A Complete Family
In the next few days, Rosalie was busy preparing for the free clinic.
Her knowledge of the Lancer family was limited to rumors and the forum that Professor Luke had
recommended to her.
Those were not enough.
This opportunity was too rare for her. If Rosalie wanted to take full advantage of it, she must prepare as
much as possible.
Therefore, Rosalie had become a frequent visitor of the Quirke family these days. Old Master Quirke
also admired her very much and answered all the questions she raised about the Lancer family.
After they chatted about the Lancer family, the old master let Rosalie help him onto a chair. He asked
her in his deep voice, “I know I’ve asked if you and Andrius fancy each other before, and I know now
that neither of you has feelings for each other. But you’re a woman with two children. Even though it’s
not a problem, do you have anyone you fancy? Maybe this old man can help you come up with
something.”
Rosalie was caught off guard when the topic suddenly turned from the Lancer family to herself. She
shook her head at the old man, feeling embarrassed. “Lucian and Nox are very sensible. I don’t need to
worry about them, and it’s not troublesome to take care of them. I still want to develop my career first.
Everything else can be discussed later.”
Hearing this, old Master Quirke glanced at her disapprovingly. “It doesn’t matter to you, but those two
children can’t do without a father, which child doesn’t want a complete family?”
Rosalie felt apologetic at the mention of her two boys and remained silent.
The old man retracted his gaze and said leisurely, ” This time, the Lancer family sent a young man
who’s excellent in every aspect. I think you can consider him.

As soon as the old man finished speaking, Andrius’ voice was heard at the door of the villa. “Grandpa,
what are you trying to tell Dr. Jacobs? Dr. Jacobs is excellent in every aspect. How could there be a
shortage of suitors after her? If she hasn’t considered dating someone, it’s only because she has other
plans.

Andrius had nothing much to do in the company, so he came back early today. The housekeeper
mentioned that Rosalie was visiting, so he wanted to say hello. As soon as he entered the back
garden, he heard his grandpa playing matchmaker for Rosalie and hurriedly came out to interrupt.
The old master was in the dark, but he understood the situation clearly.
Byron had his eyes set on Rosalie. If his grandpa unknowingly matched her with someone else, how
could he explain it to his buddy?
Hearing the young man’s voice, the old master and Rosalie looked over at the same time.
Rosalie did not want to talk about this topic, so seeing Andrius help her out, she was relieved and
greeted him with a smile.
However, Old Master Quirke glared at his grandson in dissatisfaction. “You punk, you haven’t sorted
your own business yet you want to stick your nose into Dr. Jacobs’ affairs!”
Andrius scratched his nose with a guilty conscience and stood firm between the two. “Dr. Jacobs,
you’ve been so diligent in the past two days. How’s the preparation for the free clinic?”
Rosalie smiled. “Thanks to the old master who’s willing to recommend me to the Lancer family and has
been tirelessly answering my questions in the past two days, I feel more confident now.”
Hearing this, Andrius raised his eyebrows disapprovingly. “Your medical skills are so good. Even if you
didn’t take these measures, your performance wouldn’t be bad. There’s no need to be so nervous.”
Rosalie smiled and nodded. “Then I hope your words will bring me added luck.”
It was getting late, so Rosalie bade goodbye to the old master and wanted to leave.
Andrius sent her out. As they were parting, he suddenly said, “Don’t listen to my grandfather. If you
truly plan to find a father for your children, I think Byron is not a bad choice.”
