Chapter 2517 Crafting Nine Blood Burning Essence II
"How long do you think the process will last?" Lady May asked; Lord Hunt had stayed for only an hour before he left, and lady May appeared not long ago, though she had only appeared in her projection and not in a real body like Lord Hunt.
"Grandmaster Katarina said it might take more than twelve hours," I replied; it had already been four hours, and they were still in the process of refining the blood; they were using their methods, formations, and various artifacts for that.
It is a long, complicated process; my alchemical skills, which barely touch Master level, would not have been enough to craft something this complicated.
"The skills of these alchemists are quite good; Grandmaster Salvador said that we might get one or two Grandmaster alchemists if we are lucky by year's end," said Lady May, and she seemed quite happy about it.
"The constant crafting of resources is helping alchemists advance rapidly at all levels; there is really a high chance that we will get a Grandmaster alchemist in a few months," I said.
Both Jim and Grandmaster Salvador had given me the list of people who could make an advancement. The people on the list have already capable of crafting grandmaster class alchemical products, but their accuracy is low, and for one declare Grandmaster alchemist, they need high accuracy.
Thankfully, they could practice to their heart's content due to constant orders.
It is not just Master alchemist but also every grade of alchemist from the King grade that is experiencing rapid advancement in their craft.
The constant orders helping everyone is refining and advancing their arts; Grandmaster Salvador said he was shocked at the pace they were advancing; even in wartime, such advancement is extremly rare.
Though, I am not surprised; we are emptying the vaults of the Pyramid at a visible pace, and every day, there would be fewer resources on the wall, and even after hundred hunting teams fill those vaults, they are not replacing the resources at speed it is emptying.
Currently, we are not having many problems, but in a few months, the resources of the Pyramid will run dry, and we will be in real trouble.
I did not trouble myself about it; the Pyramid's job is to provide me the resources if they want the project to continue.
Two more hours had passed by, and lady May had also disappeared, and now, I was the only one who was watching the alchemist's craft. Which I am not only watching but also recording; there is so much to learn here.
Especially Grandmaster Katarina, she is extremly skilled, far more than Grandmaster Salvador, whom I had considered to be the greatest alchemist we had. I had taken some lessons from him but did not get to practice what I learn as much as I liked.
I hope I will get that time when I practice the method in the scroll; if I am able to successfully practice it, it will make a lot of things very easy.
It should also help me against the challenge of the Hermes library, which I had failed so spectacularly a few days ago, and now, there is only one chance had remained, and I don't want to try it before I become completely sure.
Five more hours passed, making it half a day since they had begun, but I did not see they would be finishing in a minute or two.
It will take hours, seeing the most dangerous process has just begun; the refinement of the monster core. There is not one but nine of them, with one from the Grand Lord class Monster.
The process seemed simple enough, but it is not; it is not. It is immensely complicated and dangerous; if that Grand Lord class core exploded, then anyone could forget about surviving.
The monster cores have entered nine transparent furnaces, which are carved with dense runic glyphs. These furnaces were not made of glass but a special metal, and Jim had said they were specially made to refine the monster cores.
As the core entered the furnaces, the runic glyphs on the formation lit up, and they began the process of refinement.
I could see the gazes of all alchemists become concentrated as they followed the rapid orders from two Grandmasters.
Jim and Grandmaster Salvador had taken six Master class alchemists and focused on refining the four Grandmaster class cores each, while Grandmaster Katarina was alone focused on refining the core of the Grand Lord.
The process is slow, but one could not be hasty with it; a single mistake might explode, and that would be a colossal loss of the resources.
Three hours passed when finally, the refined essence of scaled tejesaures core began to pile up at the bottom of the furnace.
The core of scaled tejesaures was bigger than my palm, but the refined essence of its core was not even the size of my thumb.
A few minutes after, the essence of the scaled tejesaures core is refined, and the essences of the other cores have also begun to come out one after another; within forty minutes, the essences of all Grandmaster class cores have come out of the bottom of the furnaces.
Now, only the essence of the Grand Lord class Monster remained to be refined. Grandmaster Katarina is completely focused but seeing the progress will take time.
Alchemists rested for a few minutes before they started on the other preparation; the process had reached its final stage. The moment Grandmaster Catarina is finished, the real process will begin, in which I will participate.
I may not have the alchemical skills required for most of these processes, but I do have the skills that require for the final stages. Even Jim pales slightly compared to me in that department.
It took one and half hours after the rest finished with the core refinement for Grandmaster Katarina to finish refining the core of the Grand Lord class monster.
It was magnificent; the moment she took out its refined essence, it suppressed all of us, with half of the Master alchemist fainting instantly under its mighty suppression.
