Chapter 3223 Prisoner
Gasp!
The ray of light entered the small meteor, and immediately a red flash appeared. It cleared a moment later and what I saw made my eyes go wide and mouth gasp.
I am seeing a vast space in front of me, and the center of the space is a being. The same golden being, under whose statue I am sitting.
It is gigantic, at least four times the size of the statue, and its whole body is translucent, except for the ball of blood red in the stomach.
It feels real.
I looked giant being and felt the fear deep within my heart. So deep, I had never felt it before, and along with came burning wrongness and hatred for it.
I wanted to summon my sword to kill the bastard, but I was so terrified that I couldn't even twitch.
It is sitting with its four legs with eyes closed and around it are hundreds of blood-red flames. Somewhere weak, as one could barely see them, while others were bright as the sun itself.
Through these flames, flecks, small and big, would come out and move toward the gigantic being and merge into that blood-red ball in its stomach.
Seeing the flames, I am horrified, because the light which traveled through the string is connected to one of the flames. It did not take me even a moment to realize what these flames signify.
These are the flames of sacrifice, and there are hundreds of sacrifices happening around the world.
It is consuming the power coming from it.
As I was watching in horror, the tiny light attached itself to one of the flakes coming from the fire and it moved toward the being.
I watched the being with bated breath, hoping it would discover it. It did not seem to, considering there is not a single frown appeared on its face.
It did not discover, even when it reached the blood-red ball. As it did, it instantly went inside.
Immediately, a frown appeared on its face, and a moment later. Those huge three eyes on its gigantic triangular face opened at once and its aura blasted out of its body.
Hun!
Suddenly, the being felt too far away. As if I had crossed thousands of miles despite remaining in the same place.
It is likely because of the power of the aura from which the hidden being is guarding me. Still, I sensed it and it had horrified me to my deepest.
As it had blasted its aura, the blood-red ball changed its color, from blood-red to purple. It is not something it desired, seeing the horror appearing in its eyes.
It had just changed color when hundreds of purple strings come out of it and weave something. It begins to resist, but it all seemed to be futile; that tiny dot of light had not only taken control over its energy but also its body.
It tried everything, before turning to flames. Seeing how they moved toward it; it had tried to extract the power from them, and it worked for a fraction of a second, before the fire went back to normal.
I watched it struggling and couldn't help but feel the sadistic joy in it. This time, there is no guild in my heart feeling it.
It deserves whatever is happening to it and worse.
Hun!
After a second and a half layer, the strings stopped. They have woven a structure, and to my surprise, it was something I was familiar with.
I go there for everything; it is Hermes Library.
It had now become its prison, and it was struggling, while the tower, which was made of strings, started filling itself. It is becoming real by the second, except for the color, which is different.
Two seconds later, the tower is completed.
Now, I could only see the faint form of it, and it is struggling, which is futile. I may not know much, but even I could understand that it had become too late for it.
I was watching it struggling, when suddenly hundreds of purple kindles came out of the tower, and they went to the blood-red fire. As went inside them, the fire begins to douse out.
As I watched them, I felt like I was hearing the mournful screams from every fire, before it doused.
All the blood-red fires, big or small, doused except for one. Which we have come from.
'Brace yourself, it is going to be dangerous,' said the hidden being, and a moment later. The tower begins to shrink, till it before so small that I could barely see, before shooting itself into the blood-red fire.
AHHHHHHH….
I screamed loudly in the inhuman pain; it was far greater than what I felt in the blood-red fire. It felt like my whole soul is getting burned in the most torturous fire.
….
'I hope he survives it,' I thought as I looked at heard the mournful screams of the human. What he is facing is not easy; even her disciples have would die, if they had felt something like this at his level.
Despite feeling what he is feeling; the human is holding on.
I couldn't help but feel sad and really hope he didn't die, because if he did. The being will leave, they will not stop for her.
There is another expression I am feeling, aside from sadness. Ecstasy, I have seen what my tower could do.
The being did not use any of their power, not even a fraction of it. Everything they use is from my tower, which had been badly damaged from that grave incident, which changed everything for me.
The tower controlled the being and had not killed it. They had the power to do it since they controlled its core, but for some reason, they captured it.
Now, the poor humans are bearing the price for whatever the being had in their mind.
He will have to bear it a few seconds more and then it will be all over. I hope he survives by then.
While the prisoner is coming, the runes are moving again in the tower and this is on a much grander scale.
It is happening in a part, that is most mysterious to her. Even after so much time, I was not able to uncover its secrets.
Seven seconds passed and the purple prison holding a prisoner entered inside the core and I heaved a sigh of relief.
The human bore it, which made me see him in a new light. Such willpower is not easily seen.
I looked at him, before turning to the prisoner, who had finally entered the tower. The runes of the secret chambers opened and took the prison inside before closing and disappearing.
"What is in that part of the tower; I had never been able to understand it?" she asked.
"You will understand it soon," replied the being with a laugh, and for a minute, there was nothing, before suddenly something started happening.
A couple of seconds later, she understood what was happening and it couldn't help, but made her eyes widen, while her whole body begin to shake.
"It will heal some damage your tower suffered and will also provide me some nutrition," said the being and chuckles, while she watched her damaged tower started healing for the first time after thousands of years.
