Chapter 1876: Request Reinforcement

Translator: Exodus Tales Editor: Exodus Tales
Karazhan was without a doubt a classic Instance Dungeon.
In Lu Li's last life, he had earned a decent amount of Dark Gold equipment and made a lot of money here, but ot was still far from the amount of money needed for his sister's operation.
This Instance Dungeon was a rather difficult one but still could be attempted by ordinary players.
Of course, the initial difficulty was definitely harder than today's.
Nightmare Difficulty was bound to have Epic equipment. Anyone with a brain would know not to choose Heroic Difficulty.
Achieving the First Clear was important, but Ruling Sword many First Clears. Lu Li and the guys were used to seeing Epic equipment.
This was a 15-man Instance Dungeon with Azure Sea Breeze as the Main Tank, Wandering as the secondary tank, March Rain as the main healer, and Hachi Chan as the secondary healer. The rest of the players were all responsible for damage output. If there was a need for more tanks or healers, there would be substitutes that could join in.
The Mages included Lonesome Flower, Fat Monkey and Kitty Likes Meat. The Thieves were Lu Li and Water Fairy, while the rest of the team was made up of Moonlight, Mu Qiu, Sakura Memories and Remnant Dream.
Karazhan had an opening quest, but only a high-level Thief could unlock it.
Ruling Sword didn't lack in this deparment, so entering into the Instance Dungeon was a pretty easy thing to do.
However, since this was Karazhan, Lu Li naturally couldn't forget about his own mentor, Garona. Karazhan was the place where she used to live and study. However, the owner of Karazhan and her had a relationship that couldn't be described or understood by people.
Garona still lived in a place that looked similar to Karazhan.
From what Lu Li knew, there were three Karazhans.
One was the true Karazhan, the second was Karazhan's underground, which was an upside down version known by people as Alternate Karazhan. Then, there was the place where Garona lived, which Lu Li knew was called the Shadow of Karazhan from what she had mentioned.
It was probably for commemorating the most peaceful time of her life she had lived so far.
Lu Li was teleported over. The current update didn't allow players to call for mentors, but one could go visit. Once one chose the option of visiting a mentor, they would be sent to where their mentor was.
This option needed to be used with caution in case one's mentor was in the middle of fighting someone.
However, Lu Li had a watch called Ragnarok. It had been bestowed with an attribute by Garona which allowed him to be teleported to the Shadow of Karazhan through the main city's teleportation channel.
He had appeared at the platform at the top of the tower. He didn't need guidance from anyone and followed the familiar road down.
After looking in a few places, he found Garona reading in a corner of the library. Her mechanical dogs were walking back and forth unknowingly and tirelessly making noises.
"At the time, I lived there in order to understand the land of Azeroth, and to understand everything about civilisation and wilderness of you humans," Garona said without lifting her head.
"I am an Elf, Mentor," Lu Li replied.
"Oh, it's you. Did you come back from Draenor? Oh, you guys now call it the Outlands. Draenor is already destroyed," Garona responded as she lifted her head to take a look and focused on her book again.
"Yes, my level has reached a maximum and I need to develop myself further through more battles and adventures," Lu Li explained.
"Then why have you come here? To enhance your poison studies? I remember your poison crafting level was already quite good, and had progressed a lot faster than back during my time," Garona said.
"You've praised me too much. The main thing is that you've taught me well."
Lu Li was very ashamed, he couldn't understand how players could gain Experience just by making things.
"Did you need my help? In such a short amount of time there isn't any way I can teach you so that you can enhance your skills more," Garona said.
"This time, I've come to first thank you for your help with the Throne of the Elements. If there is a chance, I would also like to thank that stealthy gentleman personally," Lu Li said.
"That guy…if there is a chance. So, does that mean there are other things?"
"Yes, I plan to go exploring Karazhan…"
Lu Li finally brought it up. He hoped to get help from Garona so that he could be a little faster than other people. In the circumstance where he couldn't make a difference in terms of equipment between other clubs, having the strategy wasn't a guaranteed assurance either.
Moreover, the strategies he knew of now were not suited for the current situation. The officials had already changed the Instance Dungeon many times.
"Karazhan…" Garona seemed to be lost in thought for awhile before she found her voice.
"Yes, Karazhan. The place where umm…Sir Medivh used to live."
"That isn't a place that you can go to. It has already turned into an Undead Wonderland…" Garona shook her head.
"That isn't the real Karazhan. With the passing of time and the utilization of magic powers, many shadow versions have been created. The one I'm going to is just one of them," Lu Li said, explaining the concept of an Instance Dungeon.
Karazhan's Instance Dungeon and the real Karazhan were not the same.
If the Instance Dungeon was the real thing, then a few dozen of players would be capable of killing the Black Dragon Princess and a fallen hero who had fought for decades. This was simply unrealistic.
If that was the case, these existences couldn't threaten the whole of Azeroth.
"So, it's just a shadow," Garona sighed in relief, then spoke in a low voice, "The real Karazhan contains too many secrets. Also, its underground is a place even I don't want to see. It's a place that represents a certain someone's evil side."
"I hope I can get the help of Mentor," Lu Li pleaded.
"Take this ring with you. It was given to me by someone. It should be able to help you," Garona said, then paused and added, "Return it once you're done then help me go complete an errand. Even though you are my student, you still should pay the price."
"Yes, Mentor." Lu Li received the ring happily and checked its attributes.
