Chapter 3609 Out of the Realm
"DIE!"
I heard the soft sound, but it felt like its mighty roar before I saw hundreds of meteors coming toward me.
"Fuck!" I cursed loudly, seeing the attack, and began to regret killing the Grimm. I thought the Sky Sovereign would be angry, but hadn't thought it would be this angry, that they would attack while fighting for its life.
Immediately, the string shield appeared above me, for all the good it would do.
It is not an attack; a single shield would be able to defend. Still, it is better to simply die, without doing anything.
The attack was powerful and swift. It appeared above me in a second.
Hun!
I gulped down the saliva and poured every bit of power I had in the shields, when suddenly. Aqua-blue energy appeared around me and formed a dome, covering me inside.
BANNNNG BANNNNG BANNNNG
The moment it did, the meteors began to crash against the dome, and it shook, but other than that, these horrifying attacks didn't seem to do anything else.
In a few seconds, everything was over, and when I looked around, I was shocked to see the destruction the attack had caused.
I was shocked, but I was also ecstatic.
I had survived. I had doubts whether the Sky Sovereign would save me. He saved me and I am going to thank him later personally.
The dome didn't disappear immediately; it stayed around for two and a half minutes before it disappeared. By that, the energy of the Sky Sovereign attack had dispersed enough that an Earth Sovereign of power could walk through it safely.
I didn't waste any time and moved toward the Grimms; there are less than 20% of them are being held back, but that is enough for me.
For the next-forty minutes, I have killed five more Grimms, before they are all able to escape. The last ones to escape were the Sky Sovereigns, and those who attacked me kept looking at me till the end.
I even waved at it, which seemed to have made it even angrier.
"The battle is over; it is time to leave," said the leader in a tired voice.
Everyone is tired and grieving. We have won the battle, but many people have sacrificed their lives for it.
Still compared to the Grimms; our losses are much less, which is the only solace of the battle.
Buzz!
A few minutes later, a loud buzz rang out as reactivated the gate and people began to walk out of it one by one.
Soon it was my turn, and I stepped out of the gate and found myself coming out of the same gate I had entered. It is not the exit; the exit is different, but they routed us from that exit.
They have done a wonderful job, that few Sky Sovereigns would be able to detect it.
The only reason I did was due to my sensitivity to the spatial element.
Thud!
I fell down, and this was not an act; I was really so weak that I couldn't stand. I am also feeling pain; it is more painful than I had thought.
I had deactivated the healing formation, and the moment it did; this weakness crashed down on me like a flood, bringing sharp pain all across my body.
I had already activated all the recovery formations, but it would be two to three days before I could recover fully.
As for walking, it will take me around a minute and half an hour, before I could be able to use my energy.
"Are you ok?" asked the stone-skinned woman beside me. "I am fine; just suffering from the effects of the forbidden method," I replied, which she already guessed, but still there was pity in her eyes, along with understanding.
"Do you mind if I help you?" she asked. "I would really appreciate it," I replied. It also helps, that she is from the Tor.
"The realm turned out to be more dangerous than I had thought, but I am glad you are all able to come back alive and even gain victory over those filthy invaders," said an old man with metallic hair.
The Sky Sovereigns talked for a few minutes before our members separated.
The energy of the Sky Sovereign covered us as we walked out of the huge hall and, once again, familiar hills came into the view.
We kept flying for more than an hour, before stopping and a couple of seconds after that, our badges began to shine.
I was watching the badge when everything turned black, and when it had cleared, I found myself on the familiar disk.
"Thank you," I said to the stone-skinned woman and walked toward the Sky Sovereigns. There is still a weakness in my body, but I can walk fine, I could also use some energy.
"Sky Sovereign, thank you for saving my life," I said to the man. "It was my pleasure," he said.
"Please, take this as a small thanks from me," I said as the wooden box appeared in my hand. "I didn't save you from anything in return. Your thanks is more than enough for me," he said.
"I will feel better if you accept this small gesture," I said, and he looked at me. "I will accept," he said and accepted the wooden box.
Click!
I turned and walked away, while he opened the box, and immediately, his expression changed.
A small smile appeared on my face seeing that. I have tested his energies, and that thing would be useful to him.
We were led to the different rooms, and some questions were asked, and some tests were done. It seemed a little excessive, seeing we had come back, fighting a big battle, but these are necessary precautions.
Many times, cultists, agents of Grimms and other enemies infiltrate through such methods.
It is good to be cautious. Especially for Tor, which had a lot of enemies.
…
Click!
I opened the door of my penthouse and walked inside.
I wanted to shower and eat, but instead, I cleaned myself with my energy and fell on the bed.
Falling into the sleep, within a second.
It was sixteen hours and seventeen and a half minutes later. My eyes fluttered open and the first I felt was weakness. Not of the body, which is feeling fantastic, but of power, and it made me feel panic for a second.
For a few months in the realm, I have been in a heightened state of caution and now, suddenly, the safety is hard to adjust.
I took a deep breath and felt my growling stomach, which forced me to get out of bed.
I quickly freshened up and showered, before walking about of the room and sat by the wall, watching the view, while the sumptuous dinner appeared in front of me.
I looked at the view for a second more, before digging into the lunch.
I polished it all in a second minute, before laying back on the chair and turning toward the beautiful view. I missed it and will be watching it for quite some time.
I won't be leaving the organization for a few months.
I have reached the limit in strengthening, and I planned to devote my time, to reaching the limit in the forbidden power and also work on my inheritance.
There is also a second method, I have to practice.
It is very important; it is a constitutional method, but more importantly, it is a method that will help me make my breakthrough safer; it is the reason why, I had chosen the method over the other, powerful ones.
I watched a view for a few minutes while reading all the messages I had backlogged.
Hun!
A few minutes later, a surprise flashed in my eyes. It is a new message, which arrived nearly three hours ago.
'It is three days later,' I thought, before closing the message.
Soon, I finished with all the messages and closed my eyes; a moment later, I was in my core, which had completely transformed.
The last time I had come here personally; it was not this verdant.
Now, every plant across the two islands is Earth-Sovereign. Over 99.9% of them are at High-Earth Sovereigns, while some rare ones are Peak Earth Sovereigns.
I had focused the essence energies from Peak Earth-Sovereigns on them and was glad to see the progress they have made. I am going to need some of them for my breakthrough in the next few months.
One is essential for some reforging, which I want to do, and I will start once I have finished making changes in the formation and designs.
'I had really killed quite a lot of Grimms,' I thought, looking at everything, before focusing on the huge pile of storage, which I hadn't opened.
'It is time,' I thought and walked toward it giddily like children do toward the presents.
To me, they are presents, each containing massive numbers of mini presents in them.
