Chapter 3359 Deserve To Die
A day had passed since I had come back from the ruin, and now I was flying at my top speed.
My clones are 90% sure where we are, which is quite a good guess, and since it is the case, I had stopped holding back and flying at my full speed.
This is an open land that nobody controls, and, except for this cold, there is no danger here. So, I could move fast as possible, without caring for the world as the closes settlement I would find is the edge of this place.
Soon the evening came, and I kept flying till the moons begin to shine brightly before taking out an abode.
I placed it in a sufficiently hidden spot before entering inside.
While there is a little chance, anyone will see it with its stealth formation active. I don't want to take risks, especially when I am in treatment, which is my weakest state.
I entered my abode and went to the practice room directly.
Earlier, I had planned to find a settlement first, before resuming the treatment, but it will take some time for that happens and I couldn't wait that long.
I have a timeline to keep and like to finish with it before I finish with the inheritance.
Three and half hours later, I finished and went to shower, before eating the dinner my clone made. Once that was done, I lay down on the monster's hide and fell asleep, waking up four hours later.
I freshened and sat on the sofa, before closing my eyes.
This time, I didn't go to my library and work on my inheritance, as I did during the treatment, and instead joined my core.
In the center of the worktable, there is a big cauldron in which a greenish-purple herbal solution is boiling. In that solution are hundreds of stone pieces. That had been absorbing the herbal energies for nearly five days.
Once they finished, my clone and will work on it. The result came out of it will be the final product.
A few minutes passed, and the fire turned off. My clones unloaded the whole cauldron, with liquid and all on the large worktable.
I looked at pieces of stone. They looked like any other stones that one would find on the street, but if one looked at them carefully through their abilities. They will see on each stone, there are tiny runes that couldn't be seen with the eyes.
I looked at the stone, before choosing one and placed it on an anvil, and begin working on it with small hammered covered in runes.
It took me five and a half hours to finish the piece and I stop, letting my clone take over, while I went to the library.
There, I studied the runes for a few hours.
When I walked out on the surface, the sun was shining in the sky. I flew up before shooting at full speed.
Nero is in front of me, scouting the way ahead. It might be safe, but cautiousness is necessary. Who knows, I might come across an Earth Sovereign who didn't like my face.
It seemed like a far-fetched thing, but it happens. I heard stories about powerhouses doing that, simply because they didn't like others.
Power corrupts. It is not here, but I have seen it in my world too.
Though there, things were a little better. As enemies were in front of me, many organizations were quite strict with such things, aside from the bastards from the sky saber.
Here, that enemy is in the background. It had not occupied their world, and they would only come across it if they were unlucky.
I have come across many sovereigns in the ruin, who had seen the Grimms first time there.
Though, I wonder how things are going now, with Grimms being defeated. Whether the conflicts between the organization had started and what the academy was doing.
Things should be fine. It had been less than two years since we all left.
The people who are in control are experienced and till they are there; things should be relatively fine.
The Grimms were a great unifying factor and sometimes I wish we hadn't defeated them. Though these thoughts only stay in my mind for a fraction of seconds before I crush them.
The Grimms were the greatest scourge of our world, and they deserve everything they have got.
I could even say they have got off quite lightly.𝞰𝗈𝓋𝗲𝓵𝑈𝕊𝑏.𝑪𝗈𝓶
Nothing could justify their presence, not even the unity and I hope, we wiped them out of the universe too.
Though, that is not a simple thing as there are not only Grimms alone but also their masters and creators. The abominations are the real threats and are strong as the Titans.
They have killed many Titans, including the supreme Titan.
I pushed those thoughts and focused on the journey, but it was hard to do it, seeing everywhere I look, I saw white.
Soon, the day passed, and the night came, and once again; I took a break and resumed my journey in the morning.
Three days passed.
Now it had been six and a half days since I had returned, and I have kind of become sick seeing the endless white.
Thankfully, it will end soon; in one or two days, I will reach the end of this icy waste and see something other than a while.
I am grateful that I have my core and all the responsibilities within, or I wouldn't have been calm as I am right now.
Hours passed, and soon it was afternoon, and I was flying above the mountain when saw the stream. It is tiny, but put a smile on my face; it is the first stream I had seen in this place or anything in a liquid state.
It had been so cold that everything had frozen solid in this waste.
A few more hours passed and when suddenly, Nero's voice rang through my head.
'Father, I am sensing something,' said Nero, and my eyes lit up. 'What is it?' I asked, focused on the connection.
I thought he would move ahead, but to my surprise, he had gone down to the ice and a few minutes later appeared in what seemed to be a cavern.
Hun!
When I saw what is in the cavern, a surprise couldn't help but appear in my heart.
There is a building. It is a green-colored square-shaped building, which is a five-story tall and had been guarded by two Initial Sovereigns.
One is a horned man, and the other is a Dog Beastman with stripes all over his body and both of them guarding the entrance.
It made me curious and also Nero, who moved toward the building. It is quite protected, but with Nero's abilities, he was able to get inside without alerting the natives guarding the entrance.
He entered inside, and the curiosity on my face turned to horror.
I saw the natives doing things that are worse than Grimms. Seeing it, blazing anger erupted in my heart.
These bastards deserve to die, all of them and I will kill them.
