The Green Tea’s Crushing Victories in the ’70s Chapter 305

Chapter 305 - That came as a shock to everyone. (1)
Su Yueshen looked very emotional at the thought of being able to see his son.
The children were still playing with the sand pouches when the adults walked into the yard.
The two men from behind also followed them in. They called out to Xiao Jiu anxiously when they saw him. “Xiao Jiu. Xiao Jiu. It is you!”
Xiao Jiao, who was dodging the sand pouches, stopped when he heard the men’s voices. Then, he pouted and ran toward the two men.
“Big Uncle! Second Uncle!”
Big Brother Gu and Second Brother Gu were both very emotional. They ran up and hugged Xiao Jiu. The stroked his little face and hands and checked for injuries on him.
The wound on Xiao Jiu’s head had yet to heal completely but the gauze had already been removed.
Both of them looked pained when they saw they felt the wound on the back of Xiao Jiu’s head.
Su Yueshen looked at Xiao Jiu. He eyes redden. Choking back his tears, he said, “Xiao Jiu.”
Xiao Jiu looked up and looked at the man standing in front of him. He looked perplexed. “Who is he, Big Uncle? I seemed to have seen him before.”
Su Yueshen reached out his arms to him. “Xiao Jiu, I’m your father. Come and give me a hug.”
Xiao Jiu was just 6 months old when he left capital City. How he had grown in the past four years.
Big Brother Gu pushed Xiao Jiu a little and said, “Go, Xiao Jiu. Haven’t you seen your dad’s photos before? Do you not recognize him?”
Xiao Jiu blinked. “Are you really my father?”
Su Yueshen felt a lump in his throat. He nodded heavily. “Yes, I am your father. Come, child!”
Xiao Jiu hesitated a little before he ran over to him.
Su Yueshen squatted down and threw his arms around Xiao Jiu. His eyes reddened even more.
Tong Mianmian walked over to Tong Xuelu. Leaning against Tong Xuelu, she asked in a soft voice, “Big Sister, is Xiao Jiu going home?”
Tong Xuelu picked her up and gave her a peck on her little cheek. “Yes, Xiao Jiu’s daddy is here to pick him up.”
The little bun pouted, and tears rolled down her cheeks. “Big Sister, when is Daddy coming to pick us up? I miss Daddy and Mommy.”
Tong Jiaming’s and Tong Jiaxin’s eyes also reddened when they heard Tong Mianmian’s words.
Tong Xuelu patted her on her head and didn’t say anything.
Su Yueshen finally calmed down after a long while.
He stood up, holding Xiao Jiu’s hand, and turned toward Tong Xuelu. “Comrade Tong, now that we have located Xiao Jiu, we will be taking him back with us. Our other family members are still waiting to hear from us. We will be back to thank you formally on another day.”
They came in a hurry today and were unprepared. Their family would return to express their appreciation when everything had settled down.
Tong Xuelu waved her hand. “No worries. Just be more careful in the future and don’t lose your child again. You might not be lucky enough to run into me next time!”
That was not the best way of putting things, but Su Yueshen was not offended. “You are right, Comrade Tong.”
Having said that, he lowered his head and said, “Go and say goodbye to the others, Xiao Jiu.”
Xiao Jiu let go of his hand and ran up to the Tong family. “Big Sister, Xiao Jiu is leaving now. But he will be back to visit!”
Tong Xuelu put Tong Mianmian down and rubbed Xiao Jiu on his head. “Okay, Big Sister will be waiting.”
She quite liked Xiao Jiu. He was mature, docile, and, most of all, very good-looking.
Xiao Jiu said goodbye to all the others before he was carried away by his father with tears in his eyes.
As soon as Xiao Jiu was gone, the yard quieted down.
Everybody felt this emptiness in them.

Su Yueshen returned to the Gu’s with Xiao Jiu in his arms.
Gu Yilan bawled when she saw her son. “My Xiu Jiu. Mommy’s little treasure. You are finally back!”
She had wanted to go with Su Yueshen to look for her son, but she was so emotional that her heart could not handle the activity.
Xiao Jiu, too, started to bawl when he saw his mother.
Xiao Jiu’s grandpa and grandma, too, were very emotional. They cried so much that snorts were coming out of their noses.
Su Yueshen finally looked over at everyone when they were all done crying. “Alright, are we done crying? If so, we need to talk about Lai Muqing.”
