Chapter 231: Even More Shameless Things
“Wargod, please have some self-respect.” Feng Tianlan’s expression was cold, and her voice was equally icy. She was now defensive, filled with tremendous resistance, and a wish to distance herself.
Si Mobai started panicking when he saw Feng Tianlan looking at him as an enemy. She had never been this defensive before, not even when going up against Tu Xiang and the rest of the gang. She only acted like this with him—defensive and aggressive at the same time.
“Please, get out.” Feng Tianlan’s gaze hardened as her voice became even colder.
“Have some self-respect?” Si Mobai suppressed the panic in his heart and released a large amount of Spiritual force. He looked at Feng Tianlan, who was now unable to speak or move and rushed toward her, putting his face right in front of hers. “In front of you, I’ll never have any respect for myself.”
If he didn’t shamelessly cling to her, she would only drift further and further away from him. He needed to continue being overbearing like this, treating her well, adoring her, and caring for her. Then, one day, she would finally stop rejecting him.
Feng Tianlan opened her eyes wide to tell him that, if he had guts, he wouldn’t use his stronger Spiritual force to bully her like this. If he had guts, he would let her go and battle it out because she believed that she would be able to defeat him in a fight someday.
Si Mobai gently kissed her on the lips, then pulled her into his arms and laid down again. “Go to bed. Otherwise, I might do even more shameless things.”
Her nostrils were filled once again with his manly minty smell. Even though Feng Tianlan could feel that he had reduced the amount of force, she still couldn’t speak or move and had no choice but to remain in his embrace.
This man was too overbearing and aggressive. From the very start, he had never even given her the chance to reject him!
…
The next morning, Feng Tianlan awoke and glanced to the side out of habit. She looked at the pillow, which had obviously been slept on, and drifted into a daze. She had thought that she wouldn’t have been able to sleep after what had happened last night, but, surprisingly, she had fallen asleep exceptionally quickly. She had even slept very well and not woken up until morning. She didn’t even know when he’d left.
Feng Tianlan bit her lip in frustration. She told herself to keep a greater distance from Si Mobai and decrease the frequency of her interactions with him. Otherwise…
Feng Tianlan shook her head to shake off all of the emotions that she didn’t want to feel. She got out of bed and washed up, then opened the door to find Luo Yunzhu and Chuling sitting in the courtyard and speaking softly.
“Tianlan!” Luo Yunzhu ran over to her. “Did we wake you up?”
“No.” Feng Tianlan shook her head gently and looked at the two of them. “What were you two chatting about? You seemed very excited.”
“I have two big pieces of news for you. Which would you like to hear first?” Luo Yunzhu tried to whet her appetite.
Chuling ladled out some porridge and said plainly, “Someone kidnapped Third Prince in the middle of the road yesterday and bashed him up. His face is so swollen that he looks like a pig now, and he has multiple fractures all over his body. They found him this morning, and he’s become the joke of the city.”
“Chuling, you shouldn’t just spell everything out like that! I’m trying to create suspense here, and then you just blurt out everything.” Luo Yunzhu glared at her. She was supposed to make Tianlan try and guess first!
Chuling looked pitifully at Luo Yunzhu. She was only a slave, so she wouldn’t dare act sassy around her Miss.
“What’s the other news?” Feng Tianlan sat down and drank a mouthful of porridge, motioning to Luo Yunzhu to join her for breakfast.
“Aren’t you concerned about who beat up Third Prince?” Luo Yunzhu took a mouthful of porridge then gave a big thumbs up to Chuling. It was yummy!
“No.” She didn’t care what happened to Si Rong. To her, all evil people got their just deserts, and she didn’t want anything to do with him.
Luo Yunzhu nodded as she continued drinking the porridge. “The other news is about your recommendation letter. Chuling and I have decided that, even we don’t get into the top ten, we’re going to the Xuantian Continent with you.”
