After barely escaping from the mysterious area, Sabina wasted no time and rushed back to the capital
city of the Holy Dragon Empire as soon as possible and reported the situation to Isis, who was currently
the mother of the emperor.
Isis was greatly shocked when she heard that Marcia was captured by the mysterious masters of
unknown origin and seemed to be taken to a strange and different world. Thus, she immediately
gathered the commanders in chief of the four major army groups, as well as the chiefs of several large
clans within the Holy Dragon Empire to discuss the urgent matter.
A day later, Bryant and the other powerful personalities in the Holy Dragon Empire heeded Isis's
summon. They had also heard of the situation in advance, so they arrived at the assembly hall with
serious expressions on their faces. It was known that Marcia had inherited her father's Dragon Sarira,
meaning that her current strength should be comparable to that of a high-level spiritual master, and she
was even more powerful than the warriors at the Immortal Stage. Now that Marcia was captured by
these mysterious masters, they could only imagine how powerful their enemies were.
"Sabina, are you certain that the people you've encountered are not from the spiritual race?" Bryant
asked straightforwardly.
"They actually have some similarities with the spiritual race in terms of their appearance, but their
auras are very different. These mysterious masters have very strange auras surrounding them and
they are way stronger than the members of the spiritual race. Moreover, judging from their language, it
would seem that they are not from the Wild Spirit Land," Sabina replied in a gloomy tone.
"What? They're not a race from the Wild Spirit Land? Then, where on earth did they come from?"
Hearing what Sabina reported, Bryant and the others were extremely baffled.
"I think they have something to do with that building in the mysterious area. But that's just my
speculation. I have no definitive proof," Sabina responded hesitantly.
"Is it a conspiracy then?" Everyone present couldn't help but think that it might be the only reason
behind this.
"No. It's not a conspiracy. It is much more than that." Suddenly, an ethereal-like voice resounded out of
nowhere. Then, a ray of golden light flew in from outside the hall and transformed into a shadow that
floated in midair.
"Is it... Basil?" Everyone inside the hall was stunned at the sudden appearance of the shadow. It was
as if a holy being descended in their midst and graced them with his presence.
As the shadow had fully shown itself, it turned out to be Rocky.
Upon seeing his face again, Isis and the other women were so thrilled that they couldn't restrain their
excitement.
"Prince Crimson, we're so glad that you came just in time. We are facing such a dilemma because
Marcia has gone missing. This is a pressing matter," Bryant uttered, expressing a bit of relief.
"Yes. I also know that, but I didn't expect that I will be a bit too late. Listen carefully! The recent
disappearances of the people on the Wild Spirit Land were being caused by a race from the alien land.
Their purpose is to plunder all the resources of the Wild Spirit Land and exploit both the human race
and the spiritual race. So, it is imperative to stop them by destroying the door that connects the two
worlds," Rocky said in a serious tone.
Hearing that they were actually facing a grave situation yet again, Bryant and the others were utterly
shocked.
"Prince Crimson, how can we destroy this door to the alien land? Right now, I don't think we have the
manpower and strength to accomplish that," Bryant remarked as he analyzed the situation.
"That is true. This time, you won't be able to do it alone. We have to gather all the powerful spirit
manipulators and the members of the spiritual race to assemble the most powerful force with your
combined strength. If we don't destroy the door immediately, the destruction of the Wild Spirit Land will
be inevitable," Rocky warned sternly.
"But according to what Sabina reported, our opponents are on a different level. Even Marcia, who was
supposed to be a lot more powerful than any of us, wasn't able to resist them. Now that she was
captured, I'm afraid that even with the help of the spiritual race clans, we might not be able to get past
them, let alone destroy that door," Bryant commented, gauging how they would fare in this incoming
battle.
"I know that too. But again, you have no other choice. The race that invaded the Wild Spirit Land this
time is far more powerful than the spiritual race, but if you're not going to risk everything and give it
your all, there will be no hope left at all," Rocky declared, indicating that the fight was all or nothing.
"Basil, can't you help us with this predicament?" Isis took a chance and asked Rocky. After all, he
saved the Holy Dagon Empire and the entire Wild Spirit Land not long ago.
"As much as I want to, I really can't help you this time," Rocky replied with a bitter smile and shook his
head.
"It's all right, Prince Crimson. You have already done your best several times before. We can't just rely
on you all the time. But can you give us a more specific detail on how we can destroy the door that
connects the two worlds?" Bryant asked expectantly.
"I actually don't have the exact answer. All I know is that you have to gather as much strength as you
can to destroy it," Rocky replied helplessly.
"Well, it seems that we have to really ask all the spiritual race clans to help us again," one of them said
as they nodded in agreement.
"That's right. However, the last time we fought the calamity beasts, the spiritual race clans have also
suffered heavy casualties. I'm not sure if they will be willing to lend us their help this time around. They
must still be trying to recuperate," Isis said with concern.
"Don't worry about that. Right now, you aren't the only ones who are hearing my voice. The emperors
of the Timber Deity Empire and the Magic Phoenix Empire, as well as the leaders of the various
spiritual race clans, can also hear what I'm saying. I'm speaking to all of you and encouraging you to
assemble all the members that you can send into the mysterious area as soon as possible in order to
destroy that door." Then, as soon as Rocky finished his words, his shadow disappeared in the blink of
an eye, leaving not a single trace.
When everyone in the hall saw the sudden disappearance of Rocky, they all looked at each other, as if
trying to confirm whether everything that happened was really true.
"Basil..." At the same time, Isis' entire body felt like it lost its strength as she leaned back against the
throne.
"Your Majesty, what shall we do?" Bryant and the other people looked at Isis intently, waiting for her
decision.
"Not that we know that Basil has also informed the other two emperors and the leaders of the spiritual
race clans about this, we should do what we can on our end. With that, we are to gather all of the spirit
manipulators in our empire and form an army that is to be led by Chief Bryant. We also have to meet
with the elites of the two empires and the spiritual race clans to plan our actions regarding the door in
the mysterious area," Isis, who assisted the young emperor, made a prompt decision.
A few days later, the Holy Dragon Empire managed to gather more than two thousand spirit
manipulators from all over the empire. With the addition of all the soldiers of the four major army
groups, they were able to establish a spirit manipulator army with more than three thousand members
under the direct command of Bryant. Then, the army went to meet the armies from the two empires and
the spiritual race clans.
In the armies of the other two empires and the spiritual race clans, there were also many top-notch
human warriors and spiritual masters. The army of the Timber Deity Empire was personally led by their
current emperor, Alyssa. As for the spiritual race clans, Moira, the matriarch of the Dragon Master Clan,
led hundreds of soldiers from her clan. The other spiritual race clans also sent their most elite teams
even though their number wasn't that many. In fact, even the Butterfly Divine Clan that had the fewest
members sent their representatives that were led by Cherry.
After gathering the respective members of their armies, they were finally able to form the strongest
army that was comprised of both the spiritual race beings and humans. Soon after, they headed into
the mysterious area.
Upon arriving at the mysterious area, they spent another two days before they finally spotted the door.
They were dumbfounded at what the magical door looked like, as well as the scene that surrounded it.
At the moment, the sky above the door was thoroughly covered with thick dark clouds. Just by looking
at it, people could feel rather suffocated by the ominous aura that it emitted. Within a radius of a
thousand meters, the area looked like a deserted land, lifeless and deathly silent. There were also a lot
of corpses that were scattered around and exuded demonic auras and a stench of death. The corpses
didn't look like they were from beasts that existed in the Wild Spirit Land. Wherever they looked, it was
as if someone from the abyss was staring back at them.
