Chapter 3262 Primeval Entities
"Impossible… I heard you were the one who brought the Grimoire of Fate from the Primeval Universe Ruins. It wasn't supposed to be two treasures but one… it was a big news that shook the Galaxies, so there's no way I would be mistaken about it…"
Myria shook her head, her voice full of disbelief.
"…?"
Primeval Universe Ruins? Davis wondered what in the heavens was that!
"It is true that I managed to obtain the Grimoire of Fate when I ventured into the Primeval Universe Ruins. However, everyone who ventured there along with me knew what they encountered and also knew why the two treasures fused into the Grimoire of Fate. You two are too young and weak to come across the heaviness of that kind of information, so I'll spare you the trouble."
"…"
Davis and Myria glanced at each other, their hearts sinking as it seemed the Grimoire of Fate, Fallen Heaven's origin, was not simple.
"Fallen Heaven, you know anything about this matter?"
"It's my first time even hearing about my origin, so spare me the suspicion. I'm just as clueless as you are about these two Primeval Law Treasures being a part of me, but it makes sense as to why there's a gap in my understanding of my powers even though I'm the artifact spirit."
Davis asked with some hesitation, but Fallen Heaven quickly responded. For some reason, he found its tone to be somewhat proud.
Nonetheless, Myria quickly updated him on what the Primeval Universe Ruins was.
Apparently, it was named the Dark Universe at first, but after it collided with the Three-Layered Universe and seeped in, everyone came to know it as one of Primeval Universe Ruins as it already seemed to have its life come to an end at a very early stage; its space extremely chaotic filled with incredible and fatal dangers.
It was vestige of what was once a thriving universe outside the Three-Layered Universe but now was nothing but a graveyard for Empyreans, Monarchs and the likes, not to mention the source of all the Vacuous Beasts that appears in the Three-Layered Universe.
'Fuck! So that's where those retards sent the Vacuous Beasts from…'
In addition to the memories of the heavenly geniuses he plundered in the Astral Forgeheart Minor Realm, Davis finally understood how Accursed Warlock Fraser Herrion and Wicked Tamer Jaxon Harrow managed to send these Vacuous Beasts into the First Haven World.
Even those incredible geniuses didn't seem to know anything about the Primeval Universe Ruins other than the fact that Vacuous Beasts were a scourge and appeared from somewhere. There was no need to say much about the Primeval Law Treasures as some didn't even come across their own faction's Legacy Treasures.
It was top secret, privy only to Empyrean-level characters and some Immortal Emperor characters in important positions.
The World Master moved her lips, her melodious voice emanating out.
"Using the Primeval Law Treasures without reaching a certain height in cultivation will cause karmic burden to fall on you. However, the Grimoire of Fate is different. A simple action of using it will amount to a lot of unknown changes that go unnoticed by the heavens, causing it to be angered. The more the changes, the more the chances that the Grimoire of Fate could be sent out of the universe in the blink of an eye if it's caught."
"Is this because it fused in the Primeval Universe Ruins that it is no longer a part of the Three-Layered Universe and is considered an Outlandish Cursed Treasure?"
Myria asked, causing the World Master to nod.
"You could say that. Objects obtained from the Primeval Universe Ruins are indeed Outlandish Cursed Treasures disliked by the heavens, but the Grimoire of Fate is a special one."
"Armed with this knowledge, can you still say that you will entrust everything to this man?"
The World Master gestured at Davis before she waved her hand, projecting an adorable picture of Calypsea.
"Even if the heaven and earth flipped, this kind of being wouldn't be born into existence, yet the treasure he holds was capable of that. His plans are unknown, and even if he has none, he might be able to regain his true memories at the point of his prime, perhaps after becoming an Immortal Emperor or an Empyrean, and plot the death of his close ones like he's eradicating those who no longer benefit him. At that time, even regretting would be nothing more than a dream."
"…"
Myria released her breath.
She was still processing information about the Grimoire of Fate, so the last few words said by the World Master jolted her out of her reverie.
Turning to look at Davis, she couldn't help but smile.
"Then I have no regrets."
She extended out her hand, causing Davis to hold it with a moved smile. The both of them cast a look at the World Master again, causing her to blink.
"Unfortunately, time is ticking, and I cannot house an Anarchic Divergent like you, as it is far too dangerous for my realm."
"I-"
"No matter the arguments, I have reached a point in time where I can no longer tolerate passivity."
Davis wanted to express his desire, but the World Master shook her head. She flicked her fingers, and the image of Calypsea collapsed, causing Davis to shudder if something happened to her, but in the place of Calypsea's image appeared a strange man.
Myria narrowed her eyes while Davis wondered who this man was when the World Master suddenly pressed her palm towards the ground.
"!!!"
Davis merely saw that man in the projection smash into the ground and turn into meat paste that very instant.
"Wha-"
The World Master repeated those movements to four more individuals, squashing all of them like she was crushing ants.
"With this, that annoyance known as Accursed Warlock is no longer here, and so is the other four."
*Splat!~* *Splat!~* *Splat!~* *Splat!~*
Many projections appeared side by side, and Davis saw all of them crushed underneath an invisible force that they didn't even see coming!
Vile Enchanter Kieran Hartley…
Wicked Tamer Jaxon Harrow…
And a few others whom he didn't even know… all dead. At least, their seeds were completely erased from this world.
"!!!"
Davis was horrified, unable to believe how powerful the World Master was. She was killing like she was Fallen Heaven, not minding the range of the opponents as though the distance between them didn't exist. It was only after a few seconds that she put her hand down and opened her eyes, her gaze piercing into his very depths, jolting his soul.
*Bzzz~*
A black scroll manifested outside as Fallen Heaven appeared.
"…!"
Myria's gaze went wide, her heart shuddering as she saw the apex treasure that presumably stood at the top of the food chain make its appearance. The World Master's gaze also flickered as she didn't expect Fallen Heaven to have such an appearance as it was vastly different from how she had seen it before.
