The Medallion Chapter 1767 The Comprehension

Soon, the golden runes that encircled them began to fly and make their way towards the competitors'
field. They intertwined with each other like golden rivers floating and shuffling among the Spiritual
Emperors.

As they remained in place, they began to feel strange. Some heard a strange buzz in their ears, a few
of them experienced blurred images flashing before their eyes, and the rest felt the spiritual power
within them disappear in an instant.

These runes were impacting each Spiritual Emperor on the field differently.

A few of the Spiritual Emperors were able to detect and hear certain mantras a few moments later.
However, most of them were incomplete. None of them dared to try and chant them out loud for fear of
worsening their situation.

Most of the Spiritual Emperors chose to wait it out and see what would happen next.

But Rocky was different. He quickly completed the intermittent mantra in his mind and began to
manipulate the spiritual power within him using it.

The spiritual power in his body began to rise and speed up.

Suddenly, vivid images of the previous world he lived in flashed through Rocky's mind. He saw his past
with Isis, Marcia, and Alyssa. Emotions that he had buried deep within suddenly burst out like an
overflowing dam.

Except for Rocky, the ten high-level Spiritual Emperors were also trying to figure out and complete the
mantras they had heard to control their spiritual powers. So did some middle-level Spiritual Emperors
and some extraordinary low-level Spiritual Emperors like Michelle, Moore, and Seth.



As soon as most of them became more familiar with using the mantras, they began to show different
states.

This meant they began to fully comprehend what they heard.

By then, Colton had slowly descended from the top of the first floor and weaved his way between the
Spiritual Emperors to observe their states. During the process of comprehension, it was easy to spiral
into madness. He needed to stop it once he detected its early signs in any of the competitors.
Otherwise, there would be unimaginable consequences.

Soon, more and more Spiritual Emperors from both the middle-level and the low-level began to take
their shot at the comprehension task.

By then, these Spiritual Emperors were surrounded by a faint glow. This included Rocky, who began to
comprehend the mantras at the very beginning of the test.

Everyone seemed to finally be making progress.

'What progress you've all accomplished in such a short time!' Colton thought to himself as he nodded in
satisfaction.

In the Heavenly Library, the process of comprehension was divided into ten grades. Generally, one
could be considered as having roughly comprehended a unique skill once he or she comprehended the
first five grades. However, this was only the beginning. Once a contender completed the seventh
grade, he or she would be considered to have accomplished a phenomenal feat. This assured the
contender that full comprehension was obtained once all ten grades were completed.

But according to the Di Clan's past records, only seven Spiritual Emperors were able to comprehend all
ten grades in the Heavenly Library since the dawn of ancient times. And only twenty Spiritual Emperors
managed to reach and comprehend the seventh grade of the test.



Six hours later, the high-level Spiritual Emperors, some of the middle-level Spiritual Emperors, and the
talented low-level Spiritual Emperors including Michelle were all able to reach the third grade of the test
one after another.

To no one's surprise, Rocky was still standing as well.

Eight hours later, the bodies of several high-level Spiritual Emperors suddenly lit up like bright stars
against the evening sky and were filled with joy.

"Chief Colton, I have comprehended a unique skill. The Heavenly Silkworm Skill!"

"I have comprehended one, too. The Six-meridians Finger!"

"Amazing! A Saber Slash!"

The high-level Spiritual Emperors couldn't help but shout and rejoice as they reported to the chief.

The onlookers stationed at the second floor soon fell into a commotion. Only fourteen hours later, each
of these high-level Spiritual Emperors had successfully comprehended a new skill. It went faster than
they had expected.

"I appreciate all your effort. You've made it to the fifth grade of this test. Here, you have a choice to
either leave or stay and continue with the comprehension task," Colton explained with a nod of his
head.

Naturally, none of them chose the former option. They all chose to stay upon discovering that their
cultivation would go by extremely fast and efficient in the Heavenly Library.

Right after the high-level Spiritual Emperors continued with the task, another three middle-level
Spiritual Emperors managed to make it to the fifth grade too.



Two hours later, several of the low-level Spiritual Emperors made it to that grade as well, including
Michelle.

The rest of the competitors were still trying to comprehend the fourth grade of the test.

The next stages of comprehension after the fifth grade would be no easy feat.

It was already less than eight hours before the deadline. The high-level Spiritual Emperors that made it
to the fifth grade earlier had already passed the sixth grade of the test and were now working hard on
finishing the seventh grade. Tried as they might, none of them had successfully gone through yet.

It was even worse for the middle-level and low-level Spiritual Emperors.

Soon, most of the Spiritual Emperors who had already comprehended the fifth grade of the test chose
to stop and retreated to the side of the field. Among those who gave up were Moore, Holden, Eunice
and Barron, who were all talented low-level Spiritual Emperors.

Two hours later, more than half of the Spiritual Emperors who chose to continue earlier eventually gave
up. The rest had either not yet reached the fifth grade of the test or were still trying to break through the
seventh grade.

Among those who remained were three high-level Spiritual Emperors. This included Israel, who had
disguised himself to protect his identity, eight middle-level Spiritual Emperors including Drew and
Quentin, and even Lilith and Isabel.

However, those that drew the most attention were the low-level Spiritual Emperors such as Michelle,
Seth, Carla, Valeria, and Gloria.

The test so far had proven how powerful they really were for reaching this far into the competition
despite their current strength.



Even so, Michelle and the others soon found themselves stuck in a bottleneck in the sixth grade of the
test.

Less than two hours remained.

Just as the Spiritual Emperors who were trying to make it past the seventh grade of the test seemed to
have reached their limits, a strange yet dazzling spiritual light suddenly flashed.

"Someone has managed to comprehend the seventh grade!" Colton exclaimed as he turned to look in
the direction of the flash quickly.

All the Spiritual Emperors and the spectators on the second floor were just as shocked and looked in
that direction as well.

It was none other than Rocky who had achieved comprehending the seventh grade.

No one expected him to be able to break through to the next grade first!

Just as everyone was recovering from the initial shock, several more dazzling spiritual light flashed all
over the field. They came from Israel, Drew, Lilith, Michelle, and Seth.

At this moment, the onlookers on the second floor clamored. They never would've guessed that
numerous Spiritual Emperors would be able to successfully break through.

Valeria, Gloria, Carla, and Quentin all made it shortly after.

Meanwhile, the corners of Rocky's mouth raised into a smile. He didn't expect that Colton's third test
would inconspicuously force Israel and the other Godly Geniuses to expose themselves.

These Godly Geniuses from the Shura Race were undoubtedly superior to the humans and spiritual
race when it came to talent. Therefore, the Godly Geniuses would surely reveal themselves if they



didn't fly under the radar.
