"All cleared," I said, and walls began to break into the runes and retreat back into my core. I have finally finished destroying every bit of residual curse that had remained after the explosion.
That residue was powerful; it would have given me hell if a tinies bit had remained in my body.
Soon, all the runes returned to my core, and I have turned back to the walls, resuming the recording of the murals.
To my surprise, I immediately found two glass walls with my seals; one mural on them immediately connected to a group of murals, taking their number to eighteen from seventeen.
I did not stay on my spot after I recorded; Io moved immediately; I am moving even faster than before, not staying in place for even a moment.
It is dangerous, but there is no other choice; going slow and cautious wouldn't help me against the enemies like the Bearman. As for those below it, I am well capable of dealing with them, even now when I am not at my 100%.
Before I knew it, two days had passed since I had stepped into the maze, and my chances of breaking it seemed much better than yesterday, but I still it was lesser than I would like.
I should not be feeling that, considering it is only two days, but I couldn't help it.
Hun!
Eighteen more hours passed, and I had collected another ten thousand new murals and over a thousand murals from the glass walls with the seals; it was that made me stop.
Currently, I am in my core, looking at nearly two thousand murals I have gotten from the glittering glass walls with the seals.
My eyes are especially looking at the group of murals to which I had just added another mural.
Before, there were two groups of thirty-eight and sixty-one murals; the mural I found connected both groups, making it the biggest mural line with hundred murals.
There was no magic, no light when a hundred murals connected, but I felt the story coming alive. It transfixed me, but most importantly, for the first time, I felt like I had found a genuine clue to get out.
I looked at what I presumed was a clue before turning to over thirty thousand public murals and began to search for the thing which this clue was trying to show me.
It is a hard task, even with all the advantages; scanning through these thousands of general murals is no easy thing, but it is a way through which I could find a way out of the mural.
An hour passed, and I am still looking; mural after mural passed by my eyes, but I was not seeing what I wanted to see. I wish I could use my clone, but it is busy with inheritance.
"Found you!" I screamed as I looked at the mural.
As I had expected, I had found what I was looking for, but it is incomplete, which did not surprise me. If I am not wrong, I have only found a single piece; there are three more pieces I would need to find before I could get the way out of this mural.
I did not waste any time and moved and began collecting more and more murals.
I am happy to be finally found a concrete way, though there is also slight frustration about being wrong.
?
Till now, I have thought that general murals are part of one vast story; I just need to find enough pieces to connect to the story, but I had obviously been wrong. The mural murals are not part of one vast story but a clutter, a useful clutter that holds the hint to get out of this maze.
Another hour passed, and then a few more minutes when suddenly a smile lit across my face; it was not because of the hint but an even bigger thing.
I have finally finished with my inheritance.
After more than two years, I have finally finished with the Grandmaster Inheritance; it is the longest time I had ever taken to create any level of Inheritance, but the time I took was worth it as now, I can finally say that I am satisfied with what I have made.
If I had wanted, I could have made a breakthrough months ago; I would have succeeded and had gotten the power of the Grand Lord, but after seeing things like elemental core, I was not satisfied with it and continued working.
For months, the work bore no fruit till I came here and went to that place; with all the books, tomes, and scroll along with hundreds of examples of inheritance, I found what I was looking for, and after a few months, succeeded in creating the inheritance that I could be fully satisfied with.
I wish I could stop and celebrate, but I do not have time; I have to keep moving and collecting the murals.
It is not the only thing I did; I have killed every Grimm I have come across; some I have even to the core as a guest; they have provided quite a lot of help, making my clone even more verdant.
Twenty-two minutes after I had created the inheritance, I found another mural; this mural connected to the group, which already had nine murals, making it a hundred and providing me with another clue.
This time I did not stop to search through the clutter; my clone is now free, and it could do that job while I searched for got more murals.
It took my clone fifty-five minutes to find the mural from the clutter, immediately obtaining the second part. Now, I need to find two more, and I will have a way out of this maze.
Before I knew it, it had been three days since I had entered the maze; I had wanted to get out of this maze in three days and make a breakthrough right after, but I am still searching for the way out.
I may have fallen behind my target, but I do not want to fall too far behind. Today will be the last day; I will be in the maze.
Hell, I want to finish before half a day is over.
An hour passed, and I had collected enough murals to form another group of hundred; seeing the hint there, my clone began to search for the clutter.
Hun!
Just eleven minutes after that, a surprising thing happened; I had formed a mural that completed another group of hundred, I still hadn't found the clutter mural for the third clue, and the fourth was ready; seeing that, a big bright smile couldn't help but appear on my face.
Though I did not stop, despite collecting all the hints.
I don't know; whether I would be able to find what I needed through the cluttered murals or if the four clues would be enough for me to find the way, I am sure they would be, but still, I continued moving and collecting the murals, so I would not lose any time if I were wrong.
Thirteen minutes passed when my clone found the third mural through the clutter and immediately started on the final fourth.
