Chapter 3989: Entering
People moved toward the gate, but they also moved toward the people with keys with the intention of snatching them.
Including me.
In front of me, there is a delicate green-brown key is floating. It's the size of my palm and beautiful.
Prime Volsnorth had given this to me.
It is one of one hundred and eight keys of the castle and offers a tremendous advantage.
Though I will have to protect it till I reach the gate. They are fair game till them.
People would kill of them. One had already died, and a few got seriously injured.
Only a second had passed.
As to why I had to take it now and not after reaching the gate. Well, I have to take it out now. It is one of the rules or keys wouldn't work.
It's why everyone with keys protecting had brought them out.
Hun!
I counted the keys that came out and was immediately surprised.
The number is over a hundred, even every three hundred years. The number of keys never reaches above sixty, but nearly all the keys are out.
Something is definitely happening.
"Give me the key!" a man shouted and came at with his ax blazing.
I didn't even look at him; I just kept flying.
A fraction of a second later, he appeared in front of me, while a saber appeared in my hand and swung it.
Our weapons clashed and his eyes widened as he flew back, vomiting blood.
It stopped some people, but more kept coming, attacking me from all sides.
"Good," I said and swung my sword.
CLANG CLANG CLANG!
My saber clashed against the attacks coming at me. Like a phantom, I defended against every attack coming toward me, while still moving toward the gate.
Each one that clashed against me, was sent flying, but more bastards came for the key without
care.
They are attacking people like me, not the clusters of organization.
As the information said, the organizations and allies had formed a cluster. Prime Volsnorth had asked me to join the cluster of organizations.
They have half of the keys, but the other half are in the hands of the people like.
We are the fair game, and everybody is attacking. Even people of Tor and our allies are attacking me.
I have been excited about and I have to say, I am not disappointed. People aren't holding back. They are coming at me with everything they have.
I am clashing against them, sending them back bloodied and broken.
A few people would have come for my key. If I had been merciless, like a few others. Many would have died.
I have no interest in killing. I want them to come at me. It is giving me a chance to use my abilities.
Soon, the powerful ones started to come, and I harnessed the power of the burst. Sending them flying as I did with the weaker ones.
Even one of those three that tried to loot me had come to snatch the key.
I send him back and used a little more power than others to do it.
He didn't recognize me. I had changed my face, three days before coming here; there was no way he would recognize me.
CLANNG CLANNG CLANNG!
I clashed with the people coming from every direction. They are fast and they want the key, but I am stopping them, and I am having fun.
I had even slowed myself down a little to have some more fun.
I shouldn't do this, there might be someone who is powerful and could take the key away
from me and that would be bad, but I couldn't stop myself.
I kept fighting till, I finally reached the door, when they finally stopped.
They didn't stop, they just changed the target. There are still many people who have yet to come to the door.
Some threw away the keys they have, seeing how crazily people are going for the keys.
The bodies are falling.
It is a hard-breaking scene to see. Many of these people are just a level away from the Prime. It is for that they are fighting with their life on the line.
The castle has things that give them a chance to light up the potential to reach the next stage.
Just a potential, not even a sure chance.
Prime isn't a level anyone could reach.
Even among the four thousand, there might not be a single person who would reach that level.
It is that hard.
Anyone who becomes Prime has got great opportunities and an equal amount of luck to reach where they are.
It is us that these people are fighting and for it; they have lost their lives.
I watched for a few seconds before turning back to the gate and stepping into it.
Immediately, everything turned dark, before brightening up. I found myself in a round black hall, with a hundred and one people.
All of them had the keys.
Only those with keys could come here directly. Those without it, need to take a long route, which makes them hard to catch up with us.
I pushed those thoughts away when I noticed something.
"It should be green, why it is black?" asked someone. The same question I am having in my
mind.
Every three years, it is white, and every three hundred years. It is green; there is no information about the hall being black.
Hun!
Many were confused, but some seemed to know what was happening with a smug smile on
their faces.
I looked at their faces carefully. The more I looked, the more sure, I would become that these people know something.
Hummm!
I was thinking about whether to ask them directly, when a gentle hum rang out and bronze energy came out from every side of the hall, including the tile beneath our feet.
They begin to concentrate on the twelve points, and slowly those twelve points begin to
expand.
Forming into twelve elaborate bronze doors.
