that moment, couldn’t bear to see that disgusting look on Mo Liuxi’s face.
…
Mo Liuxi returned to the table with a tray full of tempting goodies. He was picky about what he ate. His plate was filled with pasta, some ham, fried eggs, pastries, a bowl of fruit, and a cup of coffee.
The other crew members were used to his enormous appetite. Even so, Ji Nuanyi couldn’t help but sigh, “Seeing your hearty appetite, I believe your cold is gone.”
“The cold was almost cleared up yesterday,” Mo Liuxi took a sip of coffee.
Yang Ziqian said, “How come you didn’t get any milk today? Didn’t you say that the milk here is nice? I forced myself to drink two glasses.”
Yan Su pretended not to hear anything, but lowered her head and focused on her breakfast. But still, Mo Liuxi’s voice went into her ears. “The milk provided by the hotel isn’t as sweet as the milk I had yesterday.”
Yan Su’s eyes were flashing with indignation.
