Teebu's Blazing Longsword was hard to obtain. Many people often went through this dungeon multiple times, but received nothing in the end.
Lu Li didn't have much hope.
It just wasn't possible for everything in life to go as according to plan, just like the Postmaster Malone from before. They wanted the equipment, but the System didn't give it to them.
There were only a certain number of chances that Lu Li had to obtain Teebu's Blazing Longsword.
Besides some red and blue potions, the other items were useless, like Ripped Cloth. This was the kind of equipment that a shop might not even take.
The others were killing the monsters that Lu Li had already stolen from. This was how the Theft skill worked in Dawn – all monsters that had been stolen from could not be stolen from again.
It wasn't possible to steal unlimited Legendary weapons from a Legendary Boss.
Scroll: Damage increased by 20%, lasts for 8 seconds.
It was a surprise for Lu Li to find such an item when there were only a few monsters left. While this wasn't the most powerful buff, it was useful for providing a short amount of burst.
Unfortunately, it was a scroll, which meant that it could only be used once.
After Lu Li finished stealing from the last two monsters, he signaled for his team members to clear them out so that they could move on to the next side boss.
The last few monsters only gave him one Heavy Rubbish Box. As he opened the box, he waved to the others and said, "Hurry and clear this wave of monsters."
"You make it sound easy. We're going to die from pulling so many monsters," Azure Sea Breeze snapped back out of habit, but still continued to aggro more monsters. They were all humanoid Undead units, which were the weakest type of Undead.
"What did you steal?" Wandering asked in a disappointed tone.
"A scroll. It increases 20% damage, but it only lasts 8 seconds and it can't be stacked. I'll give it to Flower."
These scrolls were more suitable for Mages…
Wait!
What is this?
As Lu Li held onto the scroll, his hands froze on the spot
At the bottom of the stacked items, a sword-like icon caught his attention.
He felt his hands shake.
The details of this item quickly entered his brain – virtual gaming didn't require players to mouse-over their items for its details.
Teebu's Blazing Longsword?
This was crazy! It had to be a joke! Or perhaps, he was just too tired and was hallucinating.
The higher he had his hopes up, the more it would hurt him when he was ultimately disappointed. People often refused to believe a surprise that was right before them.
What laid at the bottom of his bag was Teebu's Blazing Longsword – the priceless weapon that sword-wielding classes dreamed of.
"What, you don't want to give the scroll to Flower anymore?" Wandering joked, but was met with a swift punch to the chest.
"My god, what are you doing!" Wandering cried out as he stared at Lu Li in fury.
He hated it when others touched his chest. Many people didn't believe that he was a man and would often touch his chest to confirm it. In order to punish these people accordingly, Wandering had even taken the time to learn Taekwondo in real life.
Unfortunately, he just couldn't beat Lu Li in the game.
"Does it hurt? If it hurts, then it's not a dream anymore. I'll show you something," Lu Li said as his dagger was instantly replaced by a longsword.
It seemed as if the entire street of Stratholme had been lit up.
Teebu's Blazing Longsword emitted heat and light; it was even more dazzling than the lightsabers in Star Wars.
Teebu's Blazing Sword (Gold): Damage 32-45, Strength +16, Agility +12, Accuracy+15%. Special Effect 1: Chance on hit: Blasts a target for 118 Fire damage. Special Effect 2: Flash, teleports castor 8 yards ahead. Can be blocked by an obstacle, only usable when out of combat. Cooldown 60 seconds. Level Requirement 45, Durability 120/120.
The Attributes were all as expected and were quite average. However, this was a weapon that's worth was in its aesthetics.
Wandering swallowed hard with an audible gulp; he regretted cursing at Lu Li.
"Hehe, my god indeed," Lu Li laughed as he waved the fancy sword around a few times.
"Uhm... what do I have to do for you to give this sword to me?"
Wandering was addicted to all that was beautiful, and this sword was a piece of art for sure.
"Get on the floor and bark like a dog," Azure Sea Breeze joked, trying to take advantage of the situation.
"Let Lu Li feel you!" Sakura Memories suggested eagerly.
Make him give you a bunch of gold coins!" The little Hunter Remnant Dream was a big fan of money.
"Tell him to call you daddy."
Little Hachi Chan had been acting strange lately; she had been asking people to call daddy a lot.
The others just smiled and stayed quiet.
Lu Li just tossed Teebu's Blazing Longsword to him and said with a smirk, "Sorry, I'm not gay, so you can still keep your love for Breezy."
Wandering was overjoyed; he didn't even care about what Lu Li said. In an instant, he changed his weapon.
Fancy, beautiful, cool – either way, it seemed like all descriptive words combined wasn't enough to describe how good Wandering looked with Teebu's Blazing Longsword.
Nobody mentioned a single word about gold coins.
Lu Li wasn't the type to be concerned over every petty detail either. He now had enough money to cure his sister, the guild was developing well and his annual income was no less than a million dollars.
He wasn't someone who kept his wealth to himself – otherwise, no one would have respected him in the past. Those who counted every single cent wouldn't be able to make it anywhere.
"Play with it later. The Attributes of that sword are way too average," Lu Li said.
It seemed like Wandering couldn't bring himself to pack it away. This sword had weak damage with mediocre Attributes. The first special effect was already bad enough, but the second special effect was even worse. Flash was a decent effect, but it wasn't useful at all when you could only use it out of combat.
Wandering packed away Teebu's Blazing Longsword reluctantly and everyone began to clear monsters again.
Not long after, they saw a Ghoul-like figure wandering on the street.
It had a name, so it clearly wasn't an average monster. Even though it was alone by itself, everyone immediately focused when they saw what it was called.
