Chapter 1221
Duncan looked similar to Everett. The only difference was that Everett looked more introverted and
subdued. As for Duncan, he gave off a really imposing feeling and made. people feel pressured when
they were around him.
Duncan took a glance at Ninian and Harold. He greeted them with a nod and asked, “Where’s Everett?”
“He… He’s at the hotel pavilion, fighting with Rowan. He challenged him…”
“What on earth is he doing?!” Duncan’s expression was as cold as ice. He continued, “You’re grounded
in the forbidden room for three months!”
Zayn’s face turned pale. Even so, he did not fight back. He said in a soft voice politely, “Yes, sir!”
As Duncan was about to head to the hotel, he stopped and turned to look at Ninian. Her face was pale.
“Do you want to come along?”
Harold’s expression changed slightly, and before he could stop her, she said firmly, “Okay!”
Duncan looked impressed for a moment. He raised his hand. “Get down from there.”
Ninian approached him, grabbed his hand, and hopped. off the car. The two of them headed toward the
banquet hall.
Before Duncan arrived, he had already ordered the people to clear the place. Not many people were at
the banquet. at that moment.
Ninian followed after him, and, soon, they arrived at the small pavilion.
Unexpectedly, it was empty. Everett and Rowan were nowhere to be found.
Duncan’s subordinate, who was nearby, said, “Sir, we found some tracks.”
He hurriedly followed after the tracks. They soon led Duncan and Ninian to an open-air balcony.
The hotel was very tall. It had over seventy floors.
Although the banquet hall was not located high up, it was still located on the twentieth floor.
Everett and Rowan were fighting swiftly on the balcony. They were both holding bloodstained weapons.
Everett’s white shirt was soaked in blood, while blood oozed out from Rowan’s waist, abdomen, and
shoulders.
The scene looked horrifying.
Ninian’s heart ached, and tears welled up in her eyes.
Duncan had an unpleasant expression.
He knew the rules in the Craig family more than anyone else. If two people were indulged in a duel,
one must die.
Everett might have good fighting skills, but Rowan was ruthless. His every move was difficult to parry
and malicious.
Moreover, when young Everett lived abroad, Rowan had taught him to fight. So, he was very familiar
with his fighting style.
The two of them were so focused that neither Duncan nor Ninian dared to call out to Everett. They
feared that they might distract him.
However, Everett sensed something and glanced in their direction. His expression suddenly changed.
“Lower left, defense,” Duncan said in a low voice.
Everett reacted quickly and did as he was told.
“Top right, attack.”
He pulled out his knife and slashed Rowan’s shoulder.
“An inch below the navel.”
He kicked forward fiercely.
“Break his left rib.”
He rushed forward, blocking Rowan’s knife with his left hand. He then used the knife in his right arm
and stabbed in between his ribs, knocking him to the floor.
Under Duncan’s guidance, Everett finally won the duel. His face was covered in blood, and his eyes
were bloodshot. His gaze was as dark and fierce as a beast.
“Great job, Everett.” Duncan let out a sigh of relief and said, “Break his limbs and hand him to me. You
don’t have to dirty your hands any further.”
Everett stayed still.
Duncan frowned and asked cautiously, “Everett?”
Everett’s knife was still stuck in Rowan’s body. He lifted his gaze and looked at Duncan and Ninian.
As their eyes met, the two of them fell silent.
