Chapter 1388: Golemagg the Incinerator

“What do you mean by running away with someone else?” Hachi Chan was curious.
“If someone from another guild poaches you and you leave with him, it’s pretty self-explanatory,” Remnant Dream patiently explained to her little friend.
“Ohhhh,” Hachi Chan nodded in understanding.
“I’m not sure what happened exactly. Please don’t laugh guys; I’m still very sad about it.”
Azure Sea Breeze was still quite depressed. If murdering someone was legal, he could have killed this long-time friend ages ago.
“For someone like that, it’s good that you ended it.”
“But the thing is…” Azure Sea Breeze sighed, “I still think about her all the time. Am I a loser?”
“Yeah you are.”
Everyone nodded in agreement and Azure Sea Breeze became more depressed.
“Go talk to her then,” Moonlight suggested as he wiped away the blood and dirt off his sword until it was sparkling clean. “It’s hard to fall in love with someone. It’s better than wasting time around with Wandering because all the new members in the guild think that you two are a couple.”
“Piss off!” Wandering looked disgusted.
“Wandering… “Azure Sea Breeze whispered as he approached Wandering in a very gay manner.
After they chatted for a bit more, they continued on the dungeon.
They borrowed so much equipment yesterday and were now experienced with their new gear. Their teamwork and chemistry needed a bit more work, but that would come with time and so Lu Li wasn’t too worried.
This was also why he allowed them to talk amongst themselves about Azure Sea Breeze’s past stories.
Every story had a main character and side characters. He didn’t mind being a side character because it meant that he wouldn’t be the center of attention.
Golemagg the Incinerator was eventually killed.
The huge rock fell onto the ground, shaking the earth beneath them and causing a loud noise.
Lu Li truly believed that he had done something to offend the system. There was a player that received three skill points and a bunch of others that also received skill points, yet he was rewarded with nothing.
Black face, black hands and black heart – that was his new nickname recently.
The black trio!
“Lu Li is always so unlucky, but we still have our little lucky star.”
That was a message between two players in private chat.
Lu Li stepped away from the Boss as everyone glanced at him. He knew that they were worried about his bad luck affecting the drops, so he stayed as far away as possible.
Even though he was the team leader, he had to leave because everyone secretly wanted him to.
“Wow, there’s a special effect enhancement stone.”
The special effect stone had a higher potential than Haste rocks or Critical Chance rocks. However, it was very high-risk high-reward because the special effect could be either something godly or something useless.
However, since it was looted by their lucky star, obviously it was going to be something useful.
The special effect increased magic penetration, making it a very well-sought after item, especially for PvP Magic classes.
Magic Penetration ignored a certain amount of the target’s Magic Resist, allowing the caster to deal more damage.
With the increase in equipment with higher Armor and Magic Resistance, Magic Penetration had become a very popular stat. If Magic classes wanted to keep up their high damage, they had to look for items with magic penetration.
“This rock…” Lu Li began, then paused and said, “Deadly Green Orange?”
“30 points?”
“Okay.”
The starting bid was 5 points, so 30 points was quite a bit. If they were to really bid for it, it would probably go a lot higher, but since this was the First Clear team and he was from Drizzling Court, Lu Li didn’t want to create animosity between his own players and their allied guild.
The rest of the stones, materials and skill books that were useless were given to Lu Li to keep.
One of the materials was called Sulfuron Ingot, which was one of the materials required to craft a hammer. Lu Li notified Water Fairy, wanting to keep the material for himself and Water Fairy did not object.
There was a Gold equipment with a pretty useful special effect and it was won by one of the players.
Dark Gold equipment was not as popular anymore since there was an abundance of them in Nightmare dungeons.
After this, a Paladin T1 Chestplate was looted. This was a great piece of equipment and there was a lot of commotion for it because of how many Paladins there were.
In the end, it was between Darkness and Wandering. Wandering eventually gave up after competing for a bit because of how good his current chest piece was.
Darkness successfully won the chest piece.
Moonlight was dearly loved and adored by Sorrowless. If she was willing, she could easily gain a spot on the First Clear team on Glory Capital. Since she was so adored by him, she would probably be treated like a queen there.
However, she refused and instead joined a freelance guild – Glory Capital’s number one competitor Ruling Sword. Since joining, she had never complained or asked for special treatment. All she did was worked hard to keep her spot on the dungeon team and matured over time to become the best Holy Paladin in Ruling Sword.
Mu Qiu was a PvP player and his build was also quite unique which was why he wasn’t the top dungeon Holy Paladin.
Holy Paladins were different from Priests. Their healing power in the early game dungeons was considerably weaker than Druids, Shamans and Priests, which was why it was quite difficult for her to make it this far.
Azuresong Mageblade!
This was a Legendary single-handed weapon. Although it looked like a sword, it was actually for Magic classes.
Mageblades were quite rare. Not only did it have a beautiful name and looked cool, but it also had great stats. The only downside was that the third special effect was quite useless for Mages. It pushed enemies at melee range and would not activate reliably.
The last item that dropped was an Engineering recipe called Schematic: Biznicks 247×128 Accurascope, which was given to Lu Li.
Even if there were other Engineering players present, they wouldn’t dare compete with Lu Li.
