Ì will." Molly nodded.
Then, Brycen sniffed affectedly. "Okay, then. I'll stop disturbing you and the kids. I need to get ready for bed."
He gave the phone back to the triplets and walked away while Caitlyn continued to nag him.
Molly was amused. She just could not stand how funny their interactions were.
After that, Molly talked with the triplets for quite some time.
Later at night, Molly said to the triplets after realizing that it was getting late, "Okay, babies. You guys should brush
your teeth and go to bed now. Sleep early. I still have to go to work tomorrow."
"Sure, mommy!”
Even though the triplets wanted to spend more time with Molly, they listened to her and hung up anyway.
Then, Molly dialed Sean's number.
Sean just finished a meeting, and he was taking care of some remaining work in his office.
A ray of cool white light shone on top of him, and it made his features look extra cold and classy.
He heard Molly calling him, and he accepted the call right away before putting his phone beside his ear.
"Hello?"
"Hello, Mr. Anderson. Are you still working?"
Molly asked in a mischievous tone as a cheeky playful smile appeared on her face.Sean smiled faintly after hearing the familiar voice. "You're getting cheekier. ■
Molly chuckled. She lay on the bed and rolled over lazily. "I miss you," she spoke softly.
'I miss you too."
Sean stopped everything that he was doing as he said that. Then, he asked while shutting down his
laptop, "Have you eaten dinner?"
"Yeah. I was calling the triplets before I called you. Sean, what about you?"
"Nope. I just got off work, but I'm going home now."
Tony came and pushed Sean out of the office before switching off all the lights.
Molly and Sean continued to chat until Sean returned home and finished dinner.
Even though it was all small talk, they felt very happy because they could listen to each other's voices.
"Sean, it's getting late."
Molly looked at the time and it was already ten o'clock.
Sean hummed softly and asked, "Are you going to sleep?"
"Yeah. I'm a little tired, but I still want to talk with you."
Molly mumbled as if she would feel incredibly at ease as long as she could hear Sean's voice.
"Okay. We'll talk then."
Sean said in his deep voice, and he continued chatting with her patiently. After some time, Molly went quiet suddenly.
"Molly, are you asleep?'
Sean asked after not hearing anything from the other end.
"Uh..."
Molly lay on the bed and grabbed the blanket sleepily before covering herself with it. Then, she stopped talking.
'I guess she's asleep.'
Sean smiled helplessly, and he spoke softly on the phone, "Good night."
Then, he hung up.
He had a good night's sleep that night.
The next day, Molly found out that Sean had sent her a greeting card as soon as she woke up. "Molly, happy
winter."
'Winter?'
Molly flipped through the calendar blurrily. It was only then that she realized that time had passed so quickly, and it
was already winter season.
The cold wind blew at her from all directions as soon as she stepped out of the hotel. Molly hunched her shoulders
and her teeth chattered. 'Yep, it's already winter.' She thought to herself.
