She glanced through the news of the CEO‘s marriage. He had gotten married four and a half years ago
and become embroiled in a scandal of having a mistress one month after his marriage.

Adeena snorted.

He had drugged and molested her during their first meeting, so it was not strange for such a man to
have an affair while married.

She just pitied Mdm. Winters. Her husband betrayed her one month after they got married. Adeena
wondered how she got over it.

She suddenly heard someone knock on her door. Adeena put her phone away and responded
indifferently. “Come in.”

Jada walked in with a glass of warm milk. “Deena, you didn’t sleep well last night. Drink some milk
before you sleep tonight.”

Adeena nodded and took the milk.

After she drank it, Jada naturally took the empty glass away. She moved her lips but did not know what
else to say.

“Mom, you don‘t have to blame yourself.” Adeena smiled and said, “The Willis family has protected me
for three years, so I should do something for the family.” Jade felt even more guilty. “Deena, I‘m sorry.”



She had already set Deena up yesterday, and today, she made her step up to protect the Willis family.
She never found herself so shameless before. “If I become Mr. Winters‘ secretary, I‘ll go to Sea City
with him.” Adeena smiled. “Even if I officially leave the Willis family, I‘ll come back and visit you when I
have the time.”

Jada held the glass tightly. She had set up a lot of schemes for Ruth.

She applied her lipstick while she went after Adeena.

“Of course!” Ruth put her cosmetic products away.“ Deena, let me try, okay? I really like Mr. Winters.”
She swung Adeena‘s arm. “It‘s love at first sight. If I manage to be his secretary, I‘ll definitely thank
you.” Adeena was speechless. “If you want to go, let‘s go together.” Ruth then happily got into the car
