Mo Liuxi’s footsteps didn’t stop, and the darkness on his handsome face didn’t lessen.
Yan Su tried to block his advance with a spatula. “You can’t possibly forbid me from speaking the truth. Don’t you dare touch me! We’ve only been dating for one day, and you’re already disregarding me.”
“I don’t dare, ” Mo Liuxi’s said.
He suddenly reached out to grab her hand that was holding the spatula. He maneuvered himself behind her and pulled her into his embrace. He anxiously kissed her ear.
“You’re my girlfriend, so I won’t object to anything you say,” Mo Liuxi said.
Yan Su tingled from his kiss and shyly retracted her head. “Is this called no objection? You’re obviously taking revenge on me.”
“I don’t dare.” Mo Liuxi leaned over and kissed her mouth, which couldn’t stop talking.
Yan Su’s legs immediately went soft. He kept holding on to her and toying with her. The spatula in her hands was thrown aside.
Mo Liuxi turned her body around, bent down, and became even more wild and demanding. Yan Su was kissed until her heart skipped a beat.
She really didn’t understand. They had just kissed this morning, so why was he kissing her as if he couldn’t get sick of it?
The pot next to them kept making sizzling sounds. The smell of something burning quickly spread.
She pushed him away and said, “Don’t disturb me. The food is about to burn.”
Mo Liuxi hugged her from behind and said, “Susu, I’ve been wanting to kiss you all day, especially considering how sweet and moving you looked when you just woke up this afternoon in the library.”
Yan Su was stunned for a while. She recalled his heated gaze back then. At the time, she hadn’t thought much of it. She was a little embarrassed.
“I looked very ugly,” she said, remembering how she had been drooling.
“You don’t understand that men and women have different tastes.” Mo Liuxi kissed her on the cheek and said, “Focus on cooking first.”
Yan Su nodded and asked, “Did you get the stitches out when you went to the hospital?”
“The doctor said that the flesh had not finished healing,” Mo Liuxi replied. “I’ll go again in two days. He did change the bandages for me.”
Yan Su nodded. She hoped he recovered quickly.
She continued to cook while Mo Liuxi went to the balcony. He kept coming in and out. He even took the dishes she cooked to the balcony.
“Are we eating on the balcony tonight?” Yan Su asked.
“Yes but don’t worry,” Mo Liuxi said with a smile. “I’ve closed the curtains. Even if there is paparazzi outside, no one can get a shot.”
Yan Su was bewildered. Wasn’t it just a meal? Was there a need to go to the balcony? Although, his balcony was very big.
When she finished making the last dish, she brought it over. When she looked at the scenery on the balcony, she was completely stunned.
Yan Su had been to his balcony before. Though there were many flowers and plants on it, it was well-ordered and not messy. Now, the lights were off. Beside every plant pot was a small candle, and the plants had fluorescent lights on them. On a square table were the dishes and a cake, which had fresh flowers arranged into the letters “L-O-V-E” on it. There was even a retro candle holder beside it.
Mo Liuxi stood beside the table. His face was illuminated by the candlelight. He looked incredibly handsome.
Yan Su’s eyes opened wide. She strongly suspected that she was in the wrong place.
“Are you celebrating your birthday today?” She was so nervous that she didn’t know what to do. “Why didn’t you tell me earlier? I didn’t prepare a gift.”
The soft smile on Mo Liuxi’s face deepened. “Can you only do these things on birthday? Today is the anniversary of our relationship.”
