Chapter 1711: Removing the Poison 4
The state preceptor looked at Feng Tianlan’s tears. They were like pearls falling from a thread, one by one, dripping onto the ruins, and disappearing quickly. If not for her tears already flowing down her face, no one would have been able to tell that she had cried.
Hearing the state preceptor’s words, Feng Tianlan’s body stiffened. She raised her head and looked at the state preceptor, “So what you’re saying is that he has lifted the seal?”
“Yes.”
“Were you the one who helped him lift the seal?” Feng Tianlan’s phoenix-like eyes were filled with tears.
The state preceptor nodded. “Yes.”
As soon as he said that, he was met with a powerful spiritual force. He instinctively retreated quickly and avoided the fatal spiritual force. When he raised his eyes, he saw Feng Tianlan holding the Ice Soul Sword and charging at him with murderous intent.
“Calm down, he…”
Before he could finish speaking, the Ice Soul Sword slashed down towards his face with powerful spiritual force. He hurriedly dodged and with a bang, a deep crack appeared on the ground. If the Ice Soul Sword had landed on his body… he probably would have been smashed into pieces.
“Don’t you know that he doesn’t have enough spiritual force? Once the seal is lifted, his body will explode and he will die.”
Facing Feng Tianlan’s furious question, the state preceptor continued to dodge. “I know, but…”
“You knew, but you still wanted to help him lift the seal? You have killed my husband. I will kill you.” Feng Tianlan’s eyes were bloodshot as she held the Ice Soul Sword in her hand. She was in a totally berserk state.
She knew that a lot of spiritual force was needed to lift the seal. Although Mobai technically was able to achieve an invincible spirirual force that would allow him to lift the seal, his power would not be able to be blocked again, which would overwhelm his body and he would explode and die.
She wished that Mobai was weaker. She wished that Mobai had not met the state preceptor and gotten his help to lift the seal. This was the outcome she was afraid of.
But, the state preceptor…
The damned state preceptor actually helped Mobai lift the seal. Now, the whole area within ten miles was flattened, and she could not see a single trace of Mobai. Then…
The more she thought about it, the redder Feng Tianlan’s eyes became, and the more vicious her attacks were. Every move was aimed to kill the state preceptor. She wanted to kill him like he killed Mobai.
He was now razed to the ground. Now that Feng Tianlan had made her move, countless cracks had opened up. The state preceptor did not fight back. Firstly, he was injured while helping Mobai to lift the seal, so he was unable to fight back. Secondly, if he retaliated and attacked Feng Tianlan now, Si Mobai would definitely kill him when he found out.
Therefore, he would rather be attacked by Feng Tianlan, then killed by Si Mobai.
Su Jingfeng and Bi Ling rushed over. Seeing Feng Tianlan’s madness, they first frowned, then stood still. They just watched from the side and speculated the reason for her madness at the same time.
“Wu Ya.” Bi Ling looked at the messy ruins, and her heart was instantly in suspense. This explosion was caused by Wu Ya. Where was he?
Did he die with the explosion?
This thought immediately made her panic and fear. She didn’t want to lose him.
“Wu Ya!” Bi Ling ran to the ruins. She wanted to use her spiritual force to open up the ruins, but she was afraid that her spiritual force would potentially hurt Mobai if he was buried under the ground. Instead, she squatted down and used her hands to pull away the rubble.
She refused to accept that he was dead. He had not even married her yet. If he had died, then all the efforts that she had put in over the past few hundred years would have been in vain.
She loved him so much that he had agreed to marry her. He could not be dead.
“Wu Ya, you can’t be dead. Quickly answer me.” Bi Ling pulled the rubble until her fingers were bleeding, but she didn’t care. Her tears blurred her vision, but she was still trying hard.
Bi Ling cried and raised her head to shout, “Wu Ya!”
