Chapter 2722 Return
Click!
The click rang out, and without wasting any second, Lady Yui pushed open the door, and we walked out into the foyer/living room.
“So, it was the fourth door,” said Rhea, and I nodded. The teleportation formation had taken us to the fourth hall from the first hall.
“What do we do next?” asked Lady Yui, “First we rest, then we will think,” I said and immediately took out my spatial abode before entering inside with two.
“You can choose any room you want,” I said to the two and walked into the first room and inside; I directly laid on the bed before destroying all the herb’s power into me; the moment I did, extremly tiredness hit me, and I fell into the sleep before I knew it.
I woke up three hours later, feeling completely refreshed; all the tiredness in me had vanished, and most of my energies had also recovered.
I did not stay on the bed for long; I got up and removed my clothes, including my jacket, before walking into the shower; I stayed there for fifteen minutes before walking out. I wanted to little longer and enjoy that magically water more, but I could not waste any time.
Lady Yui and Rhea hadn’t come out; seeing that, I closed my eyes and went into my core and began cooking there.
In twenty-five minutes, I cooked an elaborate meal before bringing it out to the dinner table.
“Ahh…it smells heavenly,” said Rhea as I had just finished setting up the table, “Lady Yui, have you eaten the food made by Micheal?” asked Rhea, “No, but I have heard the praises of it; it is said that Grandmaster Zaar is one of the foremost culinary experts of our world,” she said as she looked at the table with the glittering eyes.
“Please, join me,” I invited them; they sat across, and we began to eat.
“Grandmaster, those praises of your culinary skills are really not empty, lacking even,” said Lady Yui a minute later, tasting many of the dishes. “I am glad you are enjoying the meal Lady Yui,” I said.
The praise from her means a lot; she is not some common powerhouse but a High-Grandmaster who is very close to reaching the peak. She had experienced the many things eaten by the culinary experts of her organization. So, the praise coming from her mouth is not empty.
Within fifteen minutes, everything had been licked clean, which is not surprising considering we hadn’t eaten much in three days.
“Lady Yui, Rhea, I hope you both will go back to the castle; Lord Yazdi is alone defending that place,” I said. Ashlyn is currently handling things, but even with her power, she could delay things if she did not want to reveal much. So, I want them into the castle, reinforcing Lord Yazdi.
“Grandmaster Zaar, I have a duty to protect you; your life alone is worth more than our forces here, including Lord Yazdi,” she said, and I could only sigh.
“You are right, Lady Yui, but as you have seen, I did not need protection; I am well capable of protecting myself, but if you and Rhea did not return to the castle soon, there will be no human remain in this ruin that would need a protection, including Lord Yazdi,” I said and silence descended.
“All right; I will leave with Rhea,” she said with a sigh, surprising me; I had throught she would need some more convincing before she was ready to leave.
“I suppose you will return to that hall?” she asked, and I nodded.
“That place is extremly dangerous, but it also contains numerous treasures that will be helpful to me and others; we will need them to increase our strength to the max before that thing appear,” I said with a sigh.
To be honest, I really don’t want to go back there, but there are too many treasures there and my enticement for them increse further now that I know they were from the storage ring. One storage container is the most precious thing one has, and while I have found a good thing, I am confident even greater things are waiting for me there, and I have to get them.
“Here, another crystal with the keys in case something happened to the crystal I gave to Rhea,” I said and handed Lady Yui the crystal. “Thank you, Lord Zaar,” she said as she took the crystal.
Click!
A minute later, I heard the door of the foyer click before Lady Yui pushed open the door, giving me a glimpse of beautiful bone art pieces on the other side.
“Take care, Grandmaster,” she said and took a step toward the hall with Rhea, “You too, Lady Yui, Rhea,” I said, and a few seconds later, the door behind them. They will be fine, especially now that they have gone through the advancement.
There are very few beings in this ruin that have the power to harm them.
I did not stay thinking for long and appeared in front of the fourth door and began moving the bones, which seemed to be from the tiny, but powerful reptiles.
Click!
Finally, about a minute later, the door clicked, and I pushed it open before entering inside, and the door closed behind me, turning the whole place completely dark. Though to me, it is not completely dark, the marks I have spread are completely clear to me.
I know where the teleportation formation where I had appeared is and also the body of the owner of this place. I have sprinkled the marks on every way I have walked, and by that could tell this place is quite big, which means the greater treasures and resources.
These marks will also help me quickly run toward the door if things get really dangerous.
I looked around before choosing a direction and moving toward it, and within three minutes, I had found the first treasure. I looked at its condition and stored it before moving again.
This time, I am in much better condition, and my pace of moving is more than double speed than before; as now, I do not have two people behind me who I have to look after. As the time passed, my speed increse further, and I began to find the greater at much greater speed.
Within an hour, I have collected more than twenty treasures and resources that discount the law bones I continue to find.
One of the artifacts is quite nifty and a great gift for Marina, with which she will be able to diagnose the patient with much ease.
Hun!
Another hour and a half passed when I finally found the thing I had been looking for, though it seemed utterly useless. More than half of which seemed to be eaten by the energies and the whole half damaged by age, with no protection, it is already a miracle it had been able to survive for such long.
I looked at the damaged book, I should throw it away considering its state, but after thinking for a while, I decided to store it back in my core.
If lucky, I might be able to salvage the few pages of it and every bit of the knowledge count.
