Chapter 3343 Consultation
"I'm never too busy for you, Myria."
Davis shook his head with a sly smile, "If I am too busy, you can threaten me and take me to bed like you always do."
"In your dreams."
Myria responded in an indifferent tone.
From the beginning, she didn't break character even when Ellia called Davis her father, remaining calm instead of going red all the way to her ears like she would usually do as she didn't have prior experience receiving and giving mutual love.
However, this was merely a facade; only Ellia knew how Myria was feeling right now, as she could feel her erratic heartbeat while she was holding her.
"…"
On the other hand, Bing Luli, who stood behind Myria, couldn't help but keep a smiling face as she saw how close they had become enough to flirt. The Myria she knew would've flipped and kicked him out already, but here she was, maintaining an unmoved frame, trying as much as possible not to be swayed by his words.
"Well— we can try to wait a week, as you said, but if you don't want to, just send me a message."
Davis gestured before he flicked his sleeve and threw third-tier karmic virtue on Myria and Ellia.
Both of them shivered ever so lightly, instantly feeling strange.
Quickly, they realized what had happened, but Davis reacted as though nothing happened and opened his mouth.
"Myria, I need your help with something."
He neared her and sat beside her, causing her to turn tense.
"Can you tell me what I should do with these…?"
He took her hand and placed it on his forehead, giving her unbridled access to his soul sea.
Myria blinked. Seeing that it was related to cultivation, she regained her bearings, checked his soul sea, and eventually found his soul essence in a few seconds. It was not difficult to find as he gave her access. However, it was extremely obscure, not allowing her to see what was there, but she imagined that this wasn't Davis's doing but the Grimoire of Fate's doing.
She wanted to have a conversation with it since it was said to be a juvenile spirit, but she focused on the matter at hand, finding a foreign four-colored essence swirling with each other as they were surrounded by life energy.
Instantly, she knew it was Tina's primal yin essence that stemmed from her Four Elements Physique.
"There's also Dalila's fire-attributed primal yin essence and Schleya's blood-attributed primal yin essence in my dantian… so, what should I do with them?"
Davis sent a soul transmission through their physical touch and also couldn't help but look at her beautiful face, slightly viewable behind her veil from this close, wanting to just leap and bite her cherry lips.
Myria trembled ever so lightly as she felt her soul resonate with him when he sent that soul transmission. It was like a whisper from closer to her ear, tickling her in a sensual manner, causing her to take her hand back before she responded.
"I thought you would've already digested it…"
Her voice didn't seem to be offended by his tasteless question even though it was related to cultivation, allowing Davis to inwardly heave a sigh of relief as he continued.
"Evidently, I didn't, as I guessed that they might introduce new problems to my specialized physiques." Davis shrugged, "I even preserved them, intending to give back to them, but I wanted to wait until I heard your opinion. Of course, I'd like to consider Ellia's opinion as well."
Davis quickly added at the last part as soon as he saw Ellia narrow her eyes. After all, she had the same knowledge as Myria, so to pursue Myria's opinion over hers could've slighted her.
Ellia nodded with satisfaction while Myria smilingly shook her head and explained.
"Your worries are understandable since this is where many tragedies take place."
"What do you mean?" Davis blinked.
"Marriages born out of love could sometimes be a curse as the parties involved could have opposing attributes that make the other party recede or even crippled in cultivation due to absorbing energy that shouldn't mix or belong there, the most common being ice and fire."
"This is mostly mitigated by the yin of the female and the yang of the male working together in tandem to accommodate the opposing energies, but eventually, the core would reach a limit where it might crack because of the energy that wasn't supposed to be there, giving birth to flaws that may or may not limit a cultivator's growth, especially when they try to breakthrough."
Davis reacted with an understandable nod while Myria continued.
"You were right in not absorbing their primal yin essences, although you can absorb Schleya and Dalila's without a problem since blood energy is universal and fire energy is applicable to you. As for Tina's primal yin essence, let me help you."
"Thanks."
Davis turned around and sat with crossed legs on the spot, causing Myria to blink, but she also did the same and reached out her hand as her fingertip extended and touched Davis's forehead again.
From the tip of her index finger, two energies seeped out in a serene manner. She could sense that she didn't meet with any resistance, causing her heart to be elated as it spoke volumes of the trust he had in her.
Her life and death energy split into four different traces and caught the four elements primal yin essence. They tangled and swirled before the split energies once again rejoined into life and death energy within a few seconds, leaving Davis shocked as his heart froze.
"You… did you just cause the four elements to turn into life and death energy…?"
Davis uttered in shock, causing Myria to smile proudly.
"Indeed." She began to explain, "Fire, earth, metal, and wood. Of the four, wood represents growth, renewal, and vitality, symbolizing the birth of life. Earth is stable yet also nurturing, allowing life and death to remain anchored, and metal can signify sharpness and severance, separating life and transitioning into death. Finally, fire turns everything into ashes, completing the cycle of life and death. Using my life and death energy and having a profound understanding of Fire Laws, Earth Laws, Metal Laws, and Wood Laws, I am able to alter their source."
"…"
Davis sat there stunned while Ellia gawked on hearing Myria's explanation.
'Holy shit…' She inwardly exclaimed, knowing she wouldn't be capable of this feat.
No wonder Davis sought Myria, allowing her to once again understand that her mother was far better than her and she had only inherited the knowledge and not experienced it and made it her weapon.
"Of course, this kind of maneuver would not be possible without you sealing this energy and allowing it to be nurtured within your soul sea. This is now a life and death essence that- hmm!"
Davis held Myria's cheeks as he pounced and pressed his lips on hers, praising.
"Good girl."
His voice resounded in her mind as he made her part her lips and took her in her love essence gently with his tongue before pulling back and caressing her head.
"…"
Myria sat there dazed, wondering what had happened.
Bing Luli's ears were red as she had her head turned around, unable to believe what he had just done. It was so inappropriate to do this in front of her, an outsider like her, but it also made her think if he didn't mind her being around him.
Davis thanked Myria again by placing a kiss on her forehead and leaving the hall, finding a random chamber inside her mansion to quickly digest the life and death essence that was dispersing at a faster rate than he could save.
Clearly, although she was able to transform the energy, the source was still fire, earth, metal, and wood.
With enough time, they might return to what they were or disperse, so Davis quickly understood that time was of the essence and began refining Tina's primal yin essence.
After a few hours, Davis trembled ever so lightly.
His soul undulations burst forth, causing the mansion to tremble ever so lightly, which made Myria and Ellia look at each other.
"Unbelievable… he broke through in prowess…"
Ellia uttered with shock, sensing a base prowess of ten levels, which meant when he used his reincarnation energy techniques like his Spear of Damnation, he might be able to reach twelve levels higher in battle prowess!
Her muscles couldn't help but become tense as she jumped around in joy.
