“Don’t try to fake it anymore. Get out. Get out now.” Ye Shaoguang was so angry that he was practically steaming. Basically, Ji Mianmian did not want to leave because she was comfortable here. She did not say that she wanted to test his bed skills.
Ye Shaoguang pulled the door open and pushed Ji Mianmian out.
He slammed the door shut after her. He was furious. That idiot. He thought of her when he did not see her, and then she drove him up the wall when he finally saw her.
“Open the door. I don’t have cash with me,” Ji Mianmian begged, “It’s so hot outside and you force me to leave. Where can I go now? Ye Shaoguang, how can you be so cruel…”
“Go wherever you like…” Ye Shaoguang harrumphed.
“Ye Shaoguang, open the door! I’m telling you now that I’ll stay right outside your door and not leave,” Ji Mianmian yelled, banging the door, “I seriously won’t leave. Open the door quickly. Can’t we talk things out? You just want me to test you on bed, right? I’m ready now, okay?”
Ye Shaoguang pinched his lips. Ready to test him now, eh? Hmph. Did she think he was a fool? There was no telling how long it would take her to prepare. He refused to take the bait.
Ji Mianmian continued to bang on the door. “I’m serious! I’m a young lady, you know? You can’t do this…”
Ye Shaoguang shut her voice out. He grabbed the remote control and turned the television off, then he threw all of Ji Mianmian’s junk food into the trashcan. As he heard Ji Mianmian’s voice, he told himself to stand firm. He could not give in.
However, the voice stopped after a few minutes. Ye Shaoguang paused in his footsteps.
What happened? Did she actually leave?
She had the will to do that?
Ye Shaoguang stopped. He had not actually wanted to chase Ji Mianmian out when he shoved her outside. He did it because he was way too angry. He wanted to make her simper and talk sweetly, cajoling him to calm down. Then he would let her in.
However, how could she speak for such a short while then say nothing afterward? She really had no determination.
Ye Shaoguang threw the trash and wheeled around, walking towards the door. He looked outside through the peephole, and… there was Ji Mianmian, talking to another man. That man was probably the neighbor. He had bought a unit in this luxury condo as his private quarters. Ye Shaoguang did not see him very often, but he had investigated his background thoroughly. He was probably a small-time actor.
He could not hear what they were talking about very clearly, but Ji Mianmian looked delighted. They even looked as though they clicked very well, and Ji Mianmian looked like she was about to go into his house.
Ye Shaoguang’s head throbbed with anger. He suddenly threw the door open. “What the hell are you still doing there? Get in here now!” he yelled, his features twisted into an angry knot.
Ji Mianmian’s head jerked around in shock. “Didn’t you say that I’m not allowed in there anymore?” she said, looking at Ye Shaoguang. “Didn’t you just chase me out?”
“Since when did I say that? How did I not know that I said that?” Ye Shaoguang denied, eyes wide open. “You didn’t even wear your shoes. All you know is to run about everywhere. You’re not even afraid that you’ll be caught by some pervert outside.”
“You… You…” Ji Mianmian stuttered.
Leng Ran shook his head. Why did he feel as though he was being referred to as the ‘pervert’? This… was a big misunderstanding.
“Mianmian, is this… your boyfriend?” he asked after he cleared his throat.
Ye Shaoguang immediately shot a glare once he heard that. He called her Mianmian… Mianmian? Who f*cking allowed him to use such an endearing title for her? He had no right to call her that.
“Don’t speak nonsense,” Ji Mianmian pouted. “He… is not my—”
“That’s right,” Ye Shaoguang cut Ji Mianmian off. “I’m her boyfriend. She has a bad temper and is so stubborn. She fought with me then ran out of the house herself!”
Ji Mianmian glared at him. What the f*ck? How could Ye Shaoguang be so shameless? She was the one who had been chased out by him!
He spewed the lie out, barely blinking. He was definitely not someone to be trusted!
