Rocky found himself starring into a dark hall the moment he left the valley full of peach blossom. The
doors were locked, barring anyone from entering inside, and the entire place was littered with bones of
both human and beast alike.
"What the hell is this place?" Rocky said to himself aloud with a frown. He surveyed everything in his
surrounding before finding a plaque hanging above his head. It read, "The Avici Palace".
"This place seems awful judging from its name alone!"
He once again gasped. While he was having second thoughts about entering the palace, the doors
suddenly crept open, letting out a chilling gust of wind that sent shivers down Rocky's spine.
He immediately sensed the familiar aura of the Shura Race emanating from the palace.
After hesitating for a while, he finally willed himself to go inside. Wary of any dangers that might await
him, he summoned his spiritual power to protect himself.
An insidious and powerful aura suddenly enveloped him as soon as he stepped inside. It came
barreling into his consciousness, urging him to go crazy and run wild. Thankfully, his willpower was as
strong as steel.
Meanwhile, Colton, who was searching for Rocky, was abruptly stopped by a figure from entering the
gates of the Spiritual Divine Land.
He was taken aback by its sudden appearance, but upon closer look, he realized that the figure was
the once great chief of the Di Clan, his grandfather, Jaiden who mysteriously disappeared for decades.
It took him a few moments to process what was happening. His grandfather looked like he hadn't aged
a bit. It was as if he left just yesterday, but in truth he should be already a hundred and twenty years old
by now.
"Grandfather?" he asked. His eyes teemed with excitement when he saw his grandfather, whom he
thought disappeared when he was still a child.
"Colton, right?" Jaiden asked with a warm and familiar smile.
"Yes, it's me!" Colton answered with tears creeping up his eyes.
"You've already grown up. It seems that I have been in the Holy Heaven Palace for too long!" Jaiden
sighed with both happiness and regret.
"Grandfather, have you been staying here for all these years?" Colton asked.
"That's right. Shortly after I resigned as the chief, I wanted to know more about the secrets of our clan.
But I was too reckless and found myself trapped inside a strange world. While wandering inside the
place, I discovered a mysterious reality—an existence so powerful that it is simply beyond our
imagination. I never thought that I would be able to get out. But suddenly, something strange happened
inside that world and I was transported here," Jaiden explained his situation.
"Grandfather, I'm glad to see that you're alive and well, but I have to search for my friend first. Why
don't you go back to the Di Clan? We can talk about it in detail after I come back," Colton kindly replied.
To be frank, he was more concerned about Rocky's safety at the moment.
"You don't have to worry about your friend. In fact, he was the one that opened the entrance to that
world which allowed me to escape. He's my savior. Only those who are truly special can open its
entrance. Now, he has an inseparable relationship with the Holy Heaven Palace," Jaiden said calmly.
"You mean..." Colton frowned.
"It would be futile to search for him. Only he has the power to reach the place where he currently is
right now. You'll just wander around aimlessly with little to no hope of ever reaching him. You're just
going to put yourself in danger. Why don't you just stay here and wait? If he comes back, he'll surely
appear here since this is the connection point between the various areas of the Holy Heaven Palace."
Jaiden tried to soothe his grandson.
Colton bit his bottom lip in frustration, but he knew his grandfather was right. Rocky's disappearance
was no simple matter. Plus, since Jaiden accidentally got out, Rocky might not still be inside the
Spiritual Divine Land.
"Well, then let's wait here!" Knowing that he didn't have much of a choice, he finally agreed to wait it
out.
"Good. We can have a good chat during this time," Jaiden said happily.
Feeling defeated, Colton instead focused on telling his grandfather what happened to the Di Clan while
he was away.
Jaiden could only let out a sigh and say, "I didn't expect that so many things would happen while I was
away..."
While the two got back together, Rocky began to encounter a number of strange things inside the Avici
Palace. The originally empty hall was now filled with figures of those he knew and loved.
Of course, he knew that these figures were not real, but the fact that this strange place could actually
reflect these figures meant that the Avici Palace could explore his memories.
"Don't play with me! Show me what you are capable of!" Feeling he was being watched from afar,
Rocky shouted into thin air, hoping to summon whoever was stalking him.
"Ha ha, how interesting. You are not deceived by my illusion!" A burst of hysterical laughter suddenly
echoed and filled the halls of the palace.
"May I know who you are, sir?" Rocky asked as he cupped his hands.
"I'm Ricardo, the master of this Avici Palace," the voice replied.
Rocky immediately felt something was wrong. 'Am I still in the Holy-Evil World? Surely the name of
Avici Palace does sound like something from there, ' he thought to himself.
"Oh, sir, it's my pleasure to meet you. I am Odin, the Godly Genius of the Ghost Fief." Not showing his
doubt, Rocky greeted the voice with respect.
"Oh, a Godly Genius? No wonder you were able to enter the Holy-Evil World. But why did you come to
my palace? Isn't Mikayla the one in charge of the affairs of the Godly Geniuses?" Ricardo's tone
immediately changed when he heard this.
"I'm really sorry for intruding. I came here by accident after I parted ways with her." Sensing the change
of his tone, Rocky knew he was treading on thin ice.
"Really?"
"Yes. I'll leave now. I won't disturb you, sir." Rocky was itching to make a run for it since he knew it
wasn't safe to stay any longer.
"Wait..." Ricardo suddenly shouted, which stopped him in his tracks.
"What else can I do for you, sir?" Rocky hesitated to stop before turning around.
"Those who enter my palace must finish a hundred challenges successfully before they can leave!"
Ricardo suddenly demanded.
Rocky wanted to both laugh and cry at his situation. He entered the wrong palace by chance, and he
knew he couldn't leave by force. Otherwise, the consequences would be unimaginable.
Keeping his composure, he smartly asked back, "I wonder if these one hundred challenges can be
regarded as a trial."
