Chapter 3186 Beyond The Third Realm
"…"
Lest Mistwalker turned away, causing Davis to laugh inwardly.
He was met with the same solemness when he asked Myria. Even if they somehow knew of the fourth realm of Enigmatic Heart Laws, in other words, Level Three Obscure Intent, they refused to say anything about it, exactly like the Five Elements Law, which he speculated to have surpassed the level of Supreme Laws.
"I can't say what it's called, but I can speculate what it would be like when researching the first three intents. The first realm, Elementary Obscure Intent, bestows the State of Empathy where the user is able to feel the emotional vibration of a person within the range of a few meters, allowing them to understand and even provide emotional support, sometimes mediate and resolve or worsen a group's emotions to each other."
"Naturally, this kind of power can be abused depending on the person, but originally, it was said that to acquire Enigmatic Heart Laws, one has to be selfless, magnanimous, understanding yet also be capable of ruin, which is not easy to balance and attain the right unison at the right moment, attaining the state of what would be considered a virtuous saint."
"You meant having the values of a saint?"
"Yes."
Davis interrupted, causing Lest Mistwalker to nod before continuing.
"As for the second realm, Level One Obscure Intent, the State of Awareness allows the user to have a heightened perception over their ability to sense emotions, allowing them to absorb better and even share their own emotions with others. They could even sense danger from the flora or the myriad of things around them, all within a hundred-meter radius."
"But the fact remains that the second realm of Enigmatic Heart Laws is a double-edged sword. This is where the majority of Enigmatic Heart Law users fail to comprehend that absorbing emotions can also corrupt them, and in the end, they fail to understand Heart Intent further and stop growing, sometimes even destroying themselves over sensory overload due to having weaker Wills."
Davis nodded his head with interest.
Till this point, he knew how Enigmatic Heart Laws worked, but he had to fully understand the intricacies of the third realm, the State of Control.
"The third realm, as the name suggests, gives the user the ability to exert control over another's Will, causing them to do the user's bidding for some time depending on the level of their souls. Their range is massive, almost able to control an entire battlefield of a ten thousand meter radius, not to mention they have a significant advantage in battles as they could possibly sever the focus of their opponents and have significant resistance to powerful auras, allowing them to battle without losing focus. Moreover, it is said that they could even exert their Will on Will-less energy, allowing them to control it."
"What did you say…?"
Davis suddenly looked shocked as he turned to look at Lest Mistwalker, his mouth parting in shock.
"I said that they could exert their Will on Willless energy, allowing them to control it."
Lest Mistwalker didn't return with a question but repeated his words as he didn't want to challenge his authority. However, looking at the other party's shocked expression, he wryly smiled, wondering if he had just made him more powerful as he had seemed to understand something.
"I see."
Davis turned his head straight and smiled, "So that's how it is. What about the fourth realm?"
Lest Mistwalker nodded his head, "I can only speculate, so if at the start, it is to 'feel', then 'share', then 'exert', then lastly, it is probably to 'impose'."
"Impose…"
Davis uttered as he also arrived at the same conclusion. To impose… what did it mean?
He could think a lot of things when it came to imposing one's Will over the other, and considering that this realm surpassed Supreme Laws, he knew it would be anything but ordinary. Nonetheless, he couldn't help but keep grinning as he heard a piece of good news, a remedy for a matter that had been plaguing him ever since he entered this realm, or rather, stepped foot into the true immortal world.
The environment here was hostile to him in various ways that even the heaven and earth energy didn't want to do anything with him. This irked him a bit as he felt like an unneeded child despite cursing the heavens multiple times, but since he was at war with it, he accepted its treatment.
But now, he heard that he could exert his Will over Will-less energy, which meant as long as he used Heart Intent on his surroundings, he should be able to absorb the heaven and earth energy that refused to mix with him!
'In theory, this should work…'
Davis imagined, but he decided to try later as it was still a secret no one knew that Anarchic Divergents of a certain tier would not be able to absorb heaven and earth energy. After all, such Anarchic Divergents could be counted on two or four hands.
Soon enough, after crossing various environments and cherry-picking some resources on the way, he caught up with his people.
"Welcome ba- what? Who is he?"
"Oh no! That's the guy who trapped us and tried to slaughter us!"
Sophie grinned as she came forward to welcome him but was surprised that Davis had someone beside him rather than having him as a prisoner. But on the other hand, Klaze Spacewark of the Obsidian Crystal Turtle Clan quickly recognized Lest Mistwalker.
"…"
Lest Mistwalker slightly lowered his hand, not wanting to suddenly receive a death sentence here, but even more than that, the bevy of beauties here couldn't be infringed upon. He felt that it was better to avoid their gazes.
"…!"
But suddenly, he flinched in shock as he saw a scene that made his brain tremble.
Davis was also a bit shaken, but seeing that it was all fine, he heaved a sigh.
"Master…"
Nadia appeared on his shoulder in her cute form, trying to soften him as she rubbed her body against him.
Davis could only chuckle as he patted and rubbed her head, feeling some pride as he once again looked at the Empyreal Monarch he failed to capture lying on the green surface out cold with his face warped in pain, his mouth parted to the opposing ends as though he faced a terrifying attack.
It was none other than the Six-Headed Hydra Upper Realm's Hexadra Clan's last remaining Empyreal Monarch. It looks like he somehow managed to find his people after they left the sealing formation.
Nadia should've informed him an Empyreal Monarch was attacking them, but she didn't, making him shake his head as he knew it should've been on someone's request.
"So you took care of him without even killing even one of his souls?"
Davis gazed at Myria, causing her to look away indifferently.
"You're late."
"I know. I know." Davis spread his hands, smiling at his lovely beauty, who hid her emotions because she had likely dealt with the Empyreal Monarch on the thought of not wanting to disturb him when tens of Empyreal Monarchs were besieging him.
"No worries. I returned with a feast hunted by our new friend over here, who decided to sacrifice himself for our greater good. He also gave the Celestial Luminescence Pill to me willingly, not to mention even go as far as to drop on his knees and hand over an Autarch Grade Forging Inheritance belonging to the Forgeheart Peak Upper Realm. In fact, he pleaded that if I didn't accept his storage rings, he would kill himself from shame."
"…!?"
Sophie was visibly shocked, while the others also looked at Lest Mistwalker with some doubt as Davis spoke in a joking tone.
"…"
But naturally, Lest Mistwalker wanted to hide in a hole and cry as he never felt such humiliation in his life.
