Chapter 291: Tu Xiuyu Exposes Tu Xiang
Luo Yunzhu glared at Zhang Tiancheng in silence. “What did you call me?”
Zhang Tiancheng tried again, “Second Sister.”
“I’m younger than you.”
“Second darling?”
“Do you have a death wish? Let me help you!”
Feng Tianlan looked at the two, who were still in the mood to joke around, then back at Tu Xiuyu. Xu Jiayi was trying her best to persuade her to come down, while Tu Xiupei was acting alongside her mother. Their acting was so realistic.
“Yu’er, come down quickly. Let’s talk at home. Don’t do anything rash.” Xu Jiayi’s throat was going dry from repeating this, and she was losing patience. She wanted to shout at her and say that if she wanted to die, then she should die quickly and not go around spouting nonsense.
Tu Xiupei’s eyes were also teary, and she looked like she was in great pain. “Yu’er, come down, and I’ll talk to Third Prince. I’ll tell him to be nice to you, and he will send you back. I won’t fight with you for him anymore. Just come down and don’t scare us anymore.”
“All of you, shut up! I don’t need you to put on pretenses.” Tu Xiuyu knew that Si Rong would undoubtedly send her back to the brothel and not back home. She yelled back, “I’ve said it before: if I don’t get to live well, none of you will!”
Tu Xiupei was despicable for continuing to boast that Big Brother Rong listened to everything she said!
“Yu’er, come down.” Si Rong had made it up the watchtower and ran toward Tu Xiuyu. He intended to rush over so that it looked like he was going to save her, then pretend that his hand had slipped while pushing her down, settling this once and for all.
Tu Xiuyu took a step back and roared at Si Rong with an envelope in her hand. “Don’t you dare come near. Otherwise, I’ll throw down this envelope.”
Si Rong’s face changed instantly when he saw the envelope. He stopped in his tracks and tried his best to cover the anxiety in his voice as he called out, “Yu’er.”
Those were letters that he had exchanged with one of the Beiqi Nation’s princes. If revealed, he would be charged for treason. Even a prince like him couldn’t escape the death penalty. But how did these letters land in Tu Xiuyu’s hands?
“Stand there and don’t move. After I’ve finished with the people downstairs, I’ll deal with you,” Tu Xiuyu threatened Si Rong as she gripped the envelope tightly. This time, she had made her decision – if she was going to die, she was taking all of them down with her!
Si Rong was about to make a move but decided against it. He tried to coax her more gently, “Alright, I won’t move. Don’t do anything rash, alright? Let’s talk, and I’ll agree to everything.”
Tu Xiupei frowned when she realized that Tu Xiuyu had something she could use to threaten Si Rong. Then again, it didn’t matter what happened to Si Rong. After all, Tu Xiuyu didn’t have anything to threaten her with and couldn’t get her into trouble, so Tu Xiupei just decided to continue watching the show unfold.
“Tu Xiang, Xu Jiayi, neither of you are fit to be parents.” Tu Xiuyu pointed at them. “You are both animals…”
“Nonsense! Come down now!” Tu Xiang shouted in a commanding voice. He couldn’t believe what sort of daughters he had raised. One after the other was going against him, and the last one, Tu Xiupei, wasn’t even his.
Tu Xiuyu laughed like a lunatic. “I’m going to expose all your evil deeds today! To gain control over the Feng Clan, Tu Xiang poisoned Feng Qingcheng.”
Murmurs immediately rippled through the crowd. Feng Qingcheng was Feng Tianlan’s biological mother and Tu Xiang’s late wife. Was this the truth behind her death?
“Ten years ago, I witnessed blood flowing from Feng Qingcheng’s ears, nose, and mouth. My parents, Tu Xiang and Xu Jiayi, just stood to the side, watching,” Tu Xiuyu declared loudly. “For their own benefit, they poisoned the first wife, causing her death.”
“Tu Xiuyu, you unfilial brat!” Tu Xiang hadn’t expected Tu Xiuyu to say anything like this. Anger immediately filled his eyes, and a murderous look overcame him.
Feng Tianlan narrowed her eyes slightly. The day she had been waiting for had arrived!
