The family sat at the dining table for breakfast.

As they were about to finish breakfast, Adina said, “I received a call from the foreign educational institute
yesterday. It was Alden and Melody‘s teacher.”

Mabel put down her cutlery. “Is there an important reason for the call?”

Adina nodded. “Mel wasn‘t in good health in the past, and she received treatment in that educational
institute. I also helped Alden enroll in an early educational class there. A few months ago, I came back in
a hurry, so I didn‘t manage to complete some of the procedures. They called me over to finish the final
procedures. I‘d like to bring Alden and Melody along too.”

Mabel frowned. “Just let Mr. Brown go.”

“Mr. Brown can help me do it, but the teachers in the institute miss Mel and Alden.” Adina smiled and
said, “When I was alone with the kids, I had to work all the time. The teachers of the institute took good
care of them so they could grow up well. I was thinking that I should take them to visit the teachers as a
show of gratitude. What do you think, Duke?”

She looked at the man beside her, seemingly asking for his opinion.

Earl pursed his lips. He did not care about where the kids went.

If the children stayed in the Winters family, he would be more distracted, as he had to deal with them.

“You‘re their mother. I have no problem with wherever you want to take them,” he said indifferently.

“But...” Mabel disagreed. “Alden and Mel are still so young. It‘s too tiring for them to go abroad. It‘s also
easy for them to fall sick when entering a new environment.”



“Grandma, Mel and I have lived abroad for many years. We want to go back and take a look,” Alden said
obediently. “Mel and I planted a tree at the back of the house. I‘d like to know if the tree is still alive too.”

Melody blinked and said, “I also carved a bunny on the tree.”

“Wow! Really?” Harold curiously said. “I want to go and see the bunny that Mel carved.”

George paused for a while before he said, “Grandma, Dad, I‘d also like to go abroad and see where
Mommy, Alden, and Mel used to live.”

Earl cast a glance at him. “Have you forgotten what I arranged for you?”

George clenched his fists.

He had tried his best to guess the safe deposit box‘s password, but he still could not figure it out.

Was he that stupid? Had he let his dad down?

He lowered his head and twisted his hands anxiously.

Adina felt her heart seize up.

She patted George on the back before she looked at Earl and chuckled. She said, “Duke, can you not
put so much pressure on the kid? Whatever it is, can you wait until the kids and I return?”

It seemed like she was trying to sound cute.

No man could resist a beautiful woman who acted adorably.

Earl instantly gave in. “Okay, we‘ll talk about it after you return.”

“Yay! Awesome! I can go abroad with Mommy!” Harold jumped up high and ran around the living room.



George smiled as well.

Since the two of them had already agreed to it, Mabel had no right to object anymore.

After breakfast, Earl went directly to the company.

Meanwhile, Adina stayed behind to pack the children‘s clothing.

Mabel walked over and helped her sort out their daily necessities. “Addy, are you in a hurry? Do you
