"As far as I know, humans and spiritual race beings also exist in that alien land. However, the
dominating race in that land is even stronger than the Star Divine Race! I heard that they are called the
Shura Race, which, with its unique aptitude, is stronger by a mile than the Star Divine Race," the Holy
Lord slowly said.
"Wow! Is it really that powerful? So, does that mean that the Shura Race will soon occupy the Wild
Spirit Land?" Rocky inquired.
"Long ago in the ancient times, the Shura Race used their extraordinary strength to ransack the Divine
Spiritual Sources of other worlds and loot other creatures. Without a doubt, they are very smart. Apart
from making themselves stronger, they also make the other creatures stronger and then destroy them.
It was said that they do this in order to maintain their land's balance. They do this repeatedly, whenever
they need to. That is quite a clever tactic, I have to admit," the Holy Lord said.
"Now isn't that just so vile?" Rocky said in an angry tone.
"We can't do anything about that. It's the law of the jungle—the survival of the fittest. The Shura Race
lives in one of the highest-level worlds. Like the Star Divine Race, the Shura Race was also destined to
vanish. Luckily, they found a way on how to avoid their fate in time. On the contrary, the Star Divine
Race overestimated themselves at that time and blindly pursued power. They did not take the
consequences into consideration. As a result, they ended up destroying themselves in the process.
That's why as an outsider, I personally think that the Shura Race is a whole lot smarter than the Star
Divine Race," the Holy Lord judged.
"So, if we destroy the special gate, the Shura Race can't invade the Wild Spirit Land. Is that right?"
Rocky asked at once.
"I'm afraid it's not possible. You see, this gate is built based on the power of the Divine Spiritual Source
in their land. Even the spiritual race in the Wild Spirit Land can't destroy this gate," the Holy Lord
replied while shaking his head.
"But, what about me?" Rocky asked out of the blue, raising his eyebrows.
"Well, do you think I will let you do that?" the Holy Lord replied, glancing at Rocky.
"This means, I can do it with my strength!" Rocky exclaimed as he began to realize.
"Well, I guess you can do it if you completely inherit my power. But if you interfere this time, in any
manner, I will have to take back the power you got from me," the Holy Lord immediately warned. "You'd
better give up. If you don't want to become a Holy Lord so soon, then fine. You can stay in the Divine
Land. But you are not allowed to interfere in the affairs of the Wild Spirit Land. Understood?"
After those words, the Holy Lord's image began to disappear gradually.
"Even if I can't meddle with this matter, at least I can tell this news to Marcia and others, just in case
they know nothing about it," Rocky murmured to himself. After giving it a thought or two, he
immediately disappeared from where he stood.
Meanwhile, Marcia went to the mysterious area to continue with the investigation. However, three days
had already passed, and she had not found a single clue. On the other hand, Sabina, who led the
investigation team on standby, had a bad and odd feeling all of a sudden. She was well aware that if
she continued to stay there and did nothing, they might encounter unprecedented danger. Without any
other choice, she had to make up her mind and lead the entire team to retreat. But the minute they did,
two figures flew across in the sky. Both of them emitted dark light, giving out strange, evil auras.
"Brother, I've already told you. That woman didn't come alone. It turned out she has many helper hiding
here," one of them said maliciously.
"Ha ha, good eye, brother. It looks like this place is crawling with spirit manipulators. If we bring them
back, then our trip will surely be worth it!" another one said eagerly.
At that moment, the two dark shadows spoke. Soon after, they flew down and stood in front of Sabina's
team.
"Who are you?" Riding on her spiritual beast, Sabina could not help but interrogate. Of course, she
immediately became vigilant and stared at the two dark figures intently. Although they were
humanesque figures, they still appeared quite strange. They had dark skin and their ears were very
long. In fact, their hair was so bizarre due to having at least three colors. One of them had a face
similar to a pig's while the other had an extra eye on his forehead. They were the epitome of oddity that
even the spiritual race couldn't have such a horrible appearance.
"Brother, have you noticed that human women in this world are far prettier than the ones we have in
our world? I mean, look at them. They are all beautiful, especially the one we met yesterday. I think
beauty is not the only thing that she has. In fact, I believe that she is also very strong. However, I don't
think she's strong enough. We still defeated her in the end. But look at this one, though. She's not as
beautiful as the one we met yesterday, but I guess she'll do. Come on and help me bring her back so
we can enjoy her," the pig-faced man said with a lewd smile.
"What? Are you talking about Marcia? Have you seen her? Where is she now?" Sabina asked sternly.
Upon hearing what the two nasty men were talking about, she was most certain that it was Marcia that
they were talking about.
"We have brought her back to our world. But don't worry, you will see her soon enough..." the pig-faced
man replied coldly.
"Excuse me? Your world? Who are you?" Sabina questioned out of confusion.
"Oh, cut the crap. Let's just do it," the three-eyed man said.
Not long after, the two strange men transformed into two dark shadows and rushed towards Sabina's
team instantly. At that moment, these shadows emitted a frightening pressure that was at least
equivalent to that of a warrior at the Immortal Stage. With a wave of their hands, black lights shot out
and fell into the crowd in the blink of an eye. The black lights exploded, immediately engulfing the spirit
manipulators. Afterwards, they vanished without a trace, as if they had turned into air.
In a snap of a finger, almost all the members of the investigation team with the strength above the
Supernal Stage were annihilated. Only Sabina and several other relatively powerful spirit manipulators
at the Supernal Stage were left. However, they did not know how to save themselves from the terrible
black lights that surrounded them.
"Commander in Chief Ji, we'll cover for you to break out of the siege," the remaining spirit warriors
shouted in unison. All of them were commanders of the Crimson Dragon Group. Upon realizing that
they were already trapped here, they decided to help Sabina out as soon as possible.
"No. You retreat first. I'll stop them!" Sabina said confidently. Having reached the Divine Stage, she
believed that she had the ability to block the two strangers.
"No, don't underestimate them. You are the only one strong enough to escape, so hurry up!" Not long
after, these spirit manipulators rushed toward the strange men and entangled them with all their might,
distracting them so that Sabina could run away.
Seeing that her comrades were trying to hold the two men off, Sabina knew that if she did not leave
now, the news that Marcia had been captured wouldn't be delivered back to the Holy Dragon Empire.
Moreover, the chance of saving Marcia would be even slimmer. Without apprehension, she gritted her
teeth and quickly flew into the air, rushing towards the exit of the mysterious area.
On the other hand, it didn't take long for the two strange men to defeat the group of spirit manipulators
that were suppressing them.
"Brother, take these people back. I'll go after that woman," the pig-faced man said greedily.
"Forget it. We can't stay in this world for too long. Otherwise, we will easily spiral into madness. Our
time is almost up. And besides, we have already gained a lot. Come on and let's report this to our
leader. If you really want her that much, then you can find her when you come here next time," the
three-eyed man urged immediately.
Although the pig-faced man wanted to chase after Sabina very much, he did not dare disobey the
three-eyed man in any way. Immediately, he nodded his head in agreement, without any fuss.
Afterwards, they turned into two black shadows again and flew towards the gate that led them back to
their world.
