“For what purpose? To get its core?” Minisun asked.
“I don’t know the details but the ancestor did mention the machine possessing something else. It might not be a part of its body but just in tow. Since it’s so long in the past, we have no idea what it is.” She said.
“Must be something extraordinary.” Li Qiye said. He guessed that the dragon had been carrying it all this time so when it died, the thing was either taken by Desolate Ancestor’s group or destroyed during the killing.
“As far as I know, several amazing progenitors took parts and asked someone to create a frightening weapon. That’s all I know since our ancestor passed away in the next war.” She revealed.
“There’s more to this, this alone doesn’t warrant the pursuit.” Li Qiye said.
“Yes, Young Noble.” She took a deep breath and nodded: “Our ancestor left behind something, we believe it is a token to prove participation in an agreement.”
“He was qualified to be involved, playing a supporting role even if he didn’t participate in Old Pact itself.” Unrivalled speculated.
“Our ancestor had ties with Life and Death Heaven, having assisted them before.” She sighed afterward.
The ancestor was once a supreme cultivator and this boosted their clan’s prestige. He befriended the strongest progenitors and primal ancestors, building alliances to stop Moshi. Now, their clan had fallen into obscurity.

“Immortal Suppression must be looking for this. We don’t know what it is, just that it is a token of sorts.” Demon Moon took out the badge without any hesitation. She had been hiding it all along and thought it must be useful in some way.
She didn’t know why Immortal Suppression caught winds of this being in their possession, but it could be the reason behind the pursuit.
The whole sinner thing was irrelevant, the token might be their actual goal. Thus, this started the drifting of her clan to avoid being caught. They fell into obscurity and became safe.
The issue was her exceptional achievements and potential to become a Grand Emperor. Her fame eventually reached Immortal Suppression and the existence of their clan became known again.

Rumor has it that Five-element Mountain was ranked first among the ten strongest dao lineages. The mythical three immortals have visited them before in legends.
Why was it no longer around? The most plausible explanation included their close ties to Desolate Ancestor and the immortals. Therefore, they served as the vanguards against Moshi.
Was it destroyed by Moshi himself or ravaged during the long war? This couldn’t be verified.
At the very least, no one in Sin has seen members of this lineage any longer or heard any news of them.
